Bread & Butter x Asics GT II Salmon & Butter

Concepts and Nike SB insisted that the yellow laces in their ‘Lobster’ series of SB Dunk Low Premiums represents butter.  Just as those (neon) yellow laces might not be the most appetizing colour for butter if it were actually served to you, the ‘butter’ in this collaboration is more of an extension of the theme.  For the Summer Bread & Butter tradeshow going on right now in Berlin, Germany, Asics created a ‘Salmon & Butter’ pair of GT IIs.

Totally unlike them in every way but this one, the ‘Salmon & Butter’ GT IIs take a page from the Nike Terminator High Supreme Directed by Swagger and opt for pink (salmon, really) on the left shoe and white on the right.  Each features the opposite colour on the sockliner and the right shoe has ‘BBBerlin’ embroidered in gold on the outer heel.  300 of these were cooked up, but 200 were given to friends and family at the event, leaving a scant 100 for public release.  We’ll keep you updated when that happens. via HB
