Late last year, Offspring teamed up with Onitsuka Tiger to help honor the history of running sneakers, releasing some classic models in a pack that they called “The Running Story.” Now that the seasons are changing, what better way is there to continue the tribute than to kick off Part 2 with the release of some nice new colorways. This time around, the Ultimate 81 is back in three new versions and looking as good as ever. Onitsuka Tiger’s Running Story would not be complete without honoring this model from the early 80’s. The Ultimate 81 was way ahead ahead of its time in terms of both style and performance and can still be appreciated today thanks to the next leg of the Offspring x Onitsuka Tiger collaboration. All three sneakers sport varied color combinations and each has its own charm, from the subdued to the bold. If you missed your shot at The Running Story Part 1, you can get your own piece of Onitsuka Tiger running shoe history now at Offspring.
