Nike Sportswear and French textile designer, Paule Marrot Editions, have collaborated on two new Nike WMNS Skinny Dunk High Quickstrike shoes. Paule Marrot Editions has been creating textile designs for decades and was loved by the late Jackie Kennedy as well as British royalty. For those of you who are not familiar with the Nike Womens Skinny Dunk, this is a Dunk that was created entirely for the females, the shoe is built on a different last than the Men’s shoe and is slimmer and more suited for a woman’s foot. Nike Sportswear will be releasing this Pink and Black colorway of the WMNS Skinny Dunk High in collaboration with Paule Marrot editions on Saturday, May 2nd at select Nike Sportswear retailers including 21 Mercer and the Montalban.

The Nike Dunk Low CL is back once again in some simple color schemes that boast solid base colors with some vibrant accents. Two new colorways have just become available, one with a Black upper and Electrolime Swoosh and the other with a Baroque Brown upper and a Vivid Pink Swoosh. Both colorways sport clean solid white midsoles, laces and tongues and feature suede uppers with woven mesh constructing the mid-panels and the sections around the ankle. Like they did with their timeless Sportshu model, PF Flyers is bringing back another classic reissue from their historic archive. The 1947 Sumfun is returning to stores as part of PF Flyers Archival Reissue line and it’s definitely looking pretty good for a 62 year old design. PF Japan has recreated this classic tennis model and outfitted it with a Posture Foundation midsole for improved comfort. The shoe features a simple, yet stylish canvas upper with a very interesting cut and some detailed foxing on the midsole. The 1947 Sumfun will be released in both natural and black colorways at select retailers this spring. Via Hypebeast.

Orchard Street’s affair with Reebok continues with this strappy new lovechild. The Orchard Street x Reebok Fuze 1.0 appears here in an interesting icey green design. They feature straps in lieu of lower eyelets and the laces begin above the velcro. These same straps are repeated on the heel. This is presumably an aesthetic choice, although it might also aide in the fit. They also look to have a nice patterned lining, but we’ll have to wait for more pics to be sure. These are set to drop this summer, so stick with Sneaker News for more. via HS

With a dope new edition of the Nike Hypermax evoking its memorable marketing campaign, it was only a matter of time before this model received the retro treatment. The Nike Air Max2 CB 34 appears here in a dope silver-on-white colourway that’s perfect for summer. The delicate colouring is an interesting foil for the shoe’s otherwise rugged design. Among the signature features are the sparse eyelets, balanced by elastic straps that keep the fit snug. Get your ‘Round Mound of Rebound’ on now by copping these from Vault.

We were excited to see a slightly modified version of this classic colourway release in women’s sizes a couple days ago, but it’s even better to have the original in a full sized run. The Nike Air Classic BW in Persian violet dropped in most parts of the world but never hit the United States. This very official colorway has finally started to hit US based retailers, if you have been waiting, start looking for them at US based Nike retailers including Vault.

Converse has recently been making a respectable effort in terms of branching out into the skate shoe game, following Nike’s lead by updating some of their classic models for improved skateability. You may have already seen the white leather Weapon Hi X that we previewed last month and this time around it’s the ERX 300 Hi getting the skate treatment. The shoe features a white on white upper with minimal orange highlights on the CONS tongue label and a matching set of bright orange laces. Some other nice added touches are the embossed ERX 300 logo on the ankle strap and a classic All Star tab on the heel section of the midsole. If you’re feeling these for skating or just hanging out, you can pick up a pair now at Premier.

With the Blazer taking the lead on Nike releases of late, the Dunk is currently occupying an unfamiliar backseat. While we’re not sure of the exact ratio of releases for the future, joints like these are sure to earn the Dunk its share of shine. These joints only have three colours, but still have alot to offer. The white side panels offer a more dense perforations than the similarly coloured toes, while a cris-crossing stitch pattern on the black rear quarter/heel area adds texture. Throw in neon orange accent and these make for an interesting look. Expect them to drop during the Fall 2009 season. via HS

Yesterday, you got a look at a new Nike Blazer SB and a bright new colorway of the SB Classic and we already previewed some other May SB releases last week. Now it’s time for some more May magic from Nike SB. You have probably seen some of these already, but now they have finally begun to hit stores. Along with the fresh Dunk Low and Zoom Harbor are the Ice Green Dunk Mid and the slick black/pink Air Trainer TW II. In the case of the Trainer, it was unknown if these would release in the U.S. or just Asia, so their presence is definitely a nice surprise. All four SB models are available now at Poets. New Balance is definitely known for their vast arsenal of running models, but at one time they made their share of basketball kicks as well. New Balance is reminding sneakerheads of their basketball prowess with the return of the BB730 in two new limited edition colorways. Granted, this is now more of a lifestyle shoe than a performance b-ball sneaker, but it is always nice to have another high-top option, especially from this somewhat unlikely source. The shoe has just dropped in black/purple/white and brown/beige/white colorways and can be found at select New Balance retailers such as Ripe.
