Nike 6.0 has certainly stepped up their game. It’s highly unlikely that Beaverton’s ‘other’ action-sports label will overtake the legendary SB division, they’re starting to churn out consistently solid efforts. Enter the new Nike 6.0 Zoom Cush. A cross somewhere between a Dunk and 6.0′s Air Mogan, the Cush is a lowtop model that offers plenty of colouring options. The two pictured above include a simple black, white and blue number, while the grey, blue, yellow and white edition shows the potential for the Cush’s divided side panels and eyelets. These should drop within a few months, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Freshngood

Most basketball fans and sneakerheads already know that Kobe Bryant finished high school in Philadelphia. His Lower Merion HS benefits from dope PEs that leave most other high schools jealous. This latest release isn’t for them, but it still reps the City of Brotherly Love. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV ‘Philly’ comes to us in a dope red, white and blue construction. Most of the upper is blue, and the ankle collar has tonal blue stars made of reflective 3M material. A glimpse inside reveals Kobe’s (8/23/78) birthday printed on the insoles. No word yet on a wide release, but you can grab a limited size run today from Maruqee Sole.

This summer, Nike has returned to its roots when designing many of their Air Force 1 models. By now, we have seen so many colorways and variations of the Air Force 1, that it’s pretty refreshing when we see versions that go back to basics. This Air Force 1 model does just that, taking the classic White on White foundation and spicing it up a bit with some minimal color. For this edition, it’s Orange Blaze being added to the White base, sprinkling a nice dose of color onto the Swoosh, outsole and various branding areas. If you’ve been waiting around for the next clean Air Force 1 to keep it simple, but pack just a touch of color, these kicks are available now at Sneakerhead and make for a nice crisp summertime look.

While his Los Angeles Lakers seem to be well on their way to hoisting a gold trophy, Kobe Bryant’s latest signature shoe is iced out. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV appears above in the ever popular white and metallic silver colourway. These don’t feature an icey translucent midsole, but instead, Kobe’s signature heel plate is done in a grey translucent plastic. These will probably drop stateside in the coming weeks, but for now, you can grab them from Hong Kong’s RMKstore.

Yesterday, we showed you a nice preview of another Air Hoop Structure colorway and now a new version with a very familiar look has just surfaced. When we got one of our first looks at the Air Hoop Structure back in February, we noted some similarities to the Black/Infrared Air Jordan VI, but this version seems to be paying homage to a different Air Jordan classic. The color scheme and heel graphics on these kicks seems to be an obvious homage to the Black/Aqua/Purple Air Jordan VIII. Exact release details on these are still unknown, but they are expected to drop some time later this year. Stay tuned for more info and you can check out another angle of these beauties after the jump. Via Leaders 1354.

Last week, we gave you a look at the Ruff N Tuff Quai 54 edition of the Air Jordan 1 High that has just been released to coincide with the annual French basketball tournament, and now that they are being scooped up, we have some detailed images for you to get a better look at this intriguing model. The shoe features a solid Laser Blue wrinkled leather upper with a Black Swoosh and laces and a White midsole that is covered with Black speckles. These kicks also sport White contrast stitching and a special Quai 54 tongue label and wild print lining. The pattern from the lining also appears beneath the transparent outsole and can be seen clearly along with several other closeup pics after the jump. If these are a must have for you, we hope you are prepared to drop a grip on them, because with availability expected to be rather scarce, these are already fetching a pretty penny on eBay.

So far, the Air Max+ 2009 has been one of the most well-received new Air Max models released in a while. With so much love being devoted to classic and Retro Nike kicks, it’s nice to see that sneakerheads can still recognize a nice new model when it comes along. The Air Max+ 2009 has already dropped in a few colorways and we’ve been eagerly anticipating the next batch. This version features a Grey/Metallic Silver upper with additional Red and Black accents. The color blocking is pretty simple on these, giving the shoe a crisp look with just a touch of boldness. With its lightweight construction, Flywire technology and full-length Air Max sole unit, these kicks do not just look good, but are also one of the most advanced performance runners currently on the market. If you are a fan of this new style, you can get yours at select Nike retailers on or around the weekend of June 20th. Via FootLockerUnlocked.

Always known for their daring fashion sensibilities, Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream have just given us a look at some of the footwear from their upcoming Fall ’09 collection and as expected, there are some pretty interesting offerings within. The inspiration for the latest batch of kicks is said to be from English fox hunting and bird’s eye city views, so you know that these designs will have a unique look. It looks like there will be two new BBC Chukka models in the collection, one with a digital camouflage upper and the other featuring an all-over BBC logo print. There will also be a new high top boot and two Chuck Taylor-esque models that sport some wild all-over prints. The Ice Cream line will be bringing us at least one new green Canvas Waffle Low-Top that is, of course, equipped with the super-cool melting midsole. Look for all of these models and more to begin dropping in July and continue on through December. Thanks to nitro:licious for the shooting these photos exclusively for Sneaker News, also see the entire BBC/Ice Cream Fall 2009 Preview at nitrolicious.com.

In addition to a couple of old dependable favorites, Nike’s Spring 2010 Air Max roster will also bring back a more underappreciated style as well. The Air Max 95 and Air Max 97 are no strangers to Retro releases and will both be released in two colorways. The classic Neon Air Max 95 will be back for another go-around and will be joined by a Grey/Silver/Royal Blue version and the Air Max 97 will be returning in Red/Metallic Silver and solid Black colorways. Joining its more popular Air Max siblings, 2010 will also see a comeback from the Air Max Triax 94 LE in four new colorways, and although it may not have the loyal following of the others, based on these preview pics, these kicks probably have a good shot at a successful return campaign. Stay tuned for more images and specific release info later in the year, and for now, you can check out a bunch more pics after the jump. Via NT.

It seemed like every year, the new signature Air Jordan model would eventually be released in a North Carolina colorway, but more recently that trend is no longer a given. For the Air Jordan 2009, they brought the UNC color scheme back, this time not for retail, but only for a lucky few that actually suited up for the team this year. As if it wasn’t enough to win the NCAA College Basketball Championship back in April, players from the University of Carolina also had the honor of being presented with their own Tar Heel Air Jordan 2009 PE’s. These kicks were made exclusively for players on the team and feature a White upper with Carolina Blue accents and the UNC logo etched into the tongue. The good news is that if your pockets are deep enough, you may be able to get your hands on this super-exclusive pair of size 14′s on eBay. Via SoleSupreme.
