Back in the early 90’s all the sneaker companies were working overtime to try to one-up their competitors with the latest in footwear technology. Nike had Air, Reebok had the Pump, Asics had Gel and Converse had React Juice. Puma however, came up with one of the most innovative concepts of them all. The Puma Disc technology was an intriguing idea at the time, and although it never really caught on like some of the other brands’ models, it is still fondly remembered by a ton of sneakerheads. We showed you this black/grey/pink Puma Disc Blaze II back in February, but at the time they were only available in Asia. Now they are finally beginning to hit the states, arriving at select Puma retailers such as MajorDC.
