Not too long ago, we gave you a look at a new Air Force 1 Low model that throws in some inspiration from the classic Air Tech Challenge II. Like the white/black/hot red version we already showed you, this simple Air Force 1 Low also throws in the “Lava” pattern on the upper heel panel. This time, however, it uses a color scheme similar to the Tart and Clay Blue colorway from last year’s Rebel Pack. Other than the heel and tongue label, the shoe sports a simple white on white color scheme on the rest of the upper with additional accents coming by way of a Team Orange outsole and a Black lining. As a result, these kicks flaunt a simple, classic look, with the subtle Lava touch on the heel providing a nice dose of retro flavor. If you are feeling this sneaker, you can pick up a pair for yourself now at JDsports.

Yesterday, we caused a serious stir with our preview pics of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII, and now more photos of the shoe are beginning to emerge. This latest look at the eagerly anticipated shoe seems to do the design more justice than previous images. The Zoom LeBron VI was arguably King James’ most popular shoe yet, so the Nike design team had a daunting task in front of them to try to top it. The jury is still out on most people’s reaction, but so far, the response has been fairly mixed. These new images should help those on the fence to get a better appreciation of the shoe from multiple angles.
This colorway looks to be similar to the white/red model we showed you yesterday, but the woven leather has been replaced with Flywire like the other samples that we’ve seen. This version also uses less red, taking a more minimalist approach to the accents, and thus, letting the lines of the design take center stage. Also of note, since this is the first we are seeing of some new angles of the shoe, you can see the inclusion of the large L23 LeBron logo on the Flywire section of the heel, as well as the full length Air Max sole unit. It is still too early to confirm if this will be the final version, but it’s definitely looking that way. You can see a bunch more great shots of the shoe after the jump and we’ll be sure to keep you posted on the latest Air Max LeBron VII news. Via FlightClub.Tistory.

A few days ago, we gave you a look at a new Nike Hyperdunk model that obviously borrowed its color scheme from the revered Eggplant Air Foamposite, and now another member of the “Posite” family is being repped by the Hyperdunk. Last summer, Nike re-released a Retro version of the stunning Metallic Gold Air Flightposite, one of the boldest looking Nike basketball models of all time. Now the Metallic Gold is making its way onto the Hyperdunk. The upper and midsole feature a healthy dose of Gold right down to the Flywire. Additional sections of the upper are Black with a Silver midsole section adding a nice bit of contrast. There is no word yet on when these will be hitting retailers in the U.S., but MarqueeSole is ahead of the game and already has some in stock.

We saw an Air Jordan Force IV (AJF 4) GS earlier today that was slightly different than the adult version, but this pair is just *different*. The AJF4 appears above in a speckled mix of the primary pigment colours. A white upper and midsole finds contrasts in bright red (vivid pink, to be exact), yellow and blue. All three colours come together atop the white midsole in the form of tiny splashes that tie the look together. These are set to drop on July 4 and you can grab them today from ExtraButter as well as ebay.

Nike Trainer mania is in full effect. With a bunch of limited releases launching the Trainer 1, it’s time to reach into the vaults for one of its forefathers. The Nike Air Trainer III ‘Medicine Ball’ follows a few other nice ATIII releases from earlier this year. The Med Ball joints rock a clean mix of white, navy blue and light brown. Expect these for Fall and check back with Sneaker News for more details. via TSG

Earlier today, we gave you a detailed look at the Red Plum installment of the Nike women’s Air Max 1 Safari pack and now you can get an up close view of another shoe from the collection. This version sports a White leather/mesh base and midsole with a healthy dose of Safari print covering various sections of the upper. Other than the black Safari dots, the only additional accent colors are found on the Glass Blue lining and eyelet holes. While this is definitely one of the more conservative shoes in the pack, they still have plenty of flavor to them. Ladies in search of a subtle, but stylish summer sneaker can find these now on eBay. Safari Print is the hot fabric for Nike Air Max 1 releases of late, and these are the king of the jungle. We just saw an all-purple ladies-only pair, but these tone it down just a bit. Appearing in a royally elegant mix of grand purple, grey and white with just a smidge of yellow, this pair is both attention grabbing and subtle. If you wanna add some retro flair to your life, grab a pair of these today from eBay. Photos via RMKStore

With all of the hype surrounding the new Air Trainer 1 from Nike, this Air Trainer SC in it’s original colorway that is getting ready to be released may have fallen under the radar. A number of sneakerheads will remember these Trainer SC’s from when Bo Jackson wore them in the infamous “Bo Knows” Nike commercials in the 1990′s. This was one of the first shoes that revolutionized the idea of cross training in sports. Look for this colorway to hit select retailers in the upcoming weeks. via Footlocker Unlocked

In a sad note for the night, the King of Pop has passed away after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center on Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles. Beside having the best selling record of all time, in our world, most will remember Michael Jackson teaching Michael Jordan how to dance in the 1992 video for Jam (see below). A sad note for those who grew up listening to MJ and watching the other MJ ball. RIP MJ. (Thanks NK for the reminder)
