The Air Jordan XII (12) ‘Rising Sun’ is going to be a big hit when it drops in October. It looks like Jordan Brand already created a similar look for its successor, but these will certainly be harder to secure. The Air Jordan XIII (13) Eddie Jones PE pictured above features an all white upper, plus just a few touches of red to match his uniforms from a few years back as a member of the Miami Heat. Unlike the AJXIIs, they don’t have any black, but these do feature a grey carbon fibre plate on the underside. White hot indeed, you can make an offer for these today on eBay. In recognition of Kobe Bryant’s 4th NBA Championship ring and his MVP performance in the Finals, Nike has created some t-shirts to commemorate the accomplishments. One style features Kobe’s four fingered puppet hand from the recent commercials with a championship ring on each finger and a Nike wristband. The shirt will be available in black in the States and there is a yellow version that will be released exclusively in China. Joining the 4 Rings shirts is a black tee with an MVP design that features the letters MVP printed in metallic gold “Black Mamba” snakeskin with 4 stars underneath to symbolize Kobe’s 4 championships. The final Kobe t-shirt sports a drawing of a champagne cork with Carpe Diem written on the cap in script along with Kobe’s logo and a 4 star design. The Kobe Championship MVP t-shirt collection will be on sale this week at select Nike retailers and will likely be gone fast, so don’t sleep. Via Freshness.

The Nike Auto Force 180 has made a big splash of late. This new pair hearkens back to the OG colourway that put the Air Force 180 on the map back in 1992. The Nike Auto Force 180 Olympic adds Nike’s signature USA palette of navy blue, red and gold to a white upper. These don’t feature the OG AF180′s Air bubble, so the speckled gradient frame is gone, but the Blazer-like vulcanized sole does well to ground the early 90′s look in the modern aesthetic. Expect these during the Holiday 2009 season, so probably October or November. Click the jump below to see a side-by-side comparison between the Auto Force and AF180. via Leaders1354

The Nike Hyperize has been getting some good feedback from the sneakerhead community since images first started showing up a few months back and it will be interesting to see how the shoe is received when a slew of new colorways are released. After the huge success of the Hyperdunk, Nike is banking on the Hyperize and Hypermax to keep the momentum rolling. The Hyperize will be released in four new colorways later this summer and moving into the fall. Two versions feature a white base, one with black accents and the other with royal blue touches and some colored Flywire. There will also be a mostly black pair with white highlights and a light grey edition with red accents. All four keep it pretty simple, opting for more of a team basketball look. We’ll keep you posted once the official release info is available and if you really want to play it safe, all four are available for pre-order from Shoe-Planet.

Vans is no stranger to creative partnerships and now Captain Fin Co. is the latest to help put their touch on some Vans goodies. Captain Fin is known for providing artwork on surfboard fins and now they will bring that surf aesthetic into their project with Vans. The result of the joint endeavor is two new sneakers and two t-shirts, all with a slightly different approach than you see on most Vans kicks and gear. One sneaker model is a maroon mid-cut shoe with a boat shoe-like design and the other is a low model that features a very simple green upper with a white midsole and yellow accents. Two matching t-shirts have also been designed to round out the collection. Look for the Captain Fin x Vans pack to hit select Vans retailers soon and you can check out some more pics after the jump. There are a bunch of Safari-printed runners on the way, but this pair still looks great. The Nike Air Classic BW offers a take on the iconic print only it can, adding it in a thin stripe that encircles the entire shoe. This serves as an outline for the black strip that includes each side panel’s embedded Swoosh. On either side of this double stripe is a white upper, while orange appears on the lining, tongue, heel and air bubble to keep things bright. Expect these sometime later this year to coincide with Nike ACG’s 20th anniversary. Stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Colmilludo

Lacoste has teamed up with renowned Japanese retailer, Atmos, to collaborate on some fresh new colorways of the Lacoste Cabestan Vulc Mid. This mid-cut sneaker with a boat shoe design has a fun summertime look and will be available in three different colors. There will be black, blue and green versions of the Cabestan Vulc Mid on their way, all with contrast stitching, colorful eyelet rings and a rainbow colored Lacoste logo on the tongue label. Though the Nike Dunk is taking somewhat of a low-key role in the advanced stages of this year, many of the upcoming designs have bright neon pops. This Nike Dunk Low CL follows that trend, unleashing an interesting colourway on the lowtop silhouette. Though they might appear black in these and earlier pictures, a closer look (and a glance at Beaverton’s colour code) shows us that this pair is in fact a very dark shade of purple. The majority of the upper is done in a smooth leather of this shade, while the rear quarter/heel applies a shiny splattered gradient. To add some flair ot the off-white midsole, these feature an outsole and laces in neon yellow. Look for them stateside in a couple months or cop a pair today from Dunk.com.cn
