The latest Nike Air Max 1 Premium Quickstrike, a shoe created to celebrate SneakersBR’s second anniversary, looks to a number of different things from Brazil for inspiration on this beautiful Air Max 1 Premium. The shoe’s main inspiration is Pernambuco, a state in Brazil. The shoe keeps true to a number of parts on the original Air Max 1 such as the mesh toebox or suede in the heel. The phrase on the heel written in Portugese is from Chico Science and means “one step ahead and you are no longer in the same place” which is symbollic of what Nike Sportswear represents and how the products that are a part of Nike Sportswear are remixes and recreations of some of Nike’s greatest products in it’s history. The Nike Air Max 1 Premium QK “Lanceiro” is available now at select retailers but will be sold in a special wooden box with other collectible items in June exclusively in Brazil. via SneakersBR

While their collaboration with a magazine named after the fabric is still shrouded in mystery, Nike Sportswear’s Dunk High Nylon continues to roll out in new colours. We got a first look at these back in January, and here are some new pics to tide you over until they release later this year. The Nike Dunk High Nylon Premium appears here in two low-key base colours: silver or black. The silver pair adds a lava red Swoosh and lining to the blue laces for a not-too-patriotic look, while the black joints stand out with yellow laces and a neon green Swoosh. Both are set to drop in Fall 2009, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via HS

Not only is this year’s Zoom LeBron VI model a big hit, but the accompanying Zoom Soldier III seems poised to have a nice run of its own. You’ve probably already seen the black/white/red and “Dunkman” editions, but here are some upcoming Soldier III colorways that will be arriving in a few months. We already previewed the black/camo and white/navy versions, but there are two others new colorways that are making the Zoom Soldier III look pretty sweet. One new model sports a white/turquoise/black color scheme similar to the possible Air Max 93 nod on the Zoom LeBron VI low that we showed you earlier. The other Soldier III features maybe the most stylish touches of all. The shoe flaunts a grey/yellow palette with a large section of Safari print, a speckled midsole and multi-color stitching on the straps. Stay tuned for specific release information as it becomes available. Via Kenlu.

Having already leaked in limited quantities, including a dope White Men Can’t Jump-inspired pair, the Nike Hyperize is building steam towards it’s full rollout for summer and fall of this year. This pair was among the early releases and is set for a July 2009 official drop. Given that you pretty much can’t go wrong with the Chicago Bulls palette, this serves as a safe showcase for the new streamlined Flywire pattern that sets this new model apart from its older brothers. Take a look at all the pictures after the jump and get ready to cop these from Nike Basketball retailers like Foot Locker this summer.

Thanks to the Jams edition, the Converse Skidgrip is officially back on the map. The shoe features a pretty simple design, but with colorways like these, you could never say they are boring. Converse has just released a new Skidgrip model as part of their ongoing Expo Okinawa collection. The shoe features a black toe box with the remainder of the upper covered by a colorful gradient scheme that features warm colors on the outer half of the shoe with cool colors on the inner section. Merging shades of pink, purple and orange cover one half with blue, green and purple on the opposing side. A clean white midsole and laces help to balance out the color overload of the upper. If you are looking for a bold style to show off this spring, you can pick up a pair of these now at Flauge.

Nike’s Zoom LeBron VI model has definitely been one of the more popular installments of the LeBron line and the low model looks like a safe bet to keep the momentum rolling. We’ve already showed you the Zoom LeBron VI Low in green nylon and white/grey, and now we bring you a look at two new colorways that will be hitting stores later this year. Both pairs feature simple color schemes with patent leather on the Swoosh and toe section. One version sports a solid white upper with a red midsole and black outsole. The other borrows its scheme from a classic Nike running model, bearing some striking similarities in color blocking to the Air Max 93. Look for both to hit Nike retailers this fall/winter. The Nike Blazer has a fine tradition of its own, but for this new pack, Nike will be paying tribute to another important piece of history. The legendary Jackie Robinson is honored with three Nike Blazer High models that feature some nods to Jackie and the Brooklyn Dodgers. Three colorways are offered in the pack with solid colored uppers that feature a tonal Brooklyn Dodgers “B” pattern on the side and a Brooklyn tongue label. The most notable attribute of these kicks is a creative shout out to the man himself, using blurred and broken lines around the Swoosh, midsole and heel panel to symbolize the barriers broken by Jackie Robinson. These kicks are not only fresh to look at, but unlike most other sneakers, they have some real meaning behind them. They are hitting stores as we speak in blue, red and dark grey colorways. Available now at proper.

Asics’ classic Gel Lyte III model has made a huge comeback in the last year or so and it’s easy to see why. Aside from its slick appearance, the Gel Lyte III is also an extremely lightweight and comfortable performance running shoe and the super-cool split tongue design provides the icing on the cake. While we have seen numerous colorful versions released recently, this latest model is definitely one of the boldest yet. The shoe uses a very nice color scheme with a white mesh underlay surrounded by gold leather sections and some navy patent panels and accents. The stylish midsole also features sections of white, navy and gold to help to bring it all together. If you are a fan of the Asics Gel Lyte III or if these just made you one, you can get a pair right now on eBay. Via 95Soleman.

Puma is no stranger to collaborations with high-end fashion labels like Alexander McQueen and Sergio Rossi and now this new project with Yves Saint Laurent may be the best of the bunch.
