By now, you’re probably well aware of the Jones Beach edition of the Air Force 1 that made a lot of news a few weeks back. The shoe is constructed from a combination of high-quality materials with some nice touches of Jones Beach flavor like the shape of Long Island on the insoles and outsoles. Originally released in limited quantities to select spots in Long Island, the kicks have just hit NYC with a recent shipment that arrived at the Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer store. As with the first batch that dropped, these will no doubt go quick, so if you’re in the area, it might be worth your while to check if they’ve got any left. You can get a closer look at some of the finer details of this fresh summer release after the jump.
Color: Birch/Sail-Stone-Soft Blue

I wish Nike would make a Los Angeles-based canvas version of these. You know, like a Venice Beach canvas AF1, or a Hollywood canvas AF1 with a silhouette of the Hollywood Hills with the Hollywood sign, or a downtown L.A. canvas AF1 with a silhouette of the Los Angeles skyline.
