Vans have never been known for their winter durability, but that is something that they are looking to change with the new Switchback model from their upcoming California Collection. The Switchback is a mid-cut boot built to withstand the elements and to look good doing so. For starters, the kicks will be available in two colorways, one in suede and the other in a coated canvas material. The Switchback sports a chunky sole and an inch-long padded collar for added support. Both pairs come with a flat and round set of laces and will be available at select Vans dealers some time this October. Via CultureShoq.
