Plexiglass Sneaker Box Customized for Mayor

Most of you are probably well aware of Mayor’s legendary jaw-dropping Air Force 1 collection and for those that don’t know, instead of the original boxes, he stores his kicks in clear plastic containers, a move that makes perfect sense when you consider having to go through 1000+ pairs of kicks to find the ones you’re looking for. Taking this process to the next level of dopeness, Mayor and fellow Air Force 1 aficionado DJ Clark Kent, who received his box at the last Playmakers event, have been presented with personalized plexiglass sneaker boxes that resemble the Nike box blue-print, but are made completely see through so you never have to wonder what’s inside. The boxes are then customized with some personal touches like Mayor’s tag across one whole side of the box. Check out another view after the jump and hopefully we’ll get a peek at Clark Kent’s box and others in the near future. Via TheShoeGame.

Nike Blazer Mid WMNS Bamboo Weave

The Nike Blazer is taking the reins from the Dunk for a while, and sneakerheads are sure to be satisfied with designs like these.  We’ve seen quite a few hemp shoes over the years, but this Nike Blazer Mid Womens selects a bamboo weave for a touch of something novel.  This light brown upper is perfectly contrasted by chlorophyll on the laces, tongue tag and midsole-toe, while white on the Swoosh, toecap and the rest of the midsole adds balance.  The ladies are lucky to have these all to themselves, but anyone with smaller feet can cop these from Nike Sportswear retailers like Standard now.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Via Airmail

With its basic design and blank canvas upper, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star lends itself to a lot of design possibilities and over the years, Converse has explored quite a few of them. The latest concept to hit the Chuck Taylor is an Airmail theme. The shoe uses a white upper for the envelope and then includes the red and blue diagonal stripes that are found along the edges of an Airmail letter. Blue laces and additional red and blue midsole stripes help to get the point across, but just in case you missed it, the words “Via Airmail” are printed vertically down the heel panel. There is no specific word on a release date for these, but they should be hitting select Converse retailers in the near future. Via TheConverseBlog.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High Premier Khaki Hyper Verde Midnight Navy

The Air Jordan 1 has had a big year so far, and with more summer releases lined up, you’d better plan on seeing a bunch more colorways of the classic sneaker before 2009 is over. This time around, the Air Jordan 1 High will be donning a less traditional color scheme, using a solid Khaki suede upper with a tonal canvas twill Swoosh. It appears that simplicity is the theme here, with only minimal accents spread throughout the design. A Midnight Navy tongue label, lining, laces and outsole join a clean white midsole and a Hyper Verde Jumpman logo on the tongue as the only additional touches of color. These Premium kicks are slated for a June 1st release, but several Jordan Brand retailers such as Sneakerhead have them in stock already, so respond accordingly if you are feeling these.

Reebok Insta Pump Fury Courier Pack Fed Ex + DHL
Having already done up the Sir Jams in the colours of the companies most likely to deliver them, Reebok has extended their Courier Pack to the Insta Pump Fury running model.  With UPS and TNT-inspired models possibly (likely?) on the way, we see two inspired by DHL and FedEx.  DHL’s pair features a yellow overlay atop a red underlay and midsole plus a few touches of white.  There’s quite a bit more white on the FedEx kicks, which add purple and orange accents to the mostly white design.  Cop either or both of these now from mita sneakers.

Nike Air Yeezy Net/Net Colorway Preview

The next colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy is just about two weeks away, assuming they will release at the beginning of the month, but some stores have already started to get their shipments in. Revive of Michigan just received the Nike Air Yeezy Net/Net and sent in a nice collection of photos for your viewing pleasure. This third colorway features a smooth net color patent leather midfoot strap instead of the “Y” pattern mid-foot strap found on the previous two releases. Keep your bookmarks tuned to Sneaker News for final release info on the Nike Air Yeezy Net/Net.

Nike Hypermax Tennis Ball Sample Images

Coming off the success of the Hyperdunk, the Nike Hypermax already had a nice buzz around it before the McFly and Tennis Ball versions even emerged, but needless to say, these two wild colorways have sent the anticipation factor through the roof. Here we get some new looks at the Tennis Ball-inspired Hypermax, an all Neon Yellow shoe with white accents and sections of fuzzy tennis ball-like material. The colorway looks super-clean and will be sure to attract attention wherever they go. There is no confirmed release date yet, but these are rumored to be a possible House of Hoops drop this summer. For now, check out some more images of these kicks in action after the jump and be sure to stay tuned for further information on a release. Via TheShoeGame.

Nike Air Max LIVESTRONG Release @ Shoe Gallery Miami

Last week, we gave you a look at the Air Max portion of the LIVESTRONG collection and the highly anticipated kicks finally hit a few fortunate stores this past weekend. Shoe Gallery in Miami was one of the shops to offer the LIVESTRONG Air Max pack and from the looks of it, they went all out to stay true to the theme, incorporating a cool bicycling theme into the LIVESTRONG display. The trademark yellow tone could be found all over the Air Max 1, Air Max 90 and Air 180, as well as on all types of decorative bike parts that were scattered around the store. You can check out some more pics of the LIVESTRONG display and see some of the lucky customers who got themselves a pair. If you are in the Miami area, you might be able to still find a pair left in your size, so be sure to stop by Shoe Gallery. Via the305.

Nike Dunk High + Low Fall 09 Preview
Some interesting new looks are in store for both the Nike Dunk High and Low in the coming months. There will be, at the very least, three Dunk High models and one Dunk Low in the plans for the not too distant future. One new Dunk High features a smooth black leather upper with red accents, a grey tongue and a burgundy twill heel/ankle panel. Another new Dunk High sports a white on white leather upper with yellow accents on the lining, tongue piping and contrast stitching and the black midsole is spiced up with a yellow speckle design.

The third new Dunk High uses a variety of materials for the upper, from the black suede/nylon upper and tongue to the perforated Metallic Silver rear panel and light grey ankle collar. The colorway is finished off by a magenta Swoosh, laces and outsole. The sole Dunk Low model features a white leather upper with sections of white speckles on a black base and some bright yellow laces. All four are expected to hit select Nike retailers for the upcoming fall season, so we’ll keep you posted with release dates. For now, get a closer look at all four after the jump.  Via Sneakers.Fr.
