Air Jordan Force IX (AJF 9) Premier Black Varsity Red Light Olive

What has made the Air Jordan Force IX one of the most popular Fusion models so far is the fact that it stayed very true to the original Air Jordan IX design. The other thing that the shoe has going for it is that most of the AJF 9 colorways have been based on classic Air Jordan IX colorways. In case Jordan Brand hasn’t noticed, sneakerheads and especially hardcore Jordan-heads don’t seem to take too kindly to seeing their beloved classics “cheapened” with less than authentic color schemes. That’s why this Black/Olive version is a welcome edition to the Fusion family as far as we’re concerned. It stays so close to the original in terms of design and color that even Fusion-bashers might have to admit that these are pretty fresh. If your original pair of Black/Olive Air Jordan IX’s have taken a beating over the years or if you always wanted them, but never made it happen, now may be the time to scoop up the next best thing. Look for these to hit select Jordan retailers on May 30th.

Manny Pacquiao x Nike Air Trainer 1 Flywire + Windrunner Jacket

Last week, we showed a sneak preview of the Manny Pacquiao edition Air Trainer 1 Flywire that has been designed to help promote the Pac-Man’s upcoming fight with Ricky Hatton. The shoe features a stunning red/gold/white color scheme and is loaded up with Flywire and other updates like a Free sole and a visible Air bubble, as well as Manny’s logo on the heel. These kicks are a good fit for Manny whose fearless and tenacious approach has won over countless boxing fans and apparently caught the attention of Nike. In addition to this new and improved Air Trainer 1 shoe, Nike will also be releasing a Pacquiao-inspired Windrunner jacket that features the official Team Pacquiao logo and sponsors and can have you looking like you should be standing in his corner squirting his water bottle. If you are a rabid Pacquiao fan or just like these kicks, be advised that they will release this Saturday, May 2nd at Undefeated Las Vegas and other select Westcoast Nike retailers.

Supra Skytop II Sneak Preview

Supra made some major waves in the skate game when their beloved Skytop model debuted. The shoe unquestionably contributed in large part to the current trend of super-high cut sneakers that we are now seeing. Much to the delight of skaters and Supra fans everywhere, the brand has just announced that they will be unveiling the next generation of Skytops, the Skytop II, at the Agenda tradeshow in Huntington Beach this July. You know that we’ll stay on top of the developments and hopefully have some more news soon, but for now, just check out the faint silhouette in these pictures and imagine the possibilities. From what we can see from these images, it looks like the ankle cut has gotten even higher and we know that will excite a lot of sneakerheads.

Nike SB Omar Salazar Pro Model

P-Rod broke down doors for Nike SB skaters to receive their own pro models, but the brand has been smart to stay very selective and not just give anybody their own shoe. Stefan Janoski was only the second Nike SB skater to receive a pro model and now it’s time for Omar Salazar to shine. His new SB shoe features a mid cut with a variety of materials constructing the upper. There appear to be sections of black suede on the toebox, the eyelet panels and around the ankle with a woven mesh underlay for the mid-panel and heel. The Swoosh sports a metallic silver material and some other additions include a simple white midsole and laces. The most notable feature, however, has to be the crossed Flywire that graces the rear section of the shoe, making this the first Nike SB model to incorporate the innovative technology. Also, Salazar’s name is embroidered across the tongue in a way that seems to borrow from a classic Air Jordan logo, giving these kicks an extra dose of flavor. Stay tuned for release information and more photos in the near future. Via TheShoeGame.

Etnies Screw Updated Version June 09

When Etnies first introduced the Screw in 1993, it was one of the most popular skate shoes on the market and was appreciated for its style as well as its performance.  Etnies has decided to bring back the Screw, but they have made some modifications to bring it up to speed with some slight changes. The biggest change is that the shoe has been slimmed down from its original extra-wide frame. Also, the K.O. Man logo that used to appear on the tongue label is sadly no longer with us, but Etnies has made up for it with some other nice features. The most notable improvement is the use of Etnies’ e-Suede for the uppers, contributing to longer lasting grip and durability when skating. The Screw still sports a mid cut, but this time around, it uses a multi-colored scheme as opposed to the usually solid OG versions. These are slated for a June release, but until then, check out some more images after the jump, including a look at the old school K.O. Man tongue label.

Nike Zoom Hustle Black October 09

The Zoom Hustle will be among the first offerings from Nike’s upcoming “Refresh” line, in which classic styles are updated for a brand new look. In the case of the Zoom Hustle, the inspiration was the Nike Hyperflight model from 2001. Based on the look of the original Hyperflight, it seems that the Zoom Hustle adds some touches that make for a more traditional basketball design rather than a more futuristic version. The shoe features simple lines and almost makes the shoe look like the predecessor to the Hyperflight rather than its successor. The interesting cut around the ankle and the perforations on the inner half of the upper are definite nods to the Hyperflight, but other than that, it’s hard to find many similarities. Aside from the shiny black patent leather, other additions are the Zoom Air sole and the Refresh logo on the tongue. Check out some more images after the jump and look for these to hit Nike retailers this October in time for a new b-ball season. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Cappuccino Sanddrift

We have already seen Navy and Black versions of the Nike SB Stefan Janoski pro model and now comes a new colorway that leans even further towards the shoe’s casual boat-shoe aesthetic. Thanks to its Cappuccino/Sanddrift color scheme, this shoe looks like it would be just as appropriate at work with a pair of khakis as it would tearing up the streets on your skateboard. This versatility offers some nice style options, all while staying true to its skate performance foundation. In addition to the dark brown suede upper, the shoe also sports a white midsole and leather laces, as well as a white Swoosh and contrast stitching on the upper. Additional style touches are included on the vintage-looking tongue tag and insoles. Expect these to hit select Nike SB retailers such as AlohaArmy on May 8th. Via Ctothe JL.
