Nike 6.0 will release a new vulcanized inspired model in their Fall 2009 Collection, the shoe is called the Braata, and will come in two different colorways in it’s initial season debut. The outsole appears to be a vulcanized outsole but is actually made up of Phylon, a lightweight material, that allows for the shoe to be more flexible and durable while remaining comfortable and offering a sensitivity similar to that of vulcanized outsole. via FRESHNGOOD

Another new Nike Basketball shoe set to drop in the upcoming months is this Nike Zoom Hustle. One of the initial colorways that will be available will be this triple Black colorway that uses both nearly all patent leather on the shoe’s upper with a hint of nubuck. The shoe may have sought some design inspiration from the Nike Hyperflight, the shoe that was made famous via various Nike Basketball commercials a number of years ago. The Nike Zoom Hustle will feature Nike Zoom Air tecnology to give it a smoother ride. Last but not least a “Fresh” logo is debossed in the shoe’s tongue. The Nike Zoom Hustle will be available at select retailers including the House of Hoops and NikeStore.com starting in October of this year. via Slam Online

Their ‘Nautical but Nice’ collaboration with Vans late last year proved Proper’s penchant for high quality work, but this latest teamup takes their picky perfection to a new level. The Proper x Reebok Dual Pump Runner appears above in three clean colourways. Each features PlayDry sweat-wicking sockliners and memory foam. In an interesting twist, the entire upper including all glues are made from synthetic materials, which might represent the world’s first major brand vegan running shoe. These are set to drop later this summer, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via SnkrFrkr

Another colorway of the Air Jordan Force IV (AJF 4) seems to have managed to get out a bit early, this White, Varsity Red, and Black pair is another original colorway of the Air Jordan IV that has been adopted onto the AJF 4 sneaker. While many Jordan loyalists hate the idea of the Air Jordan Fusion Collection, the AJF 4 is one of the better fusions to be released and when original colors are used, the shoe’s don’t look too bad, especially this particular pair. The AJF IV’s will start to be released in the next month or two as a part of the Fall 2009 Collection from Jordan Brand. via 8420Sneaker

It seems like nearly every Nike Air Footscape is some kind of special release and this one is no exception. The latest contribution from Hiroshi Fujiwara, the two new pairs of Nike Air Footscape HFs pictured above opt for a simple take on the shoe with the slanted lacing. There’s one in electrolime with grey, black and white accents, while a mostly black pair has the same grey toe and white midsole, but gets most of its flair from the turquoise heel strap. Both will hit Tier Zero accounts sometime in June. via Sneaker Freaker

We’ve seen plenty of other all-white sneakers for summer already, so it was only a matter of time before this iconic runner joined the fray. The Nike WMNS Air Max 90 pictured above has a 100% chance of getting dirty the first time you wear them, but its clean mix of patent leather and mesh makes you wanna buy several pairs anyway. Add to the fact that they’re brand new but already available at a discount and you can’t go wrong when you cop these today from Sneakerhead.

Plenty of sneakerheads buy multiple pairs of their favourite kicks so that they can wear some, keep some on ice and trade or sell others. But, what about keeping 20-25 pairs on ice?! As the first collaborator on a design that has become an instant classic, the Brooklyn Projects x Supra Skytop paved the way for plenty of dope renditions. It turns out that the LA-based retailer kept a little over a score of these zebra-striped stunners back and are now ready to re-release them. BP is keeping the lid relatively tight on these, as the only way to know exactly when they’ll be ready is by subscribing to their Twitter feed or calling the stores.

Yesterday, you saw the amazing Futura x Nike Dunk High FLOM that was created as a part of the Lance Armstrong x Nike Sportswear LIVESTRONG ‘Stages’ Collection. That sample was available for bid, but both will drop in July to coincide with the annual Tour de France, rebranded as the LIVESTRONG Greatest Hits Pack. Just as Futura’s effort was a reprisal of a legendary collabo from his past, this Mister Cartoon x Nike Air Force 1 offers a black and yellow glimpse at the past inside the present. This time around, the details have been laser-etched, including a spider webbed toe and Los Angeles cityscape plus flowy lines on the side panels. The Swoosh is a smooth gradient from black to yellow that inverts the transition between side and rear panels, while an ‘LA’ embroidery on the rear quarter completes the look. Enjoy more pics after the jump thanks to the fam over at FRESHNESS.

To raise awareness for the global fight against cancer, Nike Sportswear has re designed eight of its most coveted and iconic collaborations from the last decade and will re-release them as part of this exclusive LIVESTRONG Collection. Split into two installments, the first four-shoe pack drops in July during the Tour de France and features what can only be described as ‘holy grails’ of the sneaker scene.
Only one name holds the same revered stature in the sneaker game as Mister Cartoon and that would be East Coast brethren, Futura. A long-term collaborative partner, NY’s Futura has worked with Nike on numerous occasions providing design innovation at every step. For LIVESTRONG, he updated his most desired shoe, the FLOM (aka For the Love Of Money). Originally released by Nike SB and limited to only 24 pairs, the FLOM was gifted to friends leaving collectors yearning all over the world. This July, they’ll get their chance to make amends.
