LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Max 1 Stages Collection

While the Lunar Everyday runners are seeing a wider release in a white colourway, this pair of LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Max 1s from the ‘Stages’ Collection remains limited to 150 pairs.  With the signature black and yellow contstruction, these joints are immediately reminiscent of Lance Armstrong’s courageous domination of both cancer and the sport of cycling.  It remains to be seen if Lance can overcome the various challenges he’s facing in preparation for the 2009 Tour de France, including a broken collarbone, but folks with US shoe sizes 9, 10 and 10.5 will find it easy to cop these from MentalKicks (but be quick!)

Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid White Black Purple

The Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid has been one of the best hybrid shoes released by Nike, the first colorway has definitely been a huge hit amongst a number of sneakerheads who list the Air Tech Challenge series of Nike shoes as their favorites. Now here is a look at the second colorway of the ATC Hybrid that will be released in the upcoming months. This colorway sticks to a similar color blocking scheme as the first one only to flip the colors a bit to include more Black and Purple. From what it looks like, the Black used on the shoe will be made up of nubuck which is always a favorite. Look for these to hit select Nike Sportswear retailers in the upcoming months. via Sneaker Freaker

Nike Tennis Classic VNTG White/Blue + White/Red

With spring now in full spring, kicks in pastels and white are on the rise.  These new pairs are mostly in the latter category, although one pair features just a touch of Easter Bunny blue.  The Nike Tennis Classic VNTG is set to drop soon in two new classic colourways.  Both in mostly white with yellowed soles and laces, there’s a pair with red accents and the aforementioned, above pictured pair with blue heel tabs.  Both are set to drop on April 25 and you can pre-order from atmos today.

LIVESTRONG x Nike Lunar Everyday White/Black + White/Yellow

Now that the Nike Sportswear-exclusive black pairs have released, we’re set to see a couple different combinations with white uppers.  The LIVESTRONG x Nike Lunar Everyday combines two of Beaverton’s latest running sole technologies into one supportive sneaker.  The mix of Lunarlite foam and flexible Free grooves allows for a lightweight runner that’s comfortable for medium and long distance runs.  There’s a pair with a yellow sole and one with black on the bottom and each features white laces striped with the opposite colour from its sole.  Stick with Sneaker News for more release info.  via HS

ALIFE Everybody High Gum Soles

We saw one of these pairs back in December, but with the wealth of other realeases on tap, these were held back.  Joining the khaki-coloured original are two other ALIFE Everybody Highs in subdued tones.  These joints all feature a mix of ‘normal’ and perforated suede plus leather atop a gum sole.  Each comes with checkered laces and are available now at Huf.

HUSH Nike Blazer High Black Canvas

These are mostly just to drool over, as they’re a 1 of 1 custom.  Worcester, Massachusetts’ own HUSH did up a pair of Nike Blazer Highs, and the result might leave you speechless.  These joints feature an all black canvas design with tonal stitching.  They are balanced by white on the eyelets, midsole, tongue tag and heel tab.  The latter of these and a small tag on the outer side panels display the artist’s name.  An interesting touch is the use of the ‘Prep’ insoles for this pair’s only splash of colour.  Enjoy the pics and maybe you’ll be inspired to produce something striking of your own.  via N-SB.org

UNION NYC x Nike Dunk High Challenge Supreme

This morning UNION NYC quietly released their first Nike collaboration to the public, the UNION NYC x Nike Dunk Hi Challenge Supreme. As you can see from the name of this Dunk and the colors and patterns used, inspiration came from the Nike Air Tech Challenge Hot Lava colorway. Another interesting note is the heel strap which came from the Nike Vandal, on the strap is the collaborative UNION logo. Only 100 pairs of this Dunk has been made and by the time you read this, they have probably been sold out already. Your best bet at this point is to wait for them to show up on ebay.

Ato Matsumoto Haikattosunika White/Black + Black/Black

Ato Matsumoto has released some interesting hightops lately and here’s another new design with a strap similar to the first pair we saw.  The Ato Matsumoto Haikattosunika, or ‘Hiker Sneakers’ look more like AM’s answer to the Nike Air Yeezy than a true hiking boot, but they’re pretty dope despite the misnomer.  With a pair each in white or black, both feature tonal patent laeather on the midfoot strap and black plastic eyelet wings near the toe and ankle.  If you like what you see, cop these now from Rowgage.
