Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III TB Team Colorways

We just saw an amazing carbon fibre edition of Kobe Bryant’s new secondary sneaker, and here’s a look at some more colourways from LeBron’s.  The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III TB is ready for the fall/winter basketball season in a wide variety of new colourways.  There are five that feature a team colour with white, plus two black pairs: one in black/white and another in triple black.  Take a look at the 20+ pictures we have after the jump and see if any of these match your team’s colours.  via Flightclub.tistory.com

Air Jordan VI (6) Mid TD Cleats Terrell Owens PE

Terrell Owens may have signed with the Buffalo Bills this offseason, but this pair of Jordan Brand cleats commissioned for him while playing for the Dallas Cowboys are where it’s at.  The Air Jordan VI (6) Mid TD cleats pictured above stay true to America’s Team colours, featuring a navy blue suede base atop which a white leather overlay is applied.  The absolutely amazing metallic silver outsole does well to round out the palette.  These are available in TO’s size 14 from eBay.  Photos via ISC

Nike Air Raid Archive Site

Though some have thoughtlessly dismissed it as an imitation of the similarly strapped Air Jordan VIII (8), the Nike Air Raid is known to astute sneakerheads as a legend in its own right.  Reebok had its ‘Blacktop’ collection for outdoor ballin’ in the early ’90s, so Phil Knight commissioned Tinker Hatfield to do up a streetball sneaker for the Swoosh.  The Air Raid dropped in 1992, and was retroed last year, including one that took part in the Urban Jungle Pack.  That version opted for a white upper, inverting the original (pictured above, top-right).  We found a dope little site dedicated to archiving all things Air Raid, so open a new window and point it to Air-Raids.com

Nike Dunk High Pro SB Gucci 2009 QS Holiday 09
(Left) 2005 version, (Right) 2009 version

A few weeks back, images emerged of a Gucci-looking Dunk High Supreme that featured some ostrich skin leather and a gum sole. As happy as people were to see it, it really just made most of them long for the feverishly anticipated Quickstrike re-release of the Nike SB version that much more. To the delight of many, it looks like it’s finally going to happen this winter and here are some sample pics of what the shoe will look like. As you will see, there have been some slight changes made to the ultra-rare 2005 edition.

The 2009 version will feature less fraying around the edges of the denim and also uses a smoother leather on the upper. Also, the new release will sport a fatter tongue, SB laces and a black heel tab instead of a red one. After the jump, you can see some more photos of the 2009 Gucci Dunk SB as well as a side by side comparison with the original. Stay tuned for more info on the release as soon as further details become available but you might want to get your Gucci laces from Starks now before they’re gone. Via Revive.

Air Jordan XII (12) Retro Rising Sun New Images

Yesterday, we finally gave you a look at the eagerly anticipated Rising Sun edition of the Air Jordan XII. The shoe features a White on White upper with a perforation design that creates a sunray look on the White leather. Almost the entire sneaker is predominantly White, but there are some minimal splashes of Black and Varsity Red thrown in to spice things up a bit. These new pics give you a better look at some of the finer details of the shoe like the super-fresh red Rising Sun graphics on the insole. As stated in the previous post, these kicks are not expected to drop until October, so tide yourself over for now by checking out some more images after the jump. Via X-Kicks.

Nike Air Trainer SC Black Grey Holiday 09

Back in the late 80′s and early 90′s, the Nike Air Trainer line was given a big boost by the “Bo Knows” ad campaign. Bo Jackson was one of the most electrifying athletes you could ever watch and as an athlete endorser for Nike, he lent instant credibility to the kicks he sported, not only for his dazzling efforts on the baseball and football field, but for his likable personality and superhuman aura. The Air Trainer SC has since gone on to reach classic status in the sneaker world and with plenty of excitement surrounding their new Trainer 1 model, Nike has decided to re-release the Air Trainer SC this winter in a colorway that’s is still near and dear to Bo. The kicks he made famous will be returning in a crisp Black/Grey color scheme that is obviously influenced by Jackson’s days as an L.A. Raider. You can expect these super-fresh classics to hit shelves some time during the holiday ’09 season. Stay tuned for specific release info and be sure to check out a bunch more pics after the jump. Air Jordan XIII (13) Eddie Jones PE Miami Heat Home

