Despite what the ‘official’ seasons might suggest, the hot weather tells us summer is in full effect, so here’s a new delivery of Vans to keep you lookin’ fly for a myriad of outdoor activities.  There are seven new looks here spread across six models.  Pictured above is the new Vans Raglan, a shoe that resembles several of the more traditional chukkas we’re familiar with.  Not to be outdone, there’s a Chukka Lo in navy blue with white stripes, plus the Wallabee-like Rafa Plus.  Also appearing from the Vans Surf collection is the 106 SF in bright red, while a Half Cab uses a similar shade of red for accents on an otherwise black and white design.  Two pairs of white authentics round out the collection, each of which draws its flavor from a rarely seen coloured midsole: one in blue, the other in red.  All of these are available now from Premier.

Gourmet’s summer 2009 collection is in full swing and these might be the cream of that crop.  The Gourmet il Tre appears above in two beautifully rendered ballistic nylon pairs.  There’s one in faded red and another in a steely grey colour.  The ballistic nylon fabric gives both of them a nice brushed metallic look, but yet they still appear soft enough to be made of waxed canvas.  You can cop these today from Gourmet’s e-store.  via freshngood

He and the Lakers thoroughly dominated the Orlando Magic, and though Kobe Bryant scored forty and nearly had a triple-double, the more impressive show may have been on his feet.  Pictured above is the special edition Nike Zoom Kobe IV that ‘the Black Mamba’ wore yesterday and will rock again during Saturday night’s Game 2 of the NBA Finals. The white and purple shoe has gold accents, but what makes this one special is the Sharpie-like scribbles on the ankle collar and toe.  Most notable of these markings is the ’61′ on the outer ankle, commemorating his prolific output at Madison Square Garden earlier this year.  Take a look at the pics after the jump and check back with Sneaker News, because if there’s another special edition ZKIV for the later games, you know we’ll have it.

If the husband and wife team of Kozyndan get along as well together as their illustrations do with these new Pumas, they’ll be together forever.  The Kozyndan x Puma El Rey comes in two editions based on their ‘Londamned’ print.  One is a minimalist affair in black and white, while the other stays true to the green and yellow-heavy original.  Accompanying the shoes in this collection are a series of t-shirts and two track jackets.  The clothing draws inspiration from ‘Londamned’ plus their ‘Veggie Monster’ character.  This interesting collection is available exclusively at Puma stores across the country.

While some sneakerheads have been turning their back on the most popular sneaker of our time, the Air Force 1 by Nike has stood as a test of time, and more recently the colors that Nike has released for Women’s have been as good as the Men’s if not better. This new release of the Nike Women’s Air Force 1 comes in a Premium version that uses a Polka Dot patterned patent leather upper in Black and Swan. One of the more interesting treatments we’ve seen done to the Air Force 1, this will be one of the must have WMNS AF1′s of 2009. Nothing can turn up the heat on a Dunk SB model quite like a great back story and the Wet Floor Dunk certainly has that going for it. Nike campus custodian, Ian Williams, was lucky enough to talk Nike SB into letting him design a Custodian Pack based on some every day janitorial influences. Unfortunately only one of the three models that were designed was selected for production, but that’s still one more shoe than most of us will ever get to design. Ian recently sat down for an interview with Sole Collector to discuss the design process among other things. His kicks will be dropping in fairly limited quantities today at select Nike SB accounts, so support Ian and custodians everywhere with a fresh pair of Wet Floor Dunks. Despite the fact that Nike’s dream matchup for the NBA Finals was unceremoniously interrupted by Orlando’s Magic-al run, no one is likely to forget about LeBron James any time soon.  His impending free agency is probably among the biggest reasons King James will continue to remain in the spotlight even after the NBA Finals end, but these new kicks certainly won’t hurt.  The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III looks fantastic in this new grey edition.  The tiny touches of yellow play second fiddle to Nike’s crazy new reptile pattern.  An interesting addition since our first viewing of this pair, the straps’ stitching has been coloured in black, blue and red for an extra little pop.  These will walk their way atop a speckled midsole and translucent outsole to Nike retailers on July 1st.  Stick with Sneaker News and we’ll be sure to remind you.  via SLAM

Another white and blue pair of these dropped a little while ago, but it wasnt *this* blue.  The Air Jordan Force IX (AJF 9) Low appears above in a very clean white leather construction.  A black midsole offers a nice contrast, but the undeniable star of this show is the Carolina (‘university’) blue on the lining, tongue tag and heel tab.  Take a look at the dozen pictures we have after the jump and let us know if these Fusions are worthy of the Air Jordan legacy.  via Kenlu

The grey version of Supra’s Tie Dye Pack had purple accents, but this latest edition elevates the former supporting colour to a lead role.  In this new Supra Skytop, purple is everywhere except the midsoles.  It’s actually on the midsoles too, in the form of Supra’s signature double stripe.  As for the upper, it’s a marbled mix of purple tones, highlighted by light purple laces with a lining to match, plus violet upper eyelets.  These are available now at Limited EDT.

The Air Jordan Collezione pakages, a/k/a Countdown Packs paired two shoes from the AJ legacy on opposite ends of the age spectrum.  The numbers of the two sneakers combined to equal 23, but this latest Collezione item we see pictured above is only one pair.  The Air Jordan V (5) Collezione were made exclusively for the Jordan Motorsports team.  23 comes into play, albeit in a different way, because that’s how many pairs of these exist.  None were released to the public, but you can cop a pair in US men’s size 10.5 on eBay if you act fast.  Photos via FearlessBimmer
