About one in two million lobsters is blue due to a genetic defect that results in excessive protein production.  Given their rarity and how hard it was to get a pair of Blue Lobsters, the Yellow Lobster might be even rarer.  Appearing in nature at odds of 1 to 30 million, the yellow lobster looks to be the inspiration for Concepts’ latest collaboration with Nike SB.

At Saturday’s launch of the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Blue Lobster’, CNCPTS owner Tarik Hassan was spotted rocking a yellow makeup of the Lobster design.  Rumour has it that these were limited to 36 pairs, with the tiny lot given to friends, family and some lucky folks in line.  Click the jump below to see a video featuring the Yellow Lobster in live action, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for clarification and updates, as this is sure to be a hot topic for a good while.  via NT
