With so much attention paid to the Nike Blazer High and Mid these days, it seems like not too much love is being given to the low model. Thanks to a nice color scheme and some stylish touches, this Blazer Low has a good chance of getting some second looks though. The shoe features a black upper with a light brown Swoosh and accents. The toe section, eyelet panel and lining are constructed from smooth black leather with the remainder of the upper made from suede. The defining aspect of these kicks is the midsole, which sports a black maze-like pattern all over the brown base with a gum toe-cap finishing off the sole. This shoe is evidence that the Nike Blazer Low model needs to start popping up more often, but for now, you can cop a pair of these on eBay. Via SucreamUSA.

It’s hard to believe that the New Balance 577 has been around for over twenty years and has never been released in the States. When it was originally designed by New Balance UK back in 1988, the 577 was specifically engineered towards “heavy” runners, and even though it still holds up as a performance model, its stylish look translates nicely into a casual style for today’s sneakerheads. The shoe will finally be hitting the U.S. this spring in three colorways that sport some fashionable new touches. Each shoe features a combination of smooth leather with synthetic croc and snakeskin on various parts of the upper.
Included in the pack will be a black pair with white accents, as well as an opposite edition that’s white with black accents creating almost a negative version of the black shoe. The third colorway sticks with the colorless theme, using a grey and white upper with black accents. The only actual colors that shows up anywhere on the three sneakers are some minimal lime green accents that are used on the tongue and heel of the white pair. At long last, be on the lookout for all three to hit select New Balance stores in the U.S. this spring.

Is there any chance that a Nike ACG model named after a ninja weapon would not be cool? Probably not. We showed you a look at a brightly colored Ashiko Boot back in February and now we bring you some images of this new grey/red/black colorway. As we mentioned earlier, these boots are named after ninja foot spikes used for climbing and traction, as well as for putting holes in their enemies. While the Ashiko Boot may not be built to kill, it certainly is built for performance, using Flywire technology and a sleek high-cut design to ensure that they are lightweight and comfortable. Not only are they highly functional, but they also look pretty fresh too. Plenty of visible Flywire and a translucent mid-panel are but a few of the nice touches that make the Ashiko far more stylish than your average clunky boot. Look for these to hit stores some time during the Holiday ’09 season. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

Virginia’s Oak Hill Academy has been producing elite level basketball talent for quite a while now. With recent alumni like NBA stars Carmelo Anthony, Josh Smith and Rajon Rondo, Oak Hill already had an impressive legacy to flaunt, but now things have gotten even sweeter for the Warriors. Already sponsored by Jordan Brand, Oak Hill players have recently been given a chance to not only test drive, but debut the new Air Jordan 60 Plus on the court. The 60 Plus is the latest Jordan hybrid to surface, and while many of you may have already seen some fuzzy catalog images, this Oak Hill colorway has been kept pretty quiet. The Jordan 60 Plus combines design elements of the Air Jordan II and V, the shoes Michael wore while scoring at least 60 points 3 times between 1986-1987 and again in 1990. Enjoy a look at these kicks in action and stay tuned for more info on the Air Jordan 60 Plus. They are expected to hit stores in the fall, so it will only be a matter of time before some more images start showing up.

As if the opening of Nike’s new TPE 6453 boutique in Taipei wasn’t excitement enough, among the countless points of interest was a brand new Air Yeezy colorway. With the recent drop of everyone’s new favorite Nike model, there seems to be an extra element of buzz surrounding the Air Yeezy’s right now and what better way to add to the madness than to display a new version that most people haven’t seen yet. The latest Air Yeezy to be displayed features a black upper with grey accents on the toe and eyelets and a patent leather strap. Add to that an extra-vibrant Fire Red midsole and the glow-in-the-dark Air Yeezy outsole and you’ve got another sure-fire hit in the making. There is no word yet on when this colorway will be available for retail, but the two other Yeezy models that were on display will ease your anticipation in the meantime. We’ll keep you posted on more from the ongoing Air Yeezy saga as new information becomes available. Via Freshness.

Back in late February, we gave you a preview of an upcoming black/red/white Air Max 90 model that used a gradient coloring effect on the ankle section and now we bring you news of another colorway of the shoe that uses the same technique. This time around, the Air Max 90 sports a Neutral Grey upper with bright Mean Green accents on the Swoosh and heel. A white midsole and laces finish off the look, with the Mean Green to White gradient as the most noticeable attribute. If the color scheme is looking familiar, but you can’t put your finger on it, you might be thinking of the “Dunkman” colorway that has graced several LeBron models over the past few years. It is nice to see the color combo looking so good on a classic running model instead of a baskeball sneaker. These beauties are available right now on eBay. Via SucreamUSA.

If you’ve been reading Sneaker News today, you saw the other two pairs of this pack; here’s the third and final. The Usugrow x Vans Sk8-Hi Pro is very similar to the Sk8-Lows we showed you this morning. They feature the same midsole imprints, side panel embroidery and tongue tag. These throw in a rose embroidered on the lining, a design that repeats itself on the insole and translucent outsole. There’s also a tonal black embroidery on the heel (kudos to anyone who can decipher its meaning). Like the other two pairs, these are available now at Caliroots.

If you have been looking for a way to carry your kicks around in style, Jordan Brand has got you covered. The MJ Quick Bag features plenty of space for your favorite sneakers and looks good doing it. The appearance of the bag is fairly simple, with solid black fabric offset by a simple red Jumpman logo. The polyester/nylon bag features a zipped front pocket and a mesh pocket on the back, as well as an adjustable shoulder strap. The MJ Quick Bag also uses a draw string on the main compartment to make sure that those treasured kicks stay safely inside. Next time you need to take a pair of your kicks on the go, give that ripped plastic shopping bag a rest and throw them in an MJ Quick Bag, available now on eBay. Via SucreamUSA.

Nike’s 6.0 line seems to get unfairly overshadowed by the Nike SB collection, but this model is proof that they have plenty to offer to the arena of skateboarding style. This women’s Blazer Mid is hard to miss with its bold color scheme and combination of materials. The shoe features a Hyper Verde (green) canvas upper, with metallic silver threads weaved throughout to give off a shimmering effect. The green is contrasted by a Rave Pink patent leather Swoosh and laces and a black/grey zebra stripe pattern on the eyelet panels. A white toe section and midsole with a black toe cap finish off the wild look of this Blazer Mid. It might not have an SB label, but if you’re a female fan of the Blazer, these make for an attractive option. You can pick up a pair right now on eBay. Via SucreamUSA.

Nike has an interesting upcoming project with not one but two artists; UK artist, Ben Drury, gives us a preview of this simple but premium Air Max 90 that he is currently working on for another UK artist/rapper/producer, Dizzee Rascal. There isn’t much that we know right now since this is a world exclusive courtesy of Drury, but considering what Drury and Rascal have done in the past in addition to what the Nike Air Max 90 can bring to the table, this collaboration should be nothing short of stellar. via Ben Drury
