As soon as you saw the late Jean-Michel Basquiat’s ‘take‘ on the Reebok Freestyle and Ex-O-Fit High, you knew any future work inspired by his brilliant career would be just as outrageous. Pictured above is his design for the Reebok Pump Omni Lite. These are all white with black pen-like scrawlings strewn about. The tongue’s Pump features Basquiat’s crown emblem, while the heels feature another crown (on the left) and a sentence we can’t quite make out (on the right). It all looks good atop a gum rubber outsole, so we’ll be sure to let you know when these drop. via HB

I dunno bout this…a sneaker company comes to an artist for a collab and all he can come up with is an all white kick with his logo, some words on it and nothing special in terms of material?? At least he’s got the gum sole. /boggle

Yo.. Eps.. you’re an ignorant idiot. Go look up Jean Michel Basquiat. Basquiat is the shit. Guessing you have no clue who Wharhol is too…
And just in case you don’t take the time to look him up, he’s not alive anymore bud. Read a book.

Sorry eps.. Just read the article too. Apparantly whoever wrote this is an even bigger idiot and has absolutely no clue who he is writing about. Come on sneakersnooze..

I am *big*
However needlessly arrogant your comment, I’m glad you made it, cos looking thru Basquiat’s work, he was great.
