The May 2009 lineup from Nike SB is one of the strongest we’ve seen in a long time. Among the big hits here are the ‘Band Aid’-like Dunk Low Pros along with another lowtop Dunk in grey, blue, black and orange. The assortment of Dunks is rounded out with a pair of Mids perfect for Laker fans. While Dunks might be the most successful SB shoe, the new (and last) pair of P-Rod IIs in a Supreme-like colourway might be the most pleasing out of the entire bunch. There’s also a pair each of Zoom Tre ADs, Veloces and Zoom Harbors. You can see all six after the jump, then head to CCS to cop them now.

i think the blue animal print ones are fresh

Supreme P-rods look kind of stale to me… Not liking the transition from dunk to p-rod like i did for the pigeon colorway.
I’d think about those white/grey dunk lows for a pair of beaters.

“The May 2009 lineup from Nike SB is one of the strongest we’ve seen in a long time”? That’s bit of a stretch don’t you think? Think of all the classics that came out during the Orange Box, Silver Box and Pink Box era, all of these releases can’t even hold a light to those SB’s (yes im talking about the Angus and Zoom URL even)
The only shoe considered to be remotely strong are the P-Rod’s, which is still the weakest of all Elephant-printed P-Rods. Everything else is throw away. Wait until they release the Gucci Dunks, then we’re talking.

@Harold
Id be interested to hear which month’s drops you favoured over these over, say, the last year to 18 months.
No stretch . . . maybe our perceptions of time are slightly different

@bigbabyjesus
I argee with Harold, ain’t nothing strong about May’s Lineup…nothing… to go back to the Orange, Silver and Pink Box era these don’t even come close shouldn’t even included in the same sentence if you talking about those other eras…The Mids look like more for a Nike 6.0 Wackness then an SB, the Nike Air Harbors are just pointless who even wears those? My goodness…The Veloce is just an ugly shoe to begin with. There is nothing exciting about the Dunk Lo’s. MAY 2009 SB RELEASE BORRRRRINNNNGGG!!!

“these don’t even come close shouldn’t even included in the same sentence if you talking about those other eras”
NOW, if I agree with this statement, which I do, surely you’ll have to concede that in no way did I compare these to the classics, NOR did I use the word ‘era’
If anything, I was saying these bested alot of the Purple box releases. Y’all listen to too much gangsta rap…reading for controversy rather than content

Pure Uncut RUBBiSH!!!!

You guys are trippin! Nothing “stellar” or super stand-out, but all pretty solid. And like BBJ said, it’s been at least a year since NikeSB released more then two shoes in one month that I like.
