Frat x Mita x New Balance MT576S Bamboo Rake Grey White Light Purple

Back in March, we showed you a look at the creative collaboration between Japanese sneaker retailer Mita, Tokyo’s Frat creative collective and New Balance. the result of the three way partnership was the glow in the dark MT576S Bamboo Rake edition. Aside from the glowing materials, the shoe also featured some intricate graphics on the tongue and heel, giving it a much bolder look than New Balance shoes are usually known for. Now it appears that another colorway of the style was also made. Although this one doesn’t glow in the dark, it uses the same decorative graphics and is still pretty fresh, using a combination of grey shades with white accents and a light purple lining. Check out some more detailed images after the jump and if you decide that this version is more your style than the first, you can pick up a pair now at SamuraiShop.  Via HighSnobiety.

Nike Womens Air Max 90 Neo Turquoise White

The Nike Air Max 90 usually makes a good canvas for bold colorways and this women’s model is no exception. The shoe features an eye-catching Neo Turquoise/White color scheme that is given an added flavor boost by the inclusion of multiple materials. Most of the upper is constructed of Neo Turquoise patent leather with the toe box, ankle panel and tongue made of Neo Turquoise mesh. White accents are scattered around the shoe on the Swoosh, eyelet panels and side Air Max logo, as well as on the heel and midsole. The White really pops in contrast to the Turquoise and brings nice balance to the overpowering boldness of the upper. Ladies ready to make a wild statement this spring can pick up a pair now at Sneakerhead.

Asics Gel Lyte III Season Spot Pack

The Asics Gel Lyte III has been seeing a lot of action lately, with countless new colorways dropping for the warm weather seasons and now we have three more to show you. These three Gel Lyte III models are from the Asics Season Spot pack and feature a nice variety of colors and new looks for the shoe. All three colorways definitely have their own distinctive looks. The wildest of the bunch features a multi-colored purple/pink/lime green/orange upper over a white mesh underlay. On the second pair, a similar lime green hue shows up again along with black and red accents on a white/grey base with a stylish speckled midsole. The third Gel Lyte III model is the most conservative, using a combination of light brown and black over a grey/white foundation with some minimal red accents added in a few choice spots. Look for all three colorways to hit Mita in the coming weeks.

Nike Terminator Low Basic Patent White Maize + White Purple

Aside from the Heavy Metal Pack, we haven’t seen any lowtop Terminators since the pair back in March that debuted Nike’s new as-yet-unnamed squiggly new pattern.  That’s about to change with these bright new patent leather joints.  These two pairs of Nike Terminator Low Basics feature white leather uppers with patent leather trim on the toebox, eyelets and upper heel.   Both also have the same multicoloured ‘NIKE’ logo on their heels as a pack of hightop Terminators released a short while ago. There’s one pair each in maize or purple, and both are available now on eBay. Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes MSDC Xander 2009 New Photos

Linkin Park and Fort Minor’s Mike Shinoda has been collaborating with DC Shoes for quite a while now.  His latest effort, the Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes MSDC Xander 2009 is a subtle design with tons of well-balanced details.  Gone are the geometrically-patterned side panels, eschewd in favour of more off-white.  This shade mixes well with the beige toebox and green accents throughout.  The most colourful elements are the skull-and-roses insoles and the translucent outsoles.  All of this comes together in a sneaker Shinoda will use to fund a scholarship in his name at his alma mater.  They’ll be available at DC retailers like Standard soon.

Jordan CP3.II White Goldenrod Stealth Black

Though his New Orleans Hornets were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs without much of a fight, Chris Paul’s signature sneaker isn’t done yet.  The Jordan CP3.II appears here in a colourway that is only slightly reminiscent of the Hornets’ palette.  The maize details match New Orleans’ jerseys, but the rest of the shoe could fit mostly anything with its use of white, stealth grey and black.  These are available stateside at select Jordan Brand retailers and on eBay. Nike SB Stefan Janoski Collection Preview

The Stefan Janoski pro model seems to officially be a hit for Nike SB. People are feeling the change of direction in design, using a less traditional skate silhouette in a clever new way. The kicks are also reportedly great for skating in, which is really what it’s all about anyway. We recently showed you a recap of Stefan’s release party and you might have spied some never-before-seen colorways on display at the event. Now we have some additional images of some of the newer versions of the shoe, from the very basic to the extravagantly luxurious.

On the simple side, one version sports a very nice all white look with the exception of the black stripe that lines the top edge of the midsole. Keeping with the solid theme, another pair sports an all black suede upper with a matching black midsole and a tan/light tan model gives us our first look at a two-toned upper on the Stefan Janoski shoe. The two colorways that really jump out though are the black croc skin with gold accents and the brown version with the pony hair upper. There is no word yet on a release date for most of these, but you know that we’ll be keeping you posted. Via HighSnobiety.

Nike Zoom Kobe IV MLK @ House of Hoops

So far, the Zoom Kobe IV has been a very well-received shoe, praised as much for its sleek, stylish design as for its low cut and revolutionary lightweight construction. Much to the delight of countless sneakerheads, one of the most talked-about colorways will finally be released for retail. The “Gold Mamba” edition that Kobe wore on Martin Luther King Day created quite a buzz in the sneaker world with its Laker color scheme, as well as the snake print around the ankle collar and the gradient coloring effect on the toe. Although a retail release was rumored, many of us were beginning to think the day would never come. Now it has been confirmed that this colorway will be released exclusively at House of Hoops this coming Friday, May 8th, so do what you’ve gotta do, because these will likely go fast. Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low SVSM White Green Gold

We’ve been showing you a lot of upcoming Zoom LeBron VI Low colorways, and they seem to have gone from the very basic, like the white/grey version, to the more involved red snakeskin and white/denim versions. Nike will keep the style evolving with another interesting blend of colors and materials on this St. Vincent St. Mary’s version. Nike is giving a nod to LeBron’s old high school stomping grounds with this fresh white/green/gold version. The shoe features nice textural elements on some of the green sections, using a pebbled leather effect to give the shoe an extra touch of flavor. The white leather base and midsole are offset by a metallic gold Swoosh and a classic gum outsole. We are still waiting for a specific release date on these, but it could be sometime in the very near future so stay tuned. Via dunk.com.cn.

Standard x DC Shoes Admiral New Photos
We got a first glance at this inverted-Gucci-coloured collabo last week.  Those pics of the Standard x DC Shoes Admiral showcased the hightop sneakers in a grassy setting, showing off a primary source of inspiration.  Today, we get an up-close look at the green insoles that evoke the astroturf floors at the new Standard shop in Atlanta’s Lenox Square.  We can also see the varying gauges of perforations in the true red leather and suede upper, a colour taken from the goalpost-like in-store hangers.  This pair will drop on Sunday, May 10th only at the Lenox Square location, so be sure to stop by if you’re in or around the ATL.
