The Nike Zoom Kobe IV, perhaps the most Nike Kobe Bryant signature shoe to date, will see another Quickstrike release in the upcoming months when Nike Basketball releases this “Gold Medal Game” Nike Zoom Kobe IV which features various details commemorating Team USA’s Gold Medal from last year’s 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. The shoe features Kobe’s Team USA number, 10, as well as the date he along with the rest of Team USA took home the Gold Medal, 8.24.08. No word on when these will be released but they are one of the best Kobe IV’s we’ve seen. Stay tuned for release information. via Kenlu

Bobbito Garcia (a.k.a. Kool Bob Love) is well-known as not only a connoisseur of old school kicks, but also as something of a basketball historian as well. Bobbito has been ballin’ for a while now, and after claiming that the Pro Keds Royal Flash were “the best combination of basketball performance and style that Pro-Keds ever made,” the brand decided to bring him in to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the shoe. The Royal Flash will be re-released in four basic colorways with solid suede uppers and white midsoles and as an added bonus, some personal shout outs to Bobbito embroidered on the ankle and the tongue. Check out the “spanish tile” colorway after the jump and be sure to keep an eye out for all four to hit select Pro-Keds retailers this coming fall. Via Bounce.

Fashion designer Matthew Williamson has once again partnered with clothing retailer H&M to design some stylish new looks for the summer. Among the variety of clothing releases will be this eye-catching sneaker. The shoe features a very simple Chuck Taylor-like silhouette with green patent leather that is so shiny that it almost looks iridescent in certain spots in these photos. Aside from the green patent, these kicks also sport a white midsole and white contrast stitching on the upper, as well as a pair of neon green laces. This wild design makes for a nice casual shoe with some bold flavor. You can pick up a pair along with the entire Matthew Williamson summer collection beginning May 14th at worldwide H&M stores. A few weeks back, we gave you a look at the Pink Floyd ‘Animals’ edition of the Chuck Taylor All Star and as much sense as Pink Floyd-inspired Chucks make, the concept couldn’t really be complete without a tribute to their multi-platinum super-classic, “Dark Side of the Moon.” The shoe uses a black canvas upper to recreate the album’s iconic cover art, using printed graphics on the side to capture the rainbow and prism artwork. As an added touch, the shoe also features a black midsole with a white heart monitor line moving its way across the surface. These kicks make a great collector’s item for any Pink Floyd fan and also look pretty cool even if the imagery has no significance to you. Whatever the case may be, if you are interested, you can pick up a pair right now at Caliroots.

Like they did with their timeless Sportshu model, PF Flyers is bringing back another classic reissue from their historic archive. The 1947 Sumfun is returning to stores as part of PF Flyers Archival Reissue line and it’s definitely looking pretty good for a 62 year old design. PF Japan has recreated this classic tennis model and outfitted it with a Posture Foundation midsole for improved comfort. The shoe features a simple, yet stylish canvas upper with a very interesting cut and some detailed foxing on the midsole. The 1947 Sumfun will be released in both natural and black colorways at select retailers this spring. Via Hypebeast.

Orchard Street’s affair with Reebok continues with this strappy new lovechild. The Orchard Street x Reebok Fuze 1.0 appears here in an interesting icey green design. They feature straps in lieu of lower eyelets and the laces begin above the velcro. These same straps are repeated on the heel. This is presumably an aesthetic choice, although it might also aide in the fit. They also look to have a nice patterned lining, but we’ll have to wait for more pics to be sure. These are set to drop this summer, so stick with Sneaker News for more. via HS
