Nike Auto Force 180 NYC Edition Holiday 09

Earlier today, we showed you a preview of the incredible Air Jordan VIII-inspired Air Hoop Structure and now we get a look at another hybrid model from the upcoming holiday ’09 collection. You may have seen our sneak peek at the Auto Force 180 a few months back. The shoe takes the Air Force 180 design and fuses it together with a vulcanized Blazer midsole. This latest version pays tribute to the Big Apple with a Royal and Orange Mets/Knicks color scheme and a script “NYC” logo on the heel. Like the Air Hoop Structure, these kicks will be available some time later this year. We’ll keep you posted on the release info and you can check out another view of the kicks after the jump. Nike SB Dunk Low Toxic Avenger Gigi Rüf

In Troma’s cult classic The Toxic Avenger, Melvin Ferd is transformed into a hilariously unique superhero of sorts.  It looks like Nike may have decided to reappropriate the role in their street-level adaptation.  It’s unclear whether pro snowboarder Gigi Rüf’s insignia is etched into the wing of the Nike SB ‘Toxic Avenger’ Dunk Low as a sign of things to come, or whether it’s just a welcome gift for the newest member of Nike Snowboarding.  It appears that these are ‘samples’, as the SB-signature stuffed tongue is clearly absent.  Either way, take a look at this pic and compare it to the ones we’ve already seen before after the jump.  Which version do you like better?  via N-SB.org

Paper Air Yeezy + Air Force 1 Sculptures By Filippo Perin

Italian artist, Filippo Perin, is showing his love for fresh kicks with a series of incredible origami sneaker sculptures. The standouts of the bunch have to be the paper Air Yeezy’s in all three highly sought after colorways. In addition to the Yeezy’s, Filippo has also created paper versions of the Air Force 1 Mid and Low. All the sculptures are extremely intricate and the attention to detail can’t be questioned. For a look at a bunch more paper Nikes from Filippo Perrin, keep reading after the jump. Via inqmnd.

Nike Hypermax NFW Tennis Ball Pack

Yesterday, you saw the collection of Nike Hypermaxes set to drop soon, and it appears soon is, well, now.  The Nike Hypermax NFW (non-Flywire) ‘Tennis Ball’ was spotted on store shelves in that earlier post, but now we see them online.  Hong Kong’s RMK Store has the pack of three for pre-order, but it looks like the locals already grabbed up the neon colorway but select sizes of the blue and red colorway are still available. You can also find a select sizes of the pack on ebay. Stick with Sneaker News and we’ll keep you updated on more opportunities to cop these.

Nike Air Yeezy Net/Net on NikeStore.com

In the world of sneakers today there seem to be two classes of enthusiasts: the quick and the dead. Well if you were one of the lucky few “quick” folks baffled by the non-release of the Net/Net Air Yeezy on Friday night, you were certainly online refreshing like a madman last night. Friday night “funny” things occurred on the mysterious link that circulated forums, Zen Grey Yeezys appeared as “out of stock” and rumors that Black/Black Yeezys became available for a few moments coarsed through the internet like a hit of morphine, leaving forum dwellers in a daze: to believe or not believe. Well believe it folks, Friday night Black/Black Yeezys became available and some lucky few with triggers fingers itchier than Dirty Harry copped instantly. But wait, the madness doesn’t stop there! How many people knew that yesterday was Kanye West’s birthday? If you knew that little fan-fact, then you could also assume that Nike had one last trick up their sleeve! Yes indeed Nike seldom dissapoints but always seems to issue disinformation. Although their customer support center denied the release of the Net/Net colorway on NikeStore.com at precisely 10:30 PM PST last night, right about the time Kanye probably began celebrating his super-celebrity born date, the Net/Net Air Yeezys made their appearance on NikeStore. No word on just how many released. But after looking back at the fiasco one thing is for certain: Nike will ALWAYS be sneaky.

Were you lucky enough to grab a pair off Nikestore?

Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium MX iD Black Magic Patent

Last month, Nike Sportswear introduced the Air Force 1 Low Premium MX iD, which put a whole lot more customization options on the table when designing your own pair. Among the new material choices is something that Nike is calling “Black Magic Patent,” a dual tone property leather that features some pretty intriguing attributes. As the kicks are worn and the material stretches, the “magic” effect takes hold, giving the leather a very unique and distinctive look. This material is available exclusively on the Air Force 1 MX and NSW has promised to show us some more pics of the Black Magic Patent once the kicks have been worn, so we can get an appreciation of the before and after status. These options are only available at the New York City, Tokyo and London Nike Sportswear locations, so feel free to make an appointment if you are in the area. For now, you can get some more looks at this cool new leather after the jump.

Air Jordan XIII White Desert Clay Team Red Unreleased Sample

You may have seen the unreleased Air Jordan VII sample that we gave some love to last week and now we have another Air Jordan sample for you that may not be quite as old, but is still definitely worth a look. This time around it’s a never-before-seen Air Jordan XIII colorway that has just surfaced. The shoe features a White toe, tongue and outsole with the rest of the upper decked out with sections of Desert Clay and Team Red. The color combination makes for an interesting look, but it’s not too surprising that these never made it to retail land. This pair is rumored to be floating around on eBay, so good luck if you can find them. Either way, if you’re interested, you can check out some more images of this intriguing sample after the jump. Supra Skytop More for Fall 2009

Supra’s ‘Fall 2009′ have dropped before the leaves are even in full bloom, but that won’t stop them from expanding the list.  This time, it’s more Skytops.  There’s a dope pair in crumpled cobalt blue leather, one in shiny green with a perforated underlay, a weathered kola brown edition that has purple accents, plus the TUF-equipped ‘Black Tape’ model.  These should all be out soon at select Supra retailers.

Air Jordan 1 Flight Mid White Red July 2009

Here’s another mashup from Jordan Brand.  The Air Jordan 1 Flight Mid takes the AJ1 midsole and most of its overall design, but modifies a few things with the Air Jordan IV touch.  The easy to spot AJIV-inspired elements are the eyelets, which are replicated on a heel cap that resembles the IV’s heel tab.  All of this is made up in white and red with a black Jumpman and laces to complete the Chi-town effect. New Balance @ mita sneakers M993 + CM1500 + CM998

Japan’s mita sneakers is the number one shop for exclusive and limited edition New Balance releases.  Today, they unveiled five hotly anticipated drops from everybody’s favourite American-English running label.  First off is the New Balance MR993 Made in the USA Limited Edition.  These joints have a tank of a well-cushioned midsole, and appear in a simple mix of black and tonal greys.  Next up is the CM1500 that we first admired back at January’s Bread & Butter tradeshow.  There’s one pair each in dark yellow and purple, both with white, black and grey trim.  Wrapping up this impressive collection is the CM998.  There’s one in pink and another in a seafoam green we saw gracing both the CW996M and CM670N last month.  You can cop the MR993s, either CM1500 and/or both CM998s today from mita.

Visvim FBT Lattice Blue + Purple + Red

As if the Visvim FBT Lattice weren’t interesting enough, it’s back in some crazy colours.  The ‘collared’ chukka appears above in three new suede versions.  There’s one each in electric blue, violet and red.  Each has a white midsole for a nice summery feel.  You might remember these colours, as they graced a pack of Colette-exclusive Kiefers earlier in the spring.  Should you be so inclined (and sufficiently wealthy), grab a pair or two from Colette.
