Not much needs to be said about these. By now, we’re sure that you’re well aware of the upcoming Air Jordan V Toro Bravo Pack, but these new photos capture both colorways from just about every angle possible, including some extreme close-ups on a few of the most notable areas. Unless you have this pack sitting in your living room, you will not get a better look at these until they are released. And speaking of the release, please note that the release date has been changed from May 30th to May 23rd, so if you were counting on that extra week to save funds for these, you’d better come up with a plan B. After a year of one Air Jordan 1 drop after another, it looks like there is no end in sight for the classic model. A new Air Jordan 1 colorway is part of Jordan Brand’s Fall ’09 collection and it’s sporting some new touches never before seen on an Air Jordan model. A few days ago, we showed you a new Air Max 90 model that used a holographic design on the upper, and it appears that there was some scraps left over, because now it will appear on the Air Jordan 1. The shoe features a black on black rich leather upper with a white midsole and a hologram material gracing the Swoosh and the strap. Two lesser known Nike models will be making a comeback with an obvious motivation to turn some heads. Both the Air Elan and Royal Mid will be returning with a luxurious premium makeover. The Royal Mid sports a simple silhouette with some definite similarities to the Air Jordan 1. The shoe will be released in two new colorways, both flaunting a perforated Swoosh and incorporating metallic materials into the design. One version features a clean white upper with a Metallic Gold toe box and tongue, while the other uses an all Metallic Silver upper with a white midsole and laces. The Air Elan is also classed up with a light grey suede upper, perforated Swoosh and a Metallic Silver tongue. For now, these are available at Swedish retailer SixFeetDown, but you know we’ll keep you posted if they’re making their way to the States.

The Air Jordan Force IV joins the Air Jordan Force IX as the most widely accepted Fusion models, and as long as they keep dropping those OG colorways, even the haters should have little to complain about with these. You have probably already seen the White/Cement and Military Blue versions and now another beloved Air Jordan IV colorway will receive the Fusion treatment. The latest Air Jordan Force IV will don the classic Black/Cement Grey/Fire Red color scheme with just about everything but the midsole representing the Air Jordan IV pretty closely. Thankfully, jordan Brand scrapped those early samples and stuck to the original blueprint. Look for these to hit stores in September, but if you can’t wait that long, you can get them early at MarqueeSole.

After the wild Melbourne Air Yeezy release event last week, party-goers knew what they in store for when the coveted kicks arrived in Sydney. Sneakerheads gather in an emptied out store for a good old Air Yeezy appreciation fest. 31 lucky attendees won the chance to purchase a pair of the Zen Grey Air Yeezy’s and another 3 were blessed with a free pair. Neon lights set the mood and the evening’s soundtrack was provided by DJ Echo and Sydney rapper Snob Scrilla with the glowing sole cover Sneaker Freaker everywhere you looked. Those in attendance claim that the all-night Sydney Air Yeezy bash topped Melbourne, but as long as you walked out with a pair of kicks, the rest was just gravy anyway. The follow-up to the iconic Air Force 1 model had a lot to live up to, and although it provides another nice classic basketball silhouette, it never came close to achieving the success of its big brother. That said, in the age of Air Force 1 over-saturation, many sneakerheads might be ready to expand their horizons and give the Air Force II a shot. This new high model definitely warrants a look. This colorway sports a traditional basketball look with some nice retro appeal. The shoe features a clean white leather upper with some navy accents tastefully scattered around on the Swoosh, outsole, tongue piping and the section around the ankle. If you’re open to new things, give the Air Force II High a chance. You can find these now at DrJays.

It’s usually other sneaker companies who follow Nike’s lead, but in the case of the Deuce Mesh, the folks in Beaverton were obviously trying to compete with similar Vans lifestyle models like the Era. Similarities aside, these are hardly a rip-off. The Deuce Mesh is a stylish warm weather sneaker with some personality of its own. As indicated by the name, it features a navy blue mesh upper with white piping around the midsection seam and additional white accents on the Swoosh, laces and midsole. If you’re feeling these for the summer, you can pick up a pair now at colette.

Chris Paul’s second signature shoe from Jordan Brand has been a quiet success. While it may not receive all the hype that some other Air Jordan and Nike Basketball models enjoy, the shoe looks great and has been dropping in one fresh colorway after another. The latest CP3.II version features a crisp White leather upper with Varsity Red accents and a transparent outsole with Metallic Silver speckles. Another item of note is that the intricate graphics that appeared on the heel section of many recent CP3.II models has been left out in favor of a clean white leather surface. Nike has brought back another underappreciated piece from the extensive Air Max arsenal. The Air Max Burst has made its return recently, featuring a smooth leather upper made up of various shades of grey with a distressed leather midpanel overlay. Additional accents come by way of a solid white midsole and red branding on the heel and tongue label, as well as additional red touches on the laces and inside the Air bubble. There are also graphics printed on the insoles, indicating that there is a concept behind the colorway. His Boston Celtics seem to have a thing for playing alot of games in May and June, so it’s only fitting that we’re seeing a new Paul Pierce PE for their away games. The Nike Zoom Sharkley Paul Pierce PE away edition features black patent leather where the home version was white. These are equipped with a white upper midsole, since the black outsole has been swapped for green. As with the other joints, these are available at Foot Locker in Beantown at 779 Dudley St. and 375 Washington St., plus their House of Hoops specialty stores. Pairs are already trickling into the various HoHs and should release at both of the aforementioned Boston locations Friday.
