Hiroshi Fujiwara certainly gets around. When he isn’t whipping up creations for fragment design, you might find him collaborating with Nike or hanging with his new friend Kobe Bryant. Hiroshi was on hand to meet up with the Black Mamba during his recent tour of Asia, but also made time to sit down with Nike’s Fraser Cooke to discuss his latest Nike project, a premium Zoom Air version of the classic Nike All-Court model. Keep reading after the jump for a look at Fujiwara’s latest Nike kicks and his recent run in with Kobe. Via Hypebeast/Kenlu.

Taka Hayashi’s Native American-inspired Vans pack rolls on. The Vans Vault Akat LX comes to us in two brown designs. The first is a lighter shade with white stiching that we fully expected. Another offers a slightly darker chocolate brown leather and is held together with tonal stitches. Both have a strip of triangular perforations that grow as they reach toward the heel, a unique look that’s like nothing we’ve seen. Set yourself apart by grabbing these from Bows and Arrows.

With the Nike Air Trainer renaissance in full effect, last month we gave you a look at a Bo Jackson-inspired Air Trainer TW II that features some clever touches. The shoe sports a Black nubuck upper with a patent leather strap and a textured Metallic Silver pattern covering the heel panel. Additional accents are provided by some splashes of White, Grey and Silver, but the major selling point, aside from the slick Raiders color scheme, is the Tecmo Bo illustration on the tongue label. As many of you might remember, Bo Jackson was nearly unstoppable in the classic Tecmo Bowl video game, so a pixelated rendering of his character has been included in the design as a tribute. For fans of Bo or the Air Trainer II, these are practically a must-have, so if you fall into either one of those categories, you can scoop up a pair now on eBay. Photos: 95Soleman.

Converse continually finds ways to put some new spins on their classic Chuck Taylor All-Star model. This time around, Converse has decided to go with a quilted look, using a thicker material on the uppers with tonal quilt-style stitching covering the shoe. There will be three colorways available in this style, red, orange and black, each with tonal uppers and laces and a classic white midsole. If you’re a fan of the All-Star, all three versions can be found now at select Converse retailers. Via TSG.

If you weren’t already aware, the LIVESTRONG edition of the Busy P Air Force 1 will be hitting select retailers tomorrow. After already releasing the Mister Cartoon Air Force 1, the Futura-designed FLOM Dunk and the Hamster Air Footscape, it’s time for the Busy P’s to shine for a good cause. The design and graphics of the shoe stay true to the original Busy P Air Force 1, with the obvious exception of the color. As you would expect, the rainbow colors of the original have been replaced with the trademark Black/Varsity Maize LIVESTRONG color scheme, but the midsole still features the gradient effect that helped these kicks to stand out so much their first time around. As stated previously, these will hit stores tomorrow, July 25th, a day before the Tour de France wraps up for the year. Keep reading after the jump for more detailed images of the shoe and a list of the retailers that will have them in stock. Via sneakersnstuff.

Last week, we gave you a sneak peek at an upcoming Dunk High model that sports a silver Vandal-esque nylon upper and now it appears that they will not be alone in the Nike Fall 2009 collection. Two additional nylon colorways of what Nike is calling the Dunk Vandal Premium will also be on the way to retailers soon. One pair features a solid Black upper and midsole with Green Spark accents and a set of Zitron laces. The other colorway uses a Midnight Navy base with touches of New Magenta and Total Orange. As mentioned before, both of these Dunk Vandal Premiums, as well as the Silver/Blue/Red pair, will be coming to select Nike accounts soon, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

Originally, this shoe was known as the Nike Zoom Flight V and was worn by Jason Kidd during some of his early NBA days. Now that Kidd is no longer with Nike, they are re-releasing a Retro version of the shoe, but have changed the name to the Zoom Uptempo V, which seems strange considering that Kidd’s name was not used for the original model name. No matter the reason for the switch, the classic shoe has been released as an Asia exclusive in this Black/Royal/White/Green colorway that definitely sports a Dallas Mavericks feel. If you are excited to see the return of this intriguing throwback, you will only find them at select Asian retailers such as Kix-Files.

The Nike Air Mariah was originally introduced in 1980 and at the time, was the first Nike shoe to feature full-length Air. The Air Mariah was so lightweight and responsive, that it stayed a part of the Nike running lineup into the 1990′s. In an attempt to update the classic style with some of today’s most innovative sneaker technology, Nike has created the Lunar Mariah. The shoe features a Lunar Foam sole and no-sew construction to help it to become one of the most comfortable and lightweight running shoes that Nike has ever made. In addition to the impressive performance aspects, the Lunar Mariah also offers a very sleek look that holds onto some classic Air Mariah aesthetics, but reinterprets the design into something a little more contemporary.
For starters, there will be three colorways, each using a solid Black upper with differing accent and midsole colors. It looks like the Black/White and Black/Royal versions will be limited edition releases at only a handful of European Nike retailers, but the Black/Hot Red colorway will be more widely available in the States. Keep an eye out for the Lunar Mariah dropping soon at select Nike Sportswear retailers, and you can check out a closer look at all three after the jump.

Nowadays, new Air Force 1 Mid colorways seem to be few and far between. The Mid model still pops up from time to time, but not nearly as much as it used to. The Air Force 1 Mid has always been a polarizing topic, with many Air Force 1 die-hards claiming that the Mid has no place alongside the High and Low models in the Air Force 1 family. That said, there are still a lot of sneakerheads out there who have been longing for some new Mids and this pair looks to be worth the wait. These kicks sport a Black canvas upper with a Varsity Maize tongue and accents. Some nice stylish touches are then added like the seamless edges of the upper and the quilted stitching on the mid panel and the ankle strap. If you are an Air Force 1 Mid supporter, be advised that this fresh new version has just hit eBay, so you can get yourself a pair now. Photos: 95Soleman.

By now, you have probably already seen some of the new and upcoming Nike Zoom Alpholution releases, with the Cobra Commander edition, of course, being the most memorable. Four colorways have just hit Nikestore, providing several different looks for the shoe depending on your personal preference. On the conservative side, there is a Black on Black version and a White/Insignia Blue pair, but if you’re looking for a little more flavor, the other two are a little bolder. One pair uses a Varsity Red upper with Black accents and several sections of Safari print. The other has a bit of a Barkley feel to it thanks to a Black upper with Varsity Red and Royal accents. If you’re feeling the Alpholution, all four are available now at Nikestore.
