We saw Gentry Humphrey’s exclusive white-on-black Air Jordan IXs at last week’s Quai 54 streetball tourney in Paris. Some know-it-alls were quick to suggest the dreaded ‘V’ word, but wiser folks gently told them that Gentry might even have more Jays than MJ himself. Here’s photographic evidence to support that. ‘Category Business Director’ at Jordan Brand, Humphrey has his hands on more samples and exclusive colourways than you could even imagine. I was bouta say the same thing as about 5 of you. How can you be impressed with an executive working for Jordan Brand’s sneaker collection? I imagine he wears the size 9 sample size or around it and he also basically runs a large majority of Jordan Brand itself. Would you expect him not to have a sick sneaker collection when he hordes pairs in droves for himself anyway and has blatantly mentioned he’d rather not retro OGs in their original form so he can retain the value of his collection? Like Being impressed with Gentry’s collections of Jordan’s would be like being impressed with Michael Jordan’s Collection of Jordans.
