Air Jordan 60 Plus @ Oak Hill Academy

Virginia’s Oak Hill Academy has been producing elite level basketball talent for quite a while now. With recent alumni like NBA stars Carmelo Anthony, Josh Smith and Rajon Rondo, Oak Hill already had an impressive legacy to flaunt, but now things have gotten even sweeter for the Warriors. Already sponsored by Jordan Brand, Oak Hill players have recently been given a chance to not only test drive, but debut the new Air Jordan 60 Plus on the court. The 60 Plus is the latest Jordan hybrid to surface, and while many of you may have already seen some fuzzy catalog images, this Oak Hill colorway has been kept pretty quiet. The Jordan 60 Plus combines design elements of the Air Jordan II and V, the shoes Michael wore while scoring at least 60 points 3 times between 1986-1987 and again in 1990. Enjoy a look at these kicks in action and stay tuned for more info on the Air Jordan 60 Plus. They are expected to hit stores in the fall, so it will only be a matter of time before some more images start showing up.

  3. Tysonz Says:

Enuff with the gay ass hybrids already. Jordan brand has ruined classics with their greed to make more an more money and keep playing out their product with a new air force/jordan x jordan I IV VII hybrid. Its obvious that the old people in charge arent there anymore…..its a shame

  4. Mr. X Says:

HA its a semi spizike…. how original!!!!

  5. 4DRUMZ Says:

TRASH… and that dude had some really poor ink!

  6. KiXzFienD Says:

    …………… R U SERIOUS…………….

  7. coolgreydreams Says:

wow, those are pretty horrid. shows why inbreeding is bad.

  8. Claudzilla Says:

what’s the next hybrid, the J’s he wore every time he took a sh*t and ran out of toilet paper?

  9. PhilWil Says:

This does not look good at all. Maybe its the colorway.

  10. hitosimon Says:

the Hyperize or Hyperlite attracts me more..
    this AJ looks like s***

  11. dj.jbras Says:

I really hate all of the hybrids, dub-zeros and spizikes were fine, but it’s getting out of hand. These are ugly, but I’m going to wait until I see some other color-ways before I make my final statement…

  12. OnlyFootball Says:

who cares about the 60 plus, i’m checking out the Hyperize colorways those other teams are wearing. looking real good

  13. Longivity Says:

With time everything changes, JB is simply adapting. JB already ran thru a bunch of its retros 5, 6, 7 years ago. A real sneakerhead would know…without puttin ridiculous prices or colorways on retros, they have ran they course…its new…I like em…the sole of the 5s…air bubble & all…can’t wait 2 see other colorways…will cop!! I salute JB…

  14. Tony Stark Says:

Most of the other hybrids have grown on me, but this color look like a K-Mart knockoff from the late 80s. Horrible :(

  15. Air Jedi Says:

First the colorway is wack, second they look good to play ball…not to wear with jeans….looking foward to see another colorway.

  16. frosty_1 Says:

    these are for PLAYING BASKETBALL.
quit having heart attacks, these obviously weren’t meant for casual wear if they already hit the court.
and i do agree on the colorway, it’s pretty horrible.
    better ones should release.

  17. His Airness Says:

UGLY, I WOULD PASS ON THEM

  18. SneakerMeStupid Says:

Great Post ! good find, these look very dope in person

  19. MD Man Says:

These also come in a green and white colorway that is worn by Montrose Christian (highschool that Kevin Durant graduated from).

  20. T J TAULU Says:

too hard to evaluate from those frames

  21. shawndoh Says:

more laziness from JB- its just a V with some extra junk stuck to it. If the brand is really trying to move ahead, then they should be something like 70% new stuff, 30% old. But it only takes one look at a wall in Footlocker to know that’s no the truth. don’t lie to us, we don’t believe you!

  22. Twizzle Says:

I don’t know, the II and Vs are two of my faves, so it’s hard to go wrong with a hybrid, but…I need to see them in other colors up close.

  23. stacio Says:

a true hoop shoe indeed love tha swag wit em id rock em

  24. P Millah Says:

Wack! C’mon man, yaw know this already. If the word JORDAN wasn’t attached to it, the rest of you lames would be throwing up too. No matter what colorway. Step up Jordan Brand!!!

  25. justin Says:

    spizikes look way better.

  26. Def151 Says:

These shoes just look silly… The Air Jordan II wasn’t one of those shoes that sold like that in 86-87 or when they first retro’d them in the 90′s. They took off when JB retro’d them in 04 simply because they were retro’s. AJ V’s are a work of art. I will be wearing a pair at my wedding and funeral. To “Frankenstein” these two shoes is an example of laziness. I can appreciate a “Frankenstein” like the Spiz’ike because they combine choice Air Jordans. By choice, I mean the Jordans we all wore… when wearing a pair of Air Jordans was a symbol of status. And I always liked the “40 Acres and a Mule” symbol. Plus the proceeds from the sale of the Spiz’ike went to a charitable cause (Morehouse University film school). What is the reasoning behind this shoe? To make a good hoop shoe? Why a II then. Didn’t Mike hurt his leg wearing those POS shoes back in 86-87? Def not a good hoop shoe. Best Jordans for hoop are probably 5,6,8, and 9. Right?

  27. rev one*der Says:

to quote charlie brown (lotns)” dooooo – doooooo”

  28. Lightening jays Says:

are u serious… i mean, comon at least a jumpman logo on the tongue or the back… this looks like fakeass v.

  29. sidanii Says:

Lmao they are playing my high school in these photos lmao…St. Benedicts Baby…..but I think they are gonna look good…they have the grape ones they gon be tough.

  30. reaux the don Says:

i like the grape colored ones better.

  31. Bagz Says:

    ugh!…wrong colors…hot shoe though

  32. kg Says:

these sneaks luk bettr n the othr colorways not that bad but i like the retro number j’s bettr

  33. jeff young Says:
