Earlier this week, we saw one of the dopest Air Jordan VII (7) samples ever crawl out of the woodwork. Here’s an edition of the previous year’s edition that never saw the light of retail. When they released back in 2000, the Air Jordan VI (6) Retro featured a mostly black design, with infrared touches framing the Air bubble, on the heel strap, tongue and lacelock. This sample edition adds the signature red hue to the forefoot midsole as well as the heel’s ‘Nike Air’ logo. Check out the last picture after the jump for a good comparison (the bottom is the ‘original’ retro from 2000). These are already nearing a thousand on eBay, so act fast. via SoleSupreme

July is going to be a big month for the Nike Air Max 1. In addition to the Safari Pack we saw in full earlier today, the new Flywire-equipped Air Maxim 1 ND is set to make a splash. It’s newly translucent upper is much lighter and more supportive than the original AM1, allowing the Maxim to weigh in at a feather-light 10.1 oz. This svelte design is also aided by the new Acespan Mesh that first appeared on last year’s Lunar Racer. Take a look at these enlightening pics after the jump, and get your cash saved up for next month’s running spree. via FRESHNESS

You already know that there are a few beautiful editions of the Nike Air Max 1 Safari Pack set to drop in July, but now there’s another pair. In addition to the dope Premiums we saw a couple weeks back, we saw two other Safari-printed pairs, and now we have another. The latest unveiling is very similar to the purple joints, but they feature blue instead, as well as lightening up the grey portions. Take a look at all four pairs after the jump and check back with us as the release appraoches for more news. via FRESHNESS

We saw these Thursday night on-court, followed by some pictures early Friday. The reaction thusfar has been decidedly positive, so let’s take a closer look. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV Finals Edition is notable for a few reasons. First, they feature the ‘concord’ shade of purple rather than the usual varsity purple, intended to provide some extra energy for this last playoff push. Gold accents like the tongue tag and outsole represent the quest for this year’s Larry O’Brien Trophy, and include the shoe’s most unique feature. In addition to the 61 points he scored at MSG this winter, we see ’399′ reminding us of KB24′s assist total this year, plus plenty of other stats that helped lead the Lakers to the West’s number one seed. Given that these are white, it’s likely we’ll see a darker special edition come game 3 on Monday, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via NiceKicks

Though they were supposed to drop on June 1st exclusively at Urban Outfitters, it now appears that the NYLON Magazine x Nike Sportswear Dunk High Pack will remain a promo. NYLON is set to auction off all five pairs to benefit Proyecto Metero (Project ‘Falling Star’), a charity that strives to improve living conditions for children south of the border. This news is abrupt and mildly disappointing, so stick with Sneaker News and we’ll notify you of any new developments. via Eddie Cruz
Update: The green and the pink colorway of the Nylon Magazine Nike Dunk High is now available at urbanoutfitters.com.

We have recently shown you a number of impressive Bespoke Air Force 1′s that have been created by a variety of sneakerheads and the trend of late has seemed to be Elephant Skin. Here is a nice refreshing edition of the Air Force 1 that somehow manages to look fresh with no Elephant print at all. These kicks use some very interesting material choices like red suede, a denim Swoosh and what appears to be a canvas tongue. Add to that some croc skin on the heel tab and tongue label and some bright orange accents and you have a pretty interesting specimen. The final touches are provided by a transparent white midsole and a gum outsole. You can check out some more pics of these after the jump, and to create your own Bespoke Air Force 1′s, get over to the NSW 21 Mercer store to make an appointment.

Even Superman himself, Dwight Howard, can use a little push in preparation of his first NBA Finals appearance. adidas has decided to help him out with the debut of his new shoe, the TS Commander LT. The shoe is built 6 ounces lighter than the model he had previously been wearing and when you’re lugging around that large 7 foot frame, that can only help at this late juncture of the season. These kicks will not be available for retail until October 1st, but if you’re willing to drop some dough for a good cause, you can get a pair off Dwight’s feet sooner. After each game of the Finals, Dwight will be signing his game-worn kicks and they will then be auctioned for charity at NBA.com. Bidding will start at $1,012 and will run through the end of the NBA Finals, so if you are willing to dig deep, you can take your chances at snatching up an incredible collector’s piece from one of the NBA’s brightest young stars. To help you with your decision, you can check out some more pics of the TS Commander LT after the jump. Via Freshness.

Biology, agriculture, food chemistry. These are among the fields of study typically referred to as ‘life sciences’. What any of them have to do with this new pack remains a mystery, but the name is unique enough to catch your attention. The New Balance M850 Life Sciences Pack consists of two editions of the rugged runner. One features a clean mix of black, orange and powder blue, plus white and grey accents. The other is a bit more toned down, sticking with the white-grey-black theme, but only using yellow for a pop. These are set to ship in July and you can pre-order them today from Hanon.

The Jordan L’Style is the latest nod to Michael’s love for motorsports and the result is a very stylish new model. The L’Style sports a high cut with multiple straps and an interior lacing system underneath. The toe and midsole bear similarities to the Air Jordan 1, but the visible Air unit provides some variety in the design. This pair comes in a luxurious Ginger/Dark Cinder colorway with a large perforated Air Jordan Wings logo across the side of the upper. This edition of the L’Style is expected to hit select Jordan Brand retailers this November, but while you’re waiting, you can check out some more images after the jump. Via FootLockerUnlocked.
