It looks like the latest House of Hoops-exclusive Nikes will be ‘Free’. The Nike Blazer High LE pictured above is inspired by the former Leonard Bernard, aka World B. Free. Featuring a tie-dyed canvas upper with leather accents, these bright kicks hearken back to the 1970′s heyday of one of the NBA’s truly unique players. A nice look for the warm weather, these will drop on Friday, June 12, and only at the Foot Locker House of Hoops locations in NYC, Chicago and LA.

Much to the pleasant surprise of Wendy Lam of nitro:licious, SBTG went ahead and designed a special custom Dunk Low with her and the cutting edge women’s site in mind. The shoes feature a Sawtooth “Poison Ivy” theme with a wild colorway and some nice stylish touches. Appreciators of SBTG are familiar with the Sawtooth graphics on the mudguard, but these kicks go the extra mile with a silver Swoosh, sections of pink animal print, a striped mid panel and aqua highlights on the tongue and heel. There is also a crossed bones logo on the heel and another used as a lace lock. Beside their daring look, the biggest story here is that these are the first ever SBTG customs made in women’s sizes. They will be limited to only 18 pairs from sizes 6 through 9 and will be available for pre-order beginning May 4th at 10 P.M. You can see more photos of the kicks and the video teaser after the jump. Hybrid sneakers tend to polarize. On one hand, many sneakerheads are purists who pay exorbidant sums to collect OG versions even though the retros are nearly identical. On the other hand, a good hybrid can be just like a quality collaboration: they bring together the best of two seemingly disparate worlds. With this new hybrid pictured above, we’ll let you decide if it’s love or hate at first site.
The Nike Air Max Trainer 90 is a hybrid created as Plus 41 worked in collaboration with Cellophane. Its inspirations are clearly found in the Air Max 90′s infrared colourway, while the Air Trainer 1 donates its strap and upper vamp. We’re unsure as to whether theese are set for a wide release, so take a look at the pictures and cross your fingers. via HS

By now, you’ve probably already seen some colorways of the new Nike Zoom FP. The shoe is based around the classic “Fun Police” ad campaign, blending elements of some of the Nike Basketball pro models of the time. Bits and pieces of the Air Garnett III, Jason Kidd’s Zoom Flight V and Tim Hardaway’s Zoom Flight T-Bug have been combined into the Zoom FP. Most of the previous colorways have been based on original color schemes, but this time around, the Zoom FP sports a striking White/Black/Electrolime palette with splattered sections that resemble the Air Tech Challenge lava pattern that was recently used on the Union LA Dunks. These kicks are arriving at select Nike retailers as we speak. Check out some more images after the jump, as well as the original Nike Fun Police commercial. Via ExtraButter.

All reports this winter were that the Nike Foamposite Boot was the perfect companion for rough conditions. Despite the recent warming trend, the Goadome-inspired hybrid (aka ‘Foamdome’) is sure to get alot of attention in this beloved colourway. First seen back in December whilst Wale was performing in Boston, we have new detailed photos of the tank-like treads in eggplant. The deep purple Foamposite upper looks as tasty as ever atop a chunky Air Max sole. No word on their release as of yet, but we expect the Swoosh to save these until cold weather prevails again late this year.

Gucci — no. Luxorious — yes. The latest collaboration in the LIFE Collection is the Standard x DC Shoes Admiral Hightop. Though the mix of suede, leather and canvas in true red plus hunter green laces and insole evokes a certain designer label, these are fully inspired by Atlanta’s own boutique. Anyone who’s ever been to either Standard ATL location will recognize the red from their decor as well as the green used on the turf floor in their new Lenox Square loccation. These joints commemorate that expansion, so we expect them to drop soon. Stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Vans’ new line-up of summer Era models looks to have something for everybody, from the very basic to the slightly bolder. The collection is made up of some simple styles like the grey/off-white and the beige/white with the beige midsole. Three styles use red accents, one shoe with a white upper and red midsole, another with a grey upper with red accents and stitching and a third version with a white base and red piping around the seams. The final summer Era model is a throwback to the classic Vans days, using the iconic checker pattern on a black/grey color scheme with red accents. Look for all these styles to hit select Vans retailers in the near future. Via HighSnobiety.

Coming on the heels of the eye-catching “Hulk” Quickstrike edition that we showed you last week is another fresh new CP3.II colorway. This pair features a more toned down look, but still has an element of style that most basketball models don’t match. This CP3.II is made from multiple materials, including white patent leather as the base of the upper and full-grain leather on the mid section, not to mention all the intricate textures and details that appear on the heel. Maize highlights provide a nice contrast to the basic white and grey foundation, giving this shoe a nice clean look with a subtle dose of flavor. Look for these to hopefully hit the states some time this summer, but you if you can’t wait, get a pair now at FlightSports.

It doesn’t get much more vintage than the Nike Waffle Racer. The style has been around since 1976, and thanks to these new Vintage versions, you can look like you’ve had them since day one. A red/white and green/white version have just been released but if you didn’t know better, you’d think these were found buried in the back of some Mom and Pop stockroom. Both colorways feature nylon and distressed suede uppers with some seriously yellowed midsoles to make sure the stylish Vintage theme is very obvious. If you are a supporter of the old school, be advised that both pairs of this classic style are available now at Atmos.

Another one of Nike Basketball’s classic sneakers has been retroed via Nike Sportswear and made it to select retail shelves this season. This Nike Sky Force High comes back to us in some basic colorways of White/Court Blue, White/Black, White/Varsity Red, and White/Deep Red. The Sky Force High was originally released in the 1980′s and features similar characteristics to other Nike Basketball shoes released during that era, such as the Air Force 1. The Nike Sky Force High is available now in various colors at select Nike Sportswear retailers including 21 Mercer. via Complex
