For a race that started off as a plot device in Burt Reynolds’ The Cannonball Run, the Gumball Rally has done pretty well for itself. Perhaps singlehandedly reviving public interest in point-to-point racing, the Gumball has evolved to the point that major celebrities risk life and limb in the race-and-party specticle. This year, Puma released a special edition hightop Speed Cat and outfitted several of their Puma Motorsports cars with the German brand’s signature stripe for their 3000 mile trek. It’s certainly one of the more unique cross-promotions, and judging by the pics you’ll see after the jump, quite a bit of fun as well.

that Lambo in the last picture is just RAW AS HELL…with the chrome paint just makes it look tight…
