One of the standout pieces of Onitsuka Tiger’s new Fall/Winter 2009 collection is this very interesting Tsunahiki model. The shoe blends a couple of different looks into one shoe, making it a hybrid of sorts. The cut of the upper is similar to a chukka, but the outsole looks like something you might find on a pair of old hunting or snow boots and in between the two is a strip of stitched leather that almost resembles a moccasin. For starters, the shoe will be available in three different colorways, all with drastically different appearances. One pair uses a black suede upper with an off-white outsole and a pink plaid toe box. The second Tsunahiki colorway keeps it super-clean with a white on white look and the third version classes it up with a dressy brown leather upper. If this creative new style is up your alley, you can find all three now at Gettry.
