Manny Pacquiao is now one of the G.O.A.T. in boxing after a second round TKO which sent his opponent Hatton to the canvas, motionless for three minutes for that matter. His Nike Trainer 1 LTD collaboration captures similar authority, selling out at most Westcoast locations almost immediately. We’ve seen a few pictures here and there of them but not yet of the full package which is well designed and deserving of the world champ. Sold in limited numbers on the Westcoast over the weekend so unfortunately most of you will have to hit ebay. Photos via Tranandco

The Vans Mountain Edition has seen some special releases over the past few months, but here’s something a little more low-key. That’s not to say that either of these two new pairs are boring, but as far as colours go, they stick to the basics. We get a pair each in white or black. The black joints have white stitches while the white pair opts for brown. The only splash of colour on either pair is the red Vans logo on the tongue tag. Suitable to match any of your summer steez, you can cop these now from ABC Mart.

The latest from the apparently bottomless Vans Vault is this upcoming Sk8-Hi Standard Issue LX Pack, featuring four new versions of the classic shoe using new materials and colors. The Sk8-Hi has been modified to give the iconic style a new look and the results seem to be fairly successful. The most notable change comes by way of the diagonal panel that appears across the mid-section of the shoe, covering the Vans wavy stripe logo. The shoe also features a fabric rim around the edge of the ankle collar and metal eyelet rings. Two of the upcoming colorways are fairly muted and look like they were built for the cold weather, but the other two feature some vibrant colors and definitely have a fun summertime look to them. Be on the lookout for all four colorways to hit Vans Vault retailers some time this fall. Via freshngood.

Following in the footsteps of The Hundreds and Supreme, realmad HECTIC is the latest streetwear brand to move beyond collaborations to expand its label with new footwear. These new lowtops are quite unique in their choice of material: grey pile fleece. Aside from that, they’re pretty similar to the Vans Era, including a vulcanized rubber honeycomb sole. The main difference here is that the sole eschews a midsole stripe in favour of an all white flavor. You can cop these now from ARKWAX.

While it may not have the following enjoyed by some other classic Nike running models, the Windrunner is an undeniable classic. The shoe was originally released in 1986 and while it has had a few Retro revivals over the years, it has never really caught on as a re-release like some other styles from the Nike archives have. That may be in part to the simplicity of the design, but die-hard Nike running heads appreciate this sleek classic for what it is. This new colorway features a synthetic and nylon mix upper with sections of mesh on the toe box and mid panel. The shoe sports a solid black upper with white accents on the Swoosh and eyelets and an Electrolime outsole for a little flavor boost. If you are a fan of the Windrunner from way back or just appreciate the crisp look of this pair, you can find them now at JDsports.

To celebrate the release of their 15th issue, Sneaker Freaker took it back to their roots, throwing a rowdy launch party in the backroom of Revolver where it all started. The first 70 party-goers received a copy of the magazine and a gift bag that included a pair of kicks from one of the event’s sponsors, such as Nike, Supra, Globe, Osiris and DC Shoes. There were also tons of other great giveaways, including Snkr Frkr t-shirts, G-Shock backpacks filled with goodies and even a Haze x G-Shock watch was given away to a lucky attendee. There were tons of fresh kicks to check out, DJ’s J-Period, Weapon X, Hans DC and M.A.F.I.A. supplied the soundtrack and the drinks were flowing all night, leaving those in attendance eagerly awaiting the next issue’s release and the follow-up bash that will hopefully accompany it.

The New Balance 1500 is among their more elegant running models. It manages a nice balance between high-tech and clean looks. The latest edition is a collaboration with clothing label Almond. The Almond x New Balance 1500 features a multicoloured suede upper with light touches of mesh and patent leather, all atop a gum rubber sole. Since our first look, we see that a pair of blue laces has been added along with the white ones we saw earlier to allow a slight alteration. This near-perfect mix extends the 1500′s brilliant balance into a palette that’s both eye-catching and subtle. Cop these now from mita sneakers.

Atlanta’s own Standard made the most of Saturday’s release of the delicious new pink/black Nike Air Yeezy. With campers setting up temporary residence for up to five days prior outside the Peachtree location, the Standard folks added some meat to the event; literally. They invited the folks who they’d seen day after day to come inside and enjoy a nice breakfast, complete with an Air Yeezy desert. Despite the fact that beautiful weather of late made the wait a bit easier, this is easily one of the friendlier and more creative ways to commemorate the release that we’ve seen. Take a look at some more pics of the event after the jump.
