Nike Zoom Sharkley Paul Pierce PE Boston Celtics Home

Though Ray Allen’s Jordan Brand kicks in Celtic green are consistently impressive, he’s not the only Beantown baller with dope PEs.  The Nike Zoom Sharkley Paul Pierce PE for the Celts’ home games this Playoff season is a rugged look for the increasingly physical games as we march toward the Larry O’Brien trophy.  Featuring a simple white on green colourway, these joints have the ‘P2′ logo embroidered on the heel so you know for sure whose they are.  It’s unlikely that these will ever see retail shelves, but then again, Nike has released a ton of PE sneakers lately.  Stick with Sneaker News and we’ll pass along any new info.  via NT

atmos x Reebok Pump Omni Lite Hologram Pack

Fresh off the Polka Dot Pack, atmos and Reebok got up for two other brightly coloured Pumps.  The atmos x Reebok Pump Omni Lite Hologram Pack includes a pair each in silver or black.  The key feature on both is a dope hologram effect laid over the leather uppers that give off an irridescent or rainbow reflection on the silver and black pairs, respectively.  Interestingly enough, we didn’t find these at atmos, but this is good news for US sneakerheads.  If you’re entraced by the hologram pattern, cop these now from Kix-Files.

Vans Low Cab Croc Suede Blue + Black + Red

Though the Half Cab is on fire at the moment and we saw a resurrection of the ‘Full Cab’ in commemoration of his 20th year with Vans, we mustn’t forget about the lowtop in Steve Caballero’s signature series.  The Vans Low Cab is here in three basic colourways for spring.  Appearing in blue, black or red suede, each features a faux-croc overlay and Vans signature vulc-sole.  You can cop any or all of these now from Plus Skateshop.  via CtotheJL

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Metallic Croc France Exclusive

Here’s another crazy design that proves the Chuck still has a few tricks up his sleeve.  The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Low appears here in a metallic croc skin do-up that features a ton of colours.  On the forefoot area, it’s mostly white with blue outlining the scales, which fades into a combination of black and red, making the blue outlines more pronounced.  Toss in red stitching and the classic white Chuck Taylor sole and these are all at once flashy and classy.  A France-exclusive, they’re set to drop later this month.  via Hypequest

Nike x Yi Jian Lian 1World Air Force 1 Supreme Woven Edition

The last and final shoe from the Asia region in the Nike 1World Air Force 1 collaboration project will come from China and New Jersey Nets Power Forward, Yi Jian Lian. Yi is the second basketball player to work on a 1World Air Force 1, the first of course was Rasheed Wallace. Yi’s Air Force 1 comes in a tonal Beach colorway on the entire upper with the outsole coming in a Dark Brown color. The upper uses a number of premium materials including a Woven Leather as well as a Crocodile embossed leather. Yi picked these two special materials because of his love for Air Force 1 LUX and HTM models that he has accumulated over the years. On the shoe’s heel you can find the “Yi” logo that is often seen on his Player Exclusive Nike Basketball shoes. The shoes are scheduled for a May 17th release at a handful of retailers in China including a Nike Basketball door in Guang Zhou where Yi himself will make an appearance. The shoes carry a retail price of 1,580 RMB (~$231.27 USD). via Urban

Selfridges x Converse Selfridges Centenary Pantone 109

Legendary British retailer, Selfridges London, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and several loyal brands have decided to honor the shop with a string of collaboration projects to help commemorate their historic milestone. Top labels such as Marc Jacobs, Giles Deacon, Giuseppe Zanotti, Paul Smith, Mole Skin and Ralph Lauren are all producing special anniversary products for the store, all colored or inspired by Selfridges’ trademark Pantone 109 yellow. Converse will be joining the celebration with a Pantone 109 colored Chuck Taylor low model. Nike Air Max Light May 2009

As one of the first Air Max models ever introduced, you would think that there would be more love for the Nike Air Max Light, especially considering the nostalgia-craving nature of the sneaker community. The Air Max Light was originally released in 1989, meaning that the shoe is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and what better way to celebrate than to bring it back into favor with some fresh contemporary colorways. As a result, three striking new versions of the Air Max Light will begin hitting stores next month.

One new colorway features a black upper with orange accents, sections of white mesh and a clean white midsole. The other two versions use almost the same color combinations, with one going light and the other dark. Both use various shades of grey with bright green accents, but one sports white mesh sections with a white midsole, while the other features black mesh and a black midsole. Needless to say after checking out these pics, that all three do the original design proper justice and will no doubt help the Air Max Light to make up some ground on some of the Air Max models that overshadow it. Look for all three to arrive at select Nike retailers such as Sneakology this May. Via EUkicks.

Air Jordan VI White Gold Sample

Jordan Brand’s own Gentry Humphrey is letting some cats out of the bag in the new 2009 Jordan issue of Sole Collector. Within the pages of Sole Collector Issue 27, you can find a glimpse of what we believe might be the Air Jordan VI from an upcoming Defining Moments 2 Pack. It is not confirmed if these are just a sample from Gentry’s private collection or if they will be released, but it wouldn’t be the first time we got an exclusive sneak peek from a Sole Collector Jordan issue. Like the original pack from 2006, the shoe features a gold accent theme, this time swapping out the black upper for a clean white one. The fact that it is pictured alongside the Air Jordan XI from the original DMP pack breeds hope that these will eventually be available for retail. We’ll stay on top of this one and let you know if they will ever be released or if you will just have to keep drooling over the photos. Also, check out the Air Jordan Force IX with the international flag design after the jump and for a better look at these pics and more, you can pick up the new issue of Sole Collector now. Solemart April 2009 Event Recap

Over the weekend, Berlin sneaker shop, Solebox, held their latest Solemart event to rave reviews. Sneakerheads from not only Germany, but all over Europe, made their way to Solemart to buy, trade and sell some of the sneaker game’s hottest commodities. Even those who didn’t bring a bulging pocket full of sneaker money were treated to the interesting displays of both new and classic sneakers, as well as toys, sneaker art and much more. Although Nike shoes were definitely well-represented, it was refreshing to see so many other brands such as New Balance, Puma, Lacoste, Asics and Adidas receiving much more recognition and appreciation than they probably would at a comparable sneaker event held in the United States. The event was such a success, in fact, that there has already been another Solemart event scheduled for July 2nd, so if you missed it, you will hopefully have a chance to catch the next one.

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III Grey Yellow Reptile

We recently showed you this Zoom Soldier III as part of Nike’s upcoming Fall/Winter basketball collection and now we have some new images that provide a closer look at what will surely be one of the most sought after LeBron releases of the year. Usually it’s the annual “Dunkman” colorway that gives the Zoom Soldier its most fashionable look, but this stylish edition is poised to give it some healthy competition. The shoe features a nice grey/white/yellow color scheme that utilizes some super-fresh touches to help take things to the next level. The upper features a synthetic reptile-like material that resembles the beloved Safari print, but appears to have a much bumpier, more textured surface, giving it a slightly different feel. This Zoom Soldier III also sports a white midsole with multi-colored speckles that is covered along the bottom by a translucent grey outsole. One notable change from the sample that we already showed you is that the multi-colored stitching on the strap sections has been switched to a more subtle grey on grey scheme. No exact date on a release, so be sure to keep checking back for the release info once it is confirmed. Via Freshness.
