Nike Basketball Spring 2010 Collection

It appears that Nike Basketball has some interesting tricks up their sleeves when it comes to their Spring 2010 basketball collection. We already gave you a look at the return of the Air Flightposite II, but that won’t be the only classic model returning with some new looks. Joining the Flightposite II’s will be the return of the Air Total Max Uptempo in two new colorways and the Air 3, (formerly the Air Garnett III) also in two crisp new versions. Two hybrid styles round out the lineup with the Air Hoop Structure in solid Black and White/Black/Purple and the Auto Flight High in a bold Red edition with Black and Yellow accents. Look for all these styles to begin hitting stores some time next year and be sure to check out some more images after the jump. Via NT.

Alife Rivington Club x Asics Gel Lyte II Summer 2009 Preview

Around this time last summer, the Alife Rivington Club teamed up with Asics to release two colorways of the Gel Lyte III and now the two forces have come back together to put a new spin on another classic Asics running model. After recent collaborations with Nike and Fila, A.R.C. will once again partner with Asics to put their unique touch on two new colorways of the Gel Lyte II. Both pairs look to be fairly conservative in their color schemes, using white/off-white uppers with some subtle splashes of color and of course, both featuring an A.R.C. tag on the heel to denote the partnership. Look for both pairs to drop some time this summer and we’ll be sure to keep you posted on specific release info. Until then, you can check out the second half of this sneak peek after the jump.

Nike Air Flightposite II LE Spring 2010

An often overlooked Nike basketball classic will be making its way back to us as part of the Spring 2010 lineup. The Flightposite II LE, originally released in 2000, will be returning as a Retro release to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The Flightposite II has long been admired for its futuristic look and construction, including the carbon fiber midfoot, zip-up shell and, of course, Nike’s Posite materials. Much to the delight of many sneakerheads, the shoe will be back in two colorways next year. One version will be a Black on Black style, while the other gets a little flashier, combining Black with Metallic Zinc for a a very slick-looking model. You can expect both pairs to be hitting shelves early in 2010 and you know we’ll keep you posted with all the latest news until then. Via NT.

Nike Air Classic BW LE Black Metallic Silver Safari

The Nike Air Classic BW has seen a number of new and OG colorways released lately and now the latest version of the beloved running shoe adds a familiar Nike touch for a little extra flavor boost. The color scheme is fairly simple with a solid Black leather/mesh upper with a White Swoosh and lining and a Metallic Silver midsole and laces, but it’s the tongue that really draws the attention. Like some other Air Max models that have recently borrowed the classic Nike pattern, this Air Classic BW uses a Safari print tongue to give them some extra personality. Look for these to hit Nike Sportswear retailers later this month but you can pre-order a pair now on eBay.

Celebrity Feet Hot 97 Summer Jam

New York’s Hot 97 Radio Station put on their annual Summer Jam concert last night at Giant’s Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey last night and a number of today’s best hip-hop artists graced the stage to perform various songs off past albums or upcoming albums including Fabolous, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Young Jeezy, Jadakiss, Drake, Soulja Boy, Asher Roth, The Dream, T-Pain, Lil’ Kim, Elephant Man (in suspect Air Force 1), and of course Jay-Z. Amongst the various sneakers that were spotted at last night’s Summer Jam were the Nike Air Max 2009′s (Jim Jones), Air Jordan Dub Zero’s in Black and Taxi (Young Jeezy), Nike Air Yeezy’s in Net (Drake), Nike Air Force 1 in a Metallic Gold (Elephant Man), Nike Air Max 1 “Safari” (Swizz Beatz), and the Nike RT1 in Black (Jay-Z).

Nike Hypermax McFly + Tennis Ball + Blue + Red Available

While the Nike Hyperdunk remains one of the top performing on-court kicks and the Hypermax its counterpart for larger players, the later model might turn out to be better remembered for its special colourways.  All of these have been stripped of their lightweight Flywire side panels in favour of more traditional fabrics.  The pair above and another just like it, except in red, both feature suede overlays and what appears to be canvas on the side panels.  You’ll see the red joints after the jump, along with the Tennis Ball and McFly editions, both of which have satiny side panels.  While the hint from HK Kicks is that these are releasing today, we’ve not heard a solid word on a stateside release, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Nike Air Hoop Structure LE White Navy Red
We first started showing you previews of the Nike Air Hoop Structure LE all the way back in January and now they are finally about to drop in the first set of colorways. The shoe that transforms the Nike Air Structure Triax 91 into a stylish basketball shoe got a very warm reception when they were first previewed and this traditional-looking model should make for a nice kickoff for the Air Hoop Structure. This colorway features a White leather upper with a healthy dose of Navy on the underlay and midsole as well as on the tongue and lining. Additional accents come by way of some minimal red highlights on the tongue and heel branding. This Air Hoop Structure is available for pre-order now on eBay and is expected to ship as early as the end of June.

Nike RT1 High Black Azure Dark Grey
The Nike RT1 High had a very nice buzz going for it when it released this spring and now a second round of colors has begun to emerge. The first go -around of the RT1 kept it pretty simple, but the new batch adds a little more flavor to the mix. This version sports a Black nubuck upper with a Dark Grey perforated toe box and additional Azure perforated patent sections on the upper and the tongue. A White Swoosh, midsole and laces round out the color scheme, giving these kicks a very slick look. These are expected to drop late June 2009 but you can pre-order a pair now on ebay.

Supra Suprano Hi Fall 2009

Supra has had good success with the new TK Society model, and the Skytop II is apparently right around the corner, but they haven’t forgotten about their other key designs.  The Supra Suprano Hi will return for Fall 2009 in no fewer than three new colourways.  The one you see above hearkens back to the classic Air Jordan VIII ‘Aqua’ colourway.  There’s another pair in a very Knick-like palette, plus one in grey and seafoam green.  As with all of Supra’s ‘Fall 2009′ releases, they’ll probably drop very soon, so check your local Supra retailer today.