The Air Jordan XII (12) ‘Rising Sun’ is going to be a big hit when it drops in October.  It looks like Jordan Brand already created a similar look for its successor, but these will certainly be harder to secure.  The Air Jordan XIII (13) Eddie Jones PE pictured above features an all white upper, plus just a few touches of red to match his uniforms from a few years back as a member of the Miami Heat.  Unlike the AJXIIs, they don’t have any black, but these do feature a grey carbon fibre plate on the underside.    White hot indeed, you can make an offer for these today on eBay.  Photos via Innovative Shopping Concepts

Nike Kobe Bryant 4 Rings + NBA Championship MVP T Shirts

In recognition of Kobe Bryant’s 4th NBA Championship ring and his MVP performance in the Finals, Nike has created some t-shirts to commemorate the accomplishments. One style features Kobe’s four fingered puppet hand from the recent commercials with a championship ring on each finger and a Nike wristband. The shirt will be available in black in the States and there is a yellow version that will be released exclusively in China. Joining the 4 Rings shirts is a black tee with an MVP design that features the letters MVP printed in metallic gold “Black Mamba” snakeskin with 4 stars underneath to symbolize Kobe’s 4 championships. The final Kobe t-shirt sports a drawing of a champagne cork with Carpe Diem written on the cap in script along with Kobe’s logo and a 4 star design. The Kobe Championship MVP t-shirt collection will be on sale this week at select Nike retailers and will likely be gone fast, so don’t sleep. Via Freshness.

Nike Auto Force 180 Olympic Holiday 2009

The Nike Auto Force 180 has made a big splash of late.  This new pair hearkens back to the OG colourway that put the Air Force 180 on the map back in 1992.  The Nike Auto Force 180 Olympic adds Nike’s signature USA palette of navy blue, red and gold to a white upper.  These don’t feature the OG AF180′s Air bubble, so the speckled gradient frame is gone, but the Blazer-like vulcanized sole does well to ground the early 90′s look in the modern aesthetic.  Expect these during the Holiday 2009 season, so probably October or November.  Click the jump below to see a side-by-side comparison between the Auto Force and AF180.  via Leaders1354

Nike Air Force 1 White Hot Red Black

A new White Air Force 1 from Nike has been released just in time for the Summer months of 2009. This White, Hot Red, and Black Air Force 1 Low features a White base with hints of Black and Hot Red on the shoe’s outsole and heel tab. The heel tab, pictured above, features s splatter-like print that is similar to that of the print used on the Air Tech Challenge “Rebel” colorway that also used Hot Red and Black accented against a White leather base. These AF1′s are available now at select Nike retailers. via Dunk.com.cn

Nike Hyperize Fall 09 Collection

The Nike Hyperize has been getting some good feedback from the sneakerhead community since images first started showing up a few months back and it will be interesting to see how the shoe is received when a slew of new colorways are released. After the huge success of the Hyperdunk, Nike is banking on the Hyperize and Hypermax to keep the momentum rolling. The Hyperize will be released in four new colorways later this summer and moving into the fall. Two versions feature a white base, one with black accents and the other with royal blue touches and some colored Flywire. There will also be a mostly black pair with white highlights and a light grey edition with red accents. All four keep it pretty simple, opting for more of a team basketball look. We’ll keep you posted once the official release info is available and if you really want to play it safe, all four are available for pre-order from Shoe-Planet.

Captain Fin Co. x Vans Sneaker + T Shirt Collection

Vans is no stranger to creative partnerships and now Captain Fin Co. is the latest to help put their touch on some Vans goodies. Captain Fin is known for providing artwork on surfboard fins and now they will bring that surf aesthetic into their project with Vans. The result of the joint endeavor is two new sneakers and two t-shirts, all with a slightly different approach than you see on most Vans kicks and gear. One sneaker model is a maroon mid-cut shoe with a boat shoe-like design and the other is a low model that features a very simple green upper with a white midsole and yellow accents. Two matching t-shirts have also been designed to round out the collection. Look for the Captain Fin x Vans pack to hit select Vans retailers soon and you can check out some more pics after the jump.
