Just a few days ago we previewed Jordan Brand Spring 2010 footwear and now thanks to Eddie Cruz and his Twitter account we have a look at a sample of the Air Jordan Spizike in Black, Varsity Red, and Cement. This colorway of the Spizike surprisingly has never been released while a White and Cement pair was when the Spizikes were originally introduced a couple years ago. This looks like one of the better models from the Jordan Brand for Spring 2010. via Eddie Cruz

After winning their 15th NBA Championship, the Los Angeles Lakers took a trip to the Jimmy Kimmel show to discuss their amazing season in addition to a variety of other things. NBA Finals MVP, Kobe Bryant, was seen wearing a pair of the Air Jordan I’s in Black and Varsity Royal. Bryant was accompanied by a number of his Lakers teammates including, Paul Gasol, Derek Fisher, Trevor Ariza, and more. Check out what all of them were wearing after the jump.

After a pretty bizarre, but effective buzz campaign for the Concepts x Nike SB Blue Lobster Dunks, the eagerly awaited kicks finally hit the Concepts store in Boston this past weekend. As expected, there was an impressive crowd since the night before, including plenty of dedicated consumers lined up outside the store. On Saturday, the shoes actually dropped and some fun theatrics were thrown in, such as the shoes being carried in by a crew in orange haz-mat suits. Aside from the excitement of the Blue Lobsters, a pair of Mr. Pacman Dunk SB’s and some Yellow Lobster Dunks were spotted as well. In addition to the Blue Lobster Dunks, Concepts was also selling matching t-shirts and skate decks, so even those who were too late to get a pair of the kicks could still get in on the fun. The Nike Blazer is bangin’ out a bunch of great designs lately, and this one is made for the hardcore Nike fans.  For those living the ‘Swoosh Life’, these new Nike SB Blazer High Premiums are perfect, as that phrase is embroidered on the heel tab of this new pair.  ‘Swoosh Life’ also appears on the insoles, complimenting the subtle mix of white, black, gum and bright red.  Expect these to drop later this summer.  via N-SB.org

About one in two million lobsters is blue due to a genetic defect that results in excessive protein production.  Given their rarity and how hard it was to get a pair of Blue Lobsters, the Yellow Lobster might be even rarer.  Appearing in nature at odds of 1 to 30 million, the yellow lobster looks to be the inspiration for Concepts’ latest collaboration with Nike SB.

At Saturday’s launch of the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Blue Lobster’, CNCPTS owner Tarik Hassan was spotted rocking a yellow makeup of the Lobster design.  Rumour has it that these were limited to 36 pairs, with the tiny lot given to friends, family and some lucky folks in line.  Click the jump below to see a video featuring the Yellow Lobster in live action, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for clarification and updates, as this is sure to be a hot topic for a good while.  via NT

The Nike Trainer TW II has most recently been seen as part of the Nike SB line, but it obviously started as a Nike cross-trainer well before it was adapted into a skate shoe. Now this fresh model will be back as a general release, shedding its SB tag for this latest version. These kicks are inspired by the Godfather of Nike Trainers, Bo Jackson. Like the Air Trainer SC that we showed you last week, this Air Trainer TW II sports a black and metallic silver Raiders color scheme in honor of one of the greatest athletes to ever live. In another tribute to Bo, his pixelated “Tecmo Bo” likeness is featured on the tongue label, a nod to his unstoppable abilities in the Nintendo classic, Tecmo Bowl. The shoe is expected to drop some time in July, so we’ll be sure to keep you up to date on the specific release info. In the meantime, you can get a great look at a bunch of pics after the jump. There are a lot of stories circulating right now regarding the incorrect date printed on the back of the “Draft Day” edition of the Zoom Kobe IV. The first batch to be released featured the date 6.11.96 on the back of the heel, but the day of the draft was actually June 26th, 1996. Nike has corrected the date and although a bunch of “wrong date” versions have already shipped and been sold, a second wave will soon hit stores with the date corrected to read 6.26.96. Only time will tell if the “wrong date” Zoom Kobe IV’s will become a collector’s item, but they are still in stores now, so you might want to grab a pair just in case before they get replaced by the corrected version. In the couple of days since his second signature shoe ended, we’ve seen some surprising variations on Paul Rodriguez’ signature sneakers.  The Nike P-Rod II was supposed to be done, but we just showed you a mashup that has the P-Rod II upper atop a vulcanized rubber outsole.  Pictured above is a new colourway of the Nike SB P-Rod III.  This one offers a simple black on white construction with just a couple touches of red.  Tihs one’s sure to have the P-Rod II lovers back on board.  Stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via Paul’s Twitter

It looks like the Blazer will continue to play a prominent role in the upcoming spring 2010 Nike SB collection. For now, at least two colorways have surfaced and they definitely both have their own charm. One pair sports a very simple solid green suede upper with a perforated Swoosh, a white midsole and laces and some minimal red accents on the tongue label branding. The other new Blazer SB model also features a suede upper, but this time it’s a red and black color scheme with white highlights on the Swoosh, midsole and laces. Both pairs are fairly basic, drawing the attention back to the classic design of the Blazer. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on more spring 2010 Blazer SB news as the release approaches. Here comes the Nike SB Bruin in full force.  So far, all of the releases and previews have offered simple colourways and this one falls in line with that trend.  This one uses the consistently excellent mix of military blue and white, plus a touch of red on the tongue tag.  These should drop stateside soon, and you can grab plus the black/white drop for July, today from arktz & DBA.

Had he grabbed a pair of these, Big Boi never would have had to apologize.  They’re not Atlanta Braves-inspired, but since the Hawks redesigned their logo and team colours a couple years back, this Joe Johnson PE of the Air Jordan VIII (8) do the red, white and blue trick quite nicely.  These also have a healthy helping of grey around the ankle and heel area to add balance.  As with the other crazy PEs we’ve seen today, you can grab these only on eBay.  Photos via ISC
