There are a bunch of Safari-printed runners on the way, but this pair still looks great.  The Nike Air Classic BW offers a take on the iconic print only it can, adding it in a thin stripe that encircles the entire shoe.  This serves as an outline for the black strip that includes each side panel’s embedded Swoosh.  On either side of this double stripe is a white upper, while orange appears on the lining, tongue, heel and air bubble to keep things bright.  Expect these sometime later this year to coincide with Nike ACG’s 20th anniversary.  Stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via Colmilludo

Lacoste has teamed up with renowned Japanese retailer, Atmos, to collaborate on some fresh new colorways of the Lacoste Cabestan Vulc Mid. This mid-cut sneaker with a boat shoe design has a fun summertime look and will be available in three different colors. There will be black, blue and green versions of the Cabestan Vulc Mid on their way, all with contrast stitching, colorful eyelet rings and a rainbow colored Lacoste logo on the tongue label. These kicks are expected to be arriving at Atmos in the very near future, so keep your eyes peeled for them if this is the kind of warm weather sneaker option that you’ve been waiting for. Though the Nike Dunk is taking somewhat of a low-key role in the advanced stages of this year, many of the upcoming designs have bright neon pops.  This Nike Dunk Low CL follows that trend, unleashing an interesting colourway on the lowtop silhouette.  Though they might appear black in these and earlier pictures, a closer look (and a glance at Beaverton’s colour code) shows us that this pair is in fact a very dark shade of purple.  The majority of the upper is done in a smooth leather of this shade, while the rear quarter/heel applies a shiny splattered gradient.  To add some flair ot the off-white midsole, these feature an outsole and laces in neon yellow.  Look for them stateside in a couple months or cop a pair today from Dunk.com.cn

The Nike Auto Force 180 combines a Blazer outsole with a Nike Air Force 180 upper, the result is a retro looking basketball shoe that is more suitable for the streets and everyday wear. Nike SB has collaborated with Seattle based music label, Sub Pop, to create this exciting Nike SB Blazer Elite in Zest and White. Sub Pop is a music label that was founded by Bruce Pavitt and Jonathan Poneman in 1986 and is often accredited with popularizing “grunge music”. Sub Pop is also known for signing amazing bands such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, and more. Congratulations to the Los Angeles Lakers on Championship #15 and for Kobe Bryant, Ring #4. With his fourth ring, its safe to say that Kobe is now the leagues best player since MJ unlaced his sneakers. It would also be interesting to note that both Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant won their rings under Coach Phil Jackson, who now has his 10th ring. Of course since this is Sneaker News, its most important to note that Kobe did it once again in his Nike Zoom Kobe IV 61 Points Edition. Congrats again to the Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers!

Rumours have been circulating the sneakerhead community about Air Jordan XII (12) Retro releases for late 2009, and now we have visible proof.  The Air Jordan XII (12) ‘Rising Sun’ takes MJ’s 1996-97 sneaker and amplifies its design.  The trademark stitching is still in place, but Jordan Brand added perforations to the white leather on every other section, creating an enhanced sunray effect.  To ground out this half-perfed tumbled leather, the swooping lower side panels are made of white patent leather.  The only touches of colour appear in the black lining and outsole elements, plus some red on the tongue and heel, as well as the signature metal hook eyelets.  Take a look at these and let us know if you like the perforations.  via Flightclub.tistory.com

With the Nike Hypermax NFW releases so hot of late, it’s only natural to see the shoe that started it all appear sans its signature element.  The Nike Hyperdunk NFW appears above in four new designs that capture the essence of basketball sneakers as streetwear by eschewing the Flywire-equipped side panels in favour of a satiny surface.  There’s one each in cool grey, red, yellow and blue.  Each features a white midsole, Swoosh and laces, while the other accents match the satin.  These are available now from Hoopcity in Korea, so stick with Sneaker News for updates on a stateside release.

We’ve seen Nike use hologram details on a bunch of sneakers this year, but this one is just for those with smaller feet.  The Nike Vantal High GS appears above in an utterly eye-popping design.  If the white leather upper, with its vivid pink piping weren’t enough, these also feature lime green eyelets and lining, plus bright orange laces.  The unquestionable stars of the show, however, are the pearlescent Swoosh and hologram ankle strap that looks to have a lenticular texture.  If you’re looking for crazy sneakers, look no further and cop these today on eBay.  Photos via HighKickz
