To raise awareness for the global fight against cancer, Nike Sportswear has re designed eight of its most coveted and iconic collaborations from the last decade and will re-release them as part of this exclusive LIVESTRONG Collection. Split into two installments, the first four-shoe pack drops in July during the Tour de France and features what can only be described as ‘holy grails’ of the sneaker scene.

It only made sense that seminal London streetwear staple, The Hideout, would challenge the status quo when asked. Eschewing the conventional sneaker norms they collaborated on a sophisticated update of the much- loved Air Footscape, the Nike Air Footscape Woven. Using real horse hair for the upper, this neck-breaker quickly garnered several nicknames, the most notable of which was ‘The Hamster’, so named because of its shared appearance. The Air Jordan Force IX (AJF 9) in Black, Varsity Red, and Olive is set to be released this Saturday, May 30th. Detailed photographs of the newest colorway of the Air Jordan IX x Air Force 1 fusion have been revealed. This particular colorway is from the original Air Jordan IX “Light Olive” that was one of the more noticeable colorways of the shoe when it first released just because there hadn’t been a colorway like this on an Air Jordan signature shoe prior to it. While a lot of you out there hate the Air Jordan Fusion Collection, it is nice to see some of the original colorways of the signature Air Jordans again, even if it’s not on the original shoes. via Kenlu

The Louis Vuitton x Kanye West Sneaker Collection will be out very soon, and the Louis Vuitton public relations people are starting to show the collection to prospective buyers. Verbal who is 1/5 of TERIYAKI BOYZ just checked out the collection and got some new photos of the collection including a nice detail that calls out “Kanye West” on gold wrap around the lace tip. For those of you who want them, you’ll have to start saving up now and get on that waiting list! We have been told that the Louis Vuitton x Kanye West Sneaker Collection should out mid-June.

A new colorway of the Nike Flywire Boot from Nike’s ACG category has just been revealed, and this colorway of the Nike Zoom Ashiko Boot, should definitely bring some attention to your feet if you’re spotted in them. The upper of the Flywire Boot comes in a bright Total Orange color with small hints of Black and Anthracite. Nike will be releasing a new Blazer Mid Lite this upcoming month at select Nike Tier Zero retailers in three different colorways including Neon Turquoise, Dark Obsidian, and Neutral Grey. The Nike Blazer Mid Lite features the use of rip-stop nylon on the shoe’s upper and full grain leather for the shoe’s Swoosh. The rip-stop nylon allows for the shoes to be more breathable during the Summer months. All three colorways come on a vulcanized White outsole with a colored stripe. via WARPEDSTORE

The newest Nike Basketball hybrid that is slated for a Fall 2009 release is the Nike Apholution, which is more or less an update to the Nike Alpha Force shoe that Charles Barkley wore when he was still playing for the Philadelphia 76ers. Here is a closer look at the White, Black, and Teal colorway. This particular colorway features the usage of a few different materials including full grain leather, nubuck, as well as some plastic overlays similar to what has been used on past Nike/Jordan sneakers such as the Air Jordan IV. This past Monday, Nike Brazil, put together a party to celebrate the release of the Nike Sportswear Canarinho Collection by Nike Sportswear. The event was held at the Gallery of Rock in San Paulo and the space will also house a pop up store that will offer all of the Canarinho products. Drake, arguably the hottest up and coming rapper in Hip-Hop right now performed this past Tuesday night at S.O.B.’s as a part of the ongoing Hot 97 Whose Next Series. While Drake put on a great show, as he has been doing, he also did it in style with his pair of Red Air Jordan V’s from the Toro Bravo Pack.
