New York’s Hot 97 Radio Station put on their annual Summer Jam concert last night at Giant’s Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey last night and a number of today’s best hip-hop artists graced the stage to perform various songs off past albums or upcoming albums including Fabolous, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Young Jeezy, Jadakiss, Drake, Soulja Boy, Asher Roth, The Dream, T-Pain, Lil’ Kim, Elephant Man (in suspect Air Force 1), and of course Jay-Z. Amongst the various sneakers that were spotted at last night’s Summer Jam were the Nike Air Max 2009′s (Jim Jones), Air Jordan Dub Zero’s in Black and Taxi (Young Jeezy), Nike Air Yeezy’s in Net (Drake), Nike Air Force 1 in a Metallic Gold (Elephant Man), Nike Air Max 1 “Safari” (Swizz Beatz), and the Nike RT1 in Black (Jay-Z).

Ok, imma go ahead and just call ballz on this one… Elephant appears to be wearing fakes. Someone please correct me cuz I’m a Ele phan myself, so it’s a dissapointment to see. The AF1′s he is rocking appear to be an attempt at duplicating the Closing Ceremony Af1′s from the Olympics past. However, the lining and outsole are supposed to be Black. I don’t ever recall there being an AF1 with an all Metallic Gold upper and Metallic Gold midsole besides the Closing Ceremony AF1′s.

LOL hova getting kickbacks from nike for selling RT1′s. Those are def not closing ceremony joint’s, you are right on the black. These dudes are all into kicks however, I would not doubt if Ele dropped $820 on some Bespokes from 21 Mercer. Otherwise, I know plenty of local personalities (radio dj’s ect.) who get some all whites done up custom, its prety common on AF1′s so I would not be that quick to cry phony.

Those aren’t fakes they’re. (somewhat) customs. It’s pretty clear those are painted gold and he has something written on the kicks. That’s his style, everything he has on is custom made. I mean, who would sell that crazy sh*t in stores?

Hov needs to put the red laces in them joints. I got a pair for 30% at FTL. They are a good look with some nice jeans. If they dropped these in the Yeezy colorways, cats would go nuts. LOL

Young Jeezy crushed those Dub Zeros. Drake was looking fresh in the Net/Net Air Yeezys. Jay Z needs a damn haircut and he has worn out his Black/Pink Air Yeezys but he probably has like 4 or 5 pairs. Elephant Man is an idiot and I’m leaving it at that. Jim Jones didn’t have on anything special which is why they only showed one picture of him. And the man who stole the show, non other than Asher Roth, was being himself and got respect just for that.
