It’s unclear whether Eddie Cruz’ LA-inspired Dunk Highs were a custom set or if they might be upcoming releases. No matter which is true, we’re set to receive a pair from Beaverton that shares a palette with the ‘University of Sports Celebrities’. The new Nike SB Blazer High pictured above is nicknamed ‘USC’ because of its appropriation of the Trojans’ red and gold. The white midsole and gum rubber outsole will have these stepping out in November alongside the recently revealed ‘Dark Chocolate’ SB Dunk Mid. Stick with Sneaker News for updates. via N-SB.org

The Vans Era’s simple construction makes it one of the best models for simple colour contrasts and mixed fabrics. This newest pack utilizes both to great effect. The Beauty & Youth x Vans Era 80s Pack features three pairs that combine dark courderoy on the toe and heel with a lighter canvas on the midfoot. There’s one pair each in tonal brown, black/white and navy blue/grey. All of them ride white vulcanized rubber soles with a foxing band that matches the darker colour. These are available now at B&Y b&ms in Japan and soon from ZOZOTOWN.

One colorway of the Nike Air Elan Premium that we’ve already previewed is this Grey suede and Metallic Silver colorway which looks extremely premium and comfortable although maybe a bit hard to clean when they get dirty. The upper uses nearly all Grey suede with a bit of Metallic Silver on the shoe’s tongue. These are available now at select Nike Sportswear retailers including Caliroots.

When Vans unveiled their East vs West Pack of Forty-Four Highs back in January, we already knew that the black pair in that pack would be accompanied by a white counterpart. At the time, we believed the white version would release around the time of the black pair’s February drop, but it didn’t go down like that. Instead, the shoe that’s also been referred to as ‘Fremont Hi’ will release at a more appropriate time for white shoes. The Crooks & Castles x Vans Forty-Four Hi will be available next Saturday, June 6th only at the Crooks 8021 flagship in LA. via CtotheJL

Nike made several shoes in honour of Jackie Robinson’s culture-shifting Major League Baseball debut. Just as Jackie did back in 1947, a pack of Blazers ‘broke the colour barrier’ by blurring the lines around that shoe’s Swoosh. Another, more modern look from Beaverton came in the form of a special colourway of the Nike Air Max Griffey Swingman Remix. The Kid’s signature sneaker had Jackie’s special date sewn into the insole, but we didn’t know when or if they were going to release. Without too much buildup, these have been released at select Nike dealers for a bargain price of just $95. Take a look at more pics after the jump and let us know if you find ‘em near you.
