With so many Jordan hybrid sneakers paying respect to earlier Air Jordan classics, it’s refreshing to see one that references some later models. We’ve already seen the Dub Zero, Spiz-ike, Six Rings and 60 Plus, as well as a couple of other “.5′s” and now it’s the Air Jordan XVI and XVII being combined into one shoe. The Jordan 16.5 features many recognizable attributes of both models although it seems that the design was more heavily influenced by the XVI. The distinguishable eyelets and the toe section of the midsole are obviously nods to the XVII, while the black patent toe and tongue and the heel of the midsole along with the color scheme make the shoe look a lot like the original colorway of the Air Jordan XVI. Hybrid models don’t work out a lot of the time, but this combination seems to come together pretty seamlessly. Look for these to drop this November and stay tuned for more info. Dwyane Wade, a five-time NBA All-Star, 2006 NBA Finals MVP, and also a member of the latest Gold Medal USA Basketball Team from the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, is having arguably his best NBA Season yet and is in the hunt for the MVP trophy. Converse along with Wade have decided to reissue Wade’s first signature shoe, the Converse WADE 1, the same shoe that DWade wore when he led the Miami Heat to their first NBA Championship in 2006. A few updates have been made to the shoe to commemorate Wade’s accomplishments over the years including a “.08″ on the inner heel of the shoe which is symbollic of the two game winning shots Wade hit during that 2006 season. Additionally Wade’s number 3 is featured on the shoelaces’ eyelet and his name is featured on both the heel and tongue of the shoe. The shoe will be available starting on Friday, April 10th, exclusively at Champs Sports.

With the days getting longer and summer approaching, it’s only natural to see more kicks prominently featuring white. This new pair of Nike Air Force 1 Lows is a perfect example, featuring just a touch of neutral grey on the Swoosh and outsole, these joints avoid being plain with a ‘Band Aid’-like perforated side panel. The toe perfs differ from those on the side, opting for the ‘standard’ AF1 pattern. These joints are set to drop next month, but we found a few available early on ebay. Via Kixpress

Last month, we gave you a look at the upcoming Neutral Grey/Green Mist colorway of Nike’s very well-received RT1 model. For those who are big appreciators of the extra-high cut sneaker craze, the RT1 provides a nice alternative to some similar higher priced models. If you missed out or were simply priced out of a pair of Air Yeezy’s, the Nike RT1 is a slightly simpler, but in many ways, just as stylish high top sneaker and you can get a pair for less than half the price of Kanye’s shoe. This version features various shades of grey and several different materials on the upper with some tasteful Green Mist accents. The RT1 sports a perforated tongue and toe box and a Safari print on the heel panel. This colorway is slated for release on May 1st, but you can get a pair early on eBay. Via 95Soleman

A number of sneakerheads especially the Jordan fans were tuned into the Cavs vs. Celtics the other night, when Ray Allen debuted the Air Jordan Element outdoor basketball shoe from Jordan. Brand The Air Jordan Element features some similarities to the Air Jordan XI and XVi with it’s patent leather that is used on the shoe’s toebox and around the upper of the shoe. Look for the Air Jordan Element to be released in the upcoming months and stay tuned for the NBA Feet Playoffs Edition when they start in another week. via Niketalk

Nike has given the Air Max 90 a number of different makeovers and the latest is this Nike Air Max 90 CT TZ shoe, the CT is short for Current, and the TZ of course means Tier Zero. This Air Max 90 CT is not actually the same as the Nike Air Max 90 Current, instead this shoe only borrows the Nike Free inspired outsole and not the AM90 Current upper, hence the name being different. While the shoe has a TZ attached to it’s name, a number of Nike Sportswear Quickstrike accounts are getting this pair that is a part of the Air Max 90 Grid Pack. These are available now at select Nike Sportswear retailers. via Dunk.com.cn

The second Max 90 that is a part of the Nike Air Max 90 Grid Pack is this Air Max 90 Flywire TZ, that is actually an Air Max 90 Current Flywire. The shoe mixes the classic Nike Air Max 90 with the Nike Air Current as well as Nike Free and Nike Flywire technology, the end result is this beautiful hybrid that blends some of Nike’s most recognizable heritage models with it’s newest innovation. These are available at select Nike Quickstrike retailers now. via Dunk.com.cn

It’s very likely a few of our older readers rocked the ‘Bred’ Air Jordan XIs to their high school proms. That shoe drew on Michael Jordan’s impeccible fashion sense, and this new pack in turn borrows from the patent legacy. The Air Jordan 1 Phat Low Premium Tuxedo Prom Pack features this pair and another we’ll show you later today. As you can see, the design is simple: an all black patent leather upper find contrasts in the varsity red sockliner and tongue piping. These feature dressier cord laces rather than the typical flat ones we see in AJ1s and they’re finished off with an icey outsole. Set for a limited release this Saturday, you can make sure you get yours in time for the big dance by copping now from Dunk.com.cn

The Puma R698 has burst back onto the scene thanks to some very nice recent remixes of the classic running model. We’ve already previewed the Solebox collaboration edition and the red/pink/white version that we showed you last week and now two more colorways have surfaced to help this fresh model reclaim a place at the table. One new version of the R698 will be available with a black and grey suede/mesh upper and white highlights. The other Puma R698features a light grey upper with a white mesh toe box and bright orange and light blue accents. If you like what you see, the black/grey/white and grey/orange/blue versions are available now at mita.

The Air Jordan I has been seeing a lot of action lately, with numerous high and low models slated to release in the coming months. This girl’s Air Jordan I Retro High is part of the Icy Pack and is just in time for the nice weather. This colorway features a monochromatic pink color scheme from top to bottom, even down to the midsole and laces. A white tongue label stands out as the only contrasting accent. To add a final stylish touch, a translucent “ice” sole rounds out the slick look of this version. If you missed out on the girl’s Hare Jordan model, you can still rock a bold spring look with these. You can get a pair now in girl’s sizes at atmos.
