Nike can be counted on just about every new season to bring us a nice variety of classic Air Max and Nike running models in fresh new colorways. This peek at the fall ’09 lineup is proof that there will be plenty to get excited about in the near future. The upcoming collection features two new colorways of the Air Max 1, one in solid navy and the other spices up the Air Max 1 Safari 87 design with a red mudguard.
There will also be a new Black/Turquoise/White Air Max 90, two new Air Pegasus models and two Air Structure Triax colorways, including one in a striking Black/Persian Violet. Updating some classic designs, the Air Max 1 x Air Trainer 1 model and both a solid red and Hufquake Air Max 90 Current Huarache will join in the fun as well. Yeah, these are OFFICIALLY the worst release of air max in the history of humanity – those safari hybrids leave me slack-jawed in amazement at how thoroughly appalling they are.
“Let’s take two beautifully designed, classic shoes and merge them into one absolute fucking shithouse of a shoe”
“We could market them to the colourblind – or those deficient in taste”
How about just a plain white, mesh-toed AM1 with maybe some subtle colours, for instance a blue swoosh, or perhaps a gum sole? Or do I have to design it all myself and pay through the fucking nose for the privilege?

Well, besides the horrid Safari Max or whatever, the other ones ARE pretty basic and clean with slight accents. Me likey.

epic fail. those air max 1′s are straight barf, seriously.
first 90 hybrids are nice but no bright orange for me.
the 90′s are horrible with that blue midsole, and the structures are okay except for that print.
a whole lot of nothin’ here! more money in my pocket.
