Vans Chukka Low Summer 2009

Vans is back to brighten up your day with two new Chukka Low releases in some very spring-appropriate pastel colorways. Both a light yellow and light turquoise version have just been released in time for the arrival of the nice weather. Both colorways feature suede uppers with solid tonal color schemes, as well as white midsoles with a black stripe around the top. There is also a black Vans logo tab and black laces and eyelet rings. The Vans Chukka Low offers a simple casual style, equally suitable for skateboarding or just chilling and the color schemes are pretty unique compared to most of the similar models on the market. If these kicks are up your alley, you can get both pairs now from HUF.

Nike Dunk High Nylon Premium White Purple

At first glance, these might look like just a nice clean white Dunk High model, but a closer look reveals that there is actually much more going on than you might have originally noticed. This Dunk High Nylon Premium has been dubbed the “Vandalized Dunk,” obviously because of the nylon material that has appeared on so many Nike Vandal models over the years. We showed you a preview of these nylon Dunk Highs a few weeks back, but now we bring you a close-up look at some of the finer details. The shoe features a solid White nylon upper with a Neutral Grey Swoosh and midsole. There are also some very minimal Pink and Pure Purple accents on the tongue label and a second set of purple laces is included in case the white pair is too tame for you. Another notable addition is a ribbed white band that wraps around the entire shoe just above the midsole. Check for these now at select Nike retailers. Via Grip.

The Everybody High is back with some crisp new looks, featuring two new Americas and a black version with a gum midsole. All three are graced with some interesting patterned laces. The collection is rounded out by royal blue versions of the Chaser and Shell Toe, as well as a red colorway of the Public Outrage. Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III White Black Aqua Two Versions

We just saw two new pairs of LeBron James’ playoff shoe earlier today, both of which are expected to release.  With the two pairs in this feature, you’ll see two different versions of what is likely to be a single release.  The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III appears here in two variations on a single theme: white and black with aqua blue accents.  Both pairs keep the same basic construction, but the difference is in the details.

One edition features patent leather on the black parts, whereas the other features a simple full grain cowhide.  On the patent leather pair, the ‘LBJ23′ logo on the upper strap is black with an aqua crown, whereas this is inverted on the other pair.  The final changes are at the top, where the patent joints feature a black Dunkman and lining, while the others opt for aqua.  It’s a tossup as to which pair will be the final release — which ones do you like better?  via NikeLeBron.net

Nike LunarGlide+ featuring the Dynamic Support System

You don’t get to be where Nike is without putting in the research and development hours to push their products to the threshold of performance and innovation. Nike’s new LunarGlide+ is a new breed of running shoe, thoughtfully designed to offer more than we have ever seen from a performance runner. The concept behind the LunarGlide+ was to focus on maximizing both cushioning and stability, previously something that was usually an either or decision. Nike’s new Dynamic Support system ably addresses both needs, providing a state of the art new midsole design intended to adapt to a runner’s gait with each step they take. Additional Nike technologies such as LunarLite foam, a Natural Motion outsole and Flywire are also included in the construction, making this shoe not only comfortable and responsive, but also extremely lightweight as well.

This black/orange model will be for men and the grey/orange is for women, but the colorway will not be the only difference between the men’s and women’s models. Several modifications have been made to the women’s version to ensure a fit and performance more suitable to a smaller body frame and the needs of women athletes. Look for this sparkling example of design ingenuity to hit select Nike retailers around the world on July 1st in both men’s and women’s colorways. Via Freshness.

Nike Air Trainer III Grey Black Red

The timing is interesting.  Having seen the first Air Trainer II in about eight months earlier today, Nike is dropping a new edition of the subsequent model.  The Nike Air Trainer III is back in a colourway that just can’t go wrong: grey, black and red with a touch of white.  These also feature an interesting geometrical pattern on the lining that peeks out just a bit around the ankle.  If you like the retro high-tech look done up in a classic palette, cop these now on eBay. Popular Cali brand, The Hundreds is back with some new summer releases from their Footware division. The upcoming collection features new colorways of the Johnson Low and Mid, as well as the Valenzuela. You may remember seeing The Hundreds models that dropped last month, and if you are kicking yourself for missing them, know that the summer line-up will more than make up for it. The Johnson Low comes with solid uppers in green, blue, black and white, all with a red stripe at the top of the white midsoles. The Valenzuela features a very casual style with traditional black and white colorways and a third option of red for a slightly bolder look. All three Valenzuela models sport a white midsole with a red stripe and a gum toe cap. Look for the entire summer collection to be available at The Hundreds Los Angeles and San Francisco stores this coming Thursday, April 23rd.

Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium Ice Green Black

Sneakerheads either love or hate Nike SB Dunk Mid’s strap, but most were thrilled to see the ‘Sea Crystal’ treatment on a new pair of Mids.  The Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium pictured above differ from the original Highs, in that they feature ice green on the entire upper.  This rich suede finds contrasts in a black leather Swoosh, lining and outsole, while the white midsole adds a mild touch.  These will probably drop sometime next month to US Nike SB accounts, but you can have them now from Arktz.

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III Triple Black + Black/White

If Game 1 of the NBA Playoff matchup between Cleveland and Detroit was any indication, the Palace of Auburn Hills will be as dark as these new kicks very soon.  The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III appears here in two new pairs.  They’re very similar, with the only difference being a little bit of white.  One pair is as dark as it gets in the ‘Triple Black’ colourway, while the other features some white (looks more like grey from here) on the outsole, Swoosh and laces.  Both are likely to drop sometime between now and the beginning of the 2009-10 season, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via NLB.net
