Quickstrikes can be a love-hate sort of arrangement. On one hand, sneakerheads love limited edition kicks and waiting in line and/or pulling strings can be fun. On the other hand, what if you don’t get what you’re after (gasp!)? With release set for Saturday, we’re seeing the Atlantic blue Nike Air Penny II Retro QS already available. These new photos reveal that the outsole is in fact the same barely-translucent blue that appeared on the 1996 original, a welcome clarification indeed. I copped a pair last week but was sort of disappointed b/c they made the tounge thinner and flimsy. I miss the fatty tounge….
