Nike Air Max 1 ND White Metallic Silver

While the US has had its share of US exclusive Air Max 1s over the past few months, Europe has one up their sleeves as well. The above Air Max 1 features a nice solid metallic silver upper with no other colors except for white accents. The metallic silver leather has a slight embossed pattern and the breathable mesh features metallic silver as well. Europe Air Max heads can find these now at select Nike retailers, we found them on Nikestore UK.

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Black White

The Stefan Janoski Nike SB model is a welcomed departure from the bold, colorful styles that Nike SB has become well-known for. We showed you the first colorway of the Stefan Janoski shoe last month and now the second installment seems to stick to the same toned-down aesthetic. As only the second Nike skateboarder to receive a signature model, the SB designers did a good job of representing Janoski’s more subtle style, blessing the shoe with some serious individuality in the process. With its simple design and casual look, the Stefan Janoski SB model has some versatile applications, as it is built to skate, but has a classy style that could really be worn in almost any situation. This pair uses a basic black suede upper with a white midsole and accents and gets some extra style points for the boat shoe laces and the vintage-looking tongue label. These are expected to begin arriving at Nike SB accounts in the very near future. Via CrookedTongues.

Reebok Freestyle + Ex O Fit Hi Basquiat Collection Fall 2009

Reebok is once again using the artwork of late painter, Jean-Michel Basquiat to decorate some of their classic models. Basquiat set the art world on fire back in the 80′s, transitioning from homeless grafitti artist to eventually become a world famous painter after being taken under Andy Warhol’s wing. The Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi and Freestyle have been chosen this time around to be the canvas for some chaotic Basquiat doodling. Both shoes feature black leather uppers with white print and accents, but the Ex-O-Fit uses shiny black patent leather for its base, while the Freestyle sports a duller, more faded black leather. If you are a fan of Basquiat’s work or you just think these kicks are kinda fresh, you can start checking for both pairs at select Reebok retailers some time this fall. Via HighSnobiety.

Nike Air Force 1 Supreme SP Black Purple Huarache

Yesterday, we showed you a new Black/Mean Green Air Force 1 that was inspired by the Air Huarache and now we bring news of another colorway that takes the theme a step further. This Air Force 1 Supreme borrows another familiar Huarache colorway, using premium purple leather from the mid panel and eyelet section moving back towards the rear of the shoe. The mudguard and toe box contrast the deep purple hue with a rich untreated black leather. The shoe also features a white Swoosh and a purple midsole with white stitching and accents. A translucent outsole allows the heel Air section to peek through and also displays a Nike Huarache logo on the bottom of the sole. The Air Huarache logo is also used for the tongue label, similar to the blue/green and white on white Air Force 1/Air Huarache hybrids that have already been previewed. Unfortunately, these are currently only available in the U.K. and through NikeStore Europe, but we’re hoping that they will make their way Stateside. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date on any breaking news of a U.S. release.

Air Jordan Force IV (AJF 4) All Red @ Jordan Brand Classic

There were a lot of sights to take in at the recent Jordan Brand Classic events that were held at the Westin hotel and Madison Square Garden, but to us, the focal point has to be the crazy pair of Air Jordan Force IV’s that were spotted by Marcus Troy sitting courtside. These intriguing Fusions feature an all red upper with the classic Jordan cement speckled print on the midsole, heel tab and lacing flap. There is no official word yet if these will be released or are just a sample, but you know we’ll keep you posted. Also of note, check out some more pics of the event after the jump for a look at Jordan chocolate bars, shot glasses and headphones, as well as some of the other highlights of the night, like Spike Lee in a pair of black Air Jordan Force IX’s.

Jordan Elements Black Blue Quai 54 Edition

A lot of sneakerheads can’t be bothered with any Jordan models if they are not Retros or at least somehow based on a Retro, but the new Jordan Elements definitely deserves a look anyway. The Jordan Elements is a performance basketball sneaker from Jordan Brand that will be dropping in four colorways beginning this July and moving through the fall. The version pictured here will not be one of the colorways released for retail, but it gives you a chance to check out the design and plant the seeds of anticipation for the coming releases. This colorway was made exclusively for the Quai 54 International Streetball Tournament that is held in France each year. You may remember seeing the Air Jordan 1 that was created for the Jordan-sponsored event last year, and now it is the Elements that will get the spotlight.

The shoe uses several materials on different parts of the upper, combining black patent leather, mesh and textured leather. The blue translucent midsole is met by a black speckled rim along the top edge giving the sneaker some nice stylish touches. On these special edition pair, there is also a Quai 54 tongue label and a “Ruff N’ Tuff” tag inside the tongue. Check out some detailed pictures after the jump, as well as a look at another white/black/red colorway of the Jordan Elements. Stay tuned for news on the upcoming retail versions in the near future. Nike Womens Air Digs Spring 2009

Towards the end of last year, we showed you an interesting Nike Retro release for the ladies, the Air Digs. The shoe was originally released in 1991 as a volleyball shoe, but thanks to its old school look and the current high-top renaissance, they seemed like a good fit for a re-release. This pair takes the shoe to a new level of street style, incorporating an overwhelming dose of color and patterns to make it stand out from the pack. Surrounding the white mesh underlay and black base is an explosion of color, using shades of purple, pink and turquoise on various textured sections of the upper, as well as a bright orange lining and laces. As far as wild colorful styles go, sneakers don’t get much more flamboyant than these. If any of you ladies are bold enough to flaunt these down the street, and we know you’re out there, you can cop a pair now at Standard.

Visvim Skagway Lo Denim Dirty Soles

We saw a pair of Chucks a little while back that look like they’ve been mowed in, but this new pair of cap-toed lowtops remind your author of the nine year-old pair he wears whilst weightlifting.  The Visvim Skagway Lo Denim is a different take on the vintage look, eschewing yellowed soles and laces in favor of a grimy, blackened look.  There are four new pairs here, so you can pick between black, blue, white or orange.  Each features the aforementioned ‘dirty’ soles and a red ‘VSVM’ tag on its heel.  Rather than spending a decade to make your own, get a new pair with intact cushioning today from Undefeated.

Asics Gel Lyte III Lite Brite Guinness World Record Fall 2009

We’re not sure if the Asics Gel Lyte III actually owns the standard for most colourways in any running shoe, but it’s clear the company owns one record.  On October 7, 2008, they more than doubled the previous mark and to this date are the owners of the Guinness World Record for Largest Lite-Brite Picture.  Their massive pegboard depicted a neon palette on the Gel Lyte III using the original hues from Hasbro’s classic toy, and those same shades are now set to see the light of day.  The Gel Lyte IIIs above are set to drop this fall, so stick with Sneaker News and we’ll keep you up to date on their release, along with any other ingenious marketing efforts.  via FRESHNESS
