More than 30 years since it was first released, the Nike Bruin is enjoying new life as a part of the Nike SB line. The classic model has been outfitted with Zoom Air and some other updates to make the shoe more durable for skating. One of the latest versions to emerge is this simple black suede edition that features a white Swoosh, midsole and lining. A hint of blue is also included on the Nike SB tongue branding, helping to add a little something extra to the otherwise basic color scheme. If you’re a fan of the Zoom Bruin SB, you can find these kicks now at select SB retailers such as Arktz.

With the Nike Dynasty High set for a big comeback, could there be any better name to collaborate with than Japan’s Mighty Crown? Pictured above is the Mighty Crown x Nike Sportswear Dynasty High Premium. This design has alot going on without being over the top, thanks in large part to its all black upper. Then again, the upper is made of a combination of perforated leather and faux croc skin, plus a section with gold speckling on the mid ankle. This gold transfers over to the studded strap that hearkens back to this year’s Heavy Metal Pack. Toss in a crown insignia on the extended tongue tag and these are complete. We expect these to drop some time around Mighty Crown’s participation in the 15th Yokohama Raggae Festival’s on September 5th, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Although there’s still a lot of controversy surrounding Lebron James and the infamous dunk that is hindering his reputation, the King still seems to be enjoying himself as he was spotted out in Los Angeles leaving one of the best clubs in Hollywood, MyHouse. The reigning regular season NBA MVP was also seen wearing a pair of fresh Nike Air Griffey Max 1′s in the Fresh Water colorway that was released earlier this year. The shoes are hot, but we want to know what’s up with Lebron’s camo man-pri’s?

There are a few holidays each year in which various sneaker companies release a special shoe or pack of shoes to celebrate the holiday and festivities. One of those holidays happens to be Halloween, a holiday in which Nike has created a number of special products to celebrate the day in the past. This year, Nike will release this “Savage Beast” Air Force 1 Low that features an upper completely covered in Orange Pony Hair. The Swoosh on the shoe comes in White and aside from that there isn’t much on the shoe that isn’t either Pony Hair or Orange or both. On the heel of the shoe the words “Savage Beast” are written. Expect these to be released sometime near the middle of October.

We knew these were coming from Vans and Taka Hayashi this fall, but are still somehow surprised by a design that’s this ‘Off the Wall’. The Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault No Quarter apperars above in its black edition. These joints are VERY high, possibly even further up the leg than Terry Kennedy’s two-strapped Supras. These straps opt for buckles over velcro, enhancing a rustic vibe that extends to the hook eyelets and studs on the heel. If you think these look better now that they have a white sole, cop them today from Extra Butter.

Like many other brilliant artists before him, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s work became more recognized and appreciated after his untimely passing. Reebok has done their part to keep his memory alive with several collaborative efforts that used the artist’s vivid imagery to spice up some classic models. For the fall of 2009, Reebok has released two new colorways of the Top Down, both using Basquiat’s colorfully crude art to grace the uppers. If you are a fan of the artist ot just like the kicks, you can find both pairs now at colette. Via Freshness.

After the Ms. Pacman Dunk Low SB whet the appetites of many SB-heads, a lot of folks were saying that the release was one of the first major steps in the right direction for Nike SB in a while. With that in mind, people started losing their minds when images of the Mr. Pacman Dunk High SB first started showing up, so much so, that the shoe practically stole the show when a pair was spotted at the recent Concepts Blue Lobster release. The Mr. Pacman Dunk SB is poised to make a big splash with its suede upper and eye-catching color scheme, and Nike SB is obviously banking on their success considering they have also gone to the trouble of creating this matching Statement backpack as well. The kicks are expected to drop some time in August as a Quickstrike, but you can already get your hands on a pair of the Pacman’s and the Statement backpack at Arktz, and make sure to check out some more pics of both after the jump.

At long last, we finally get our first look at the super-controversial video footage of LeBron James getting dunked on by Xavier guard, Jordan Crawford, at LeBron’s summer camp a few weeks back. The dunk became headline news after it came out that Nike and LeBron were allegedly trying to confiscate the tape so that no one could see the Swoosh’s golden boy in a less than flattering position. Keep reading after the jump to watch two different versions of the infamous throw-down. After seeing the videos, let us know if you think it was really necessary to go to such great lengths to try to keep this footage under wraps.

Despite what your themometer is saying, Nike (and basically all of the fashion world) insists this is the Fall season. Plenty of new releases from their ‘autumnal’ collection are dropping, including this new leather and canvas number. The Nike WMNS Dunk High has a white canvas upper with emerald green applied to the rear in a pattern that resembles the Windows Paint ‘spray’ tool. These look perfect with grey on the midsole and laces providing balance. Expect them stateside soon at Nike Sportswear retailers or grab a pair today from Ice-Sole.

We first gave you a look at this intriguing hybrid model all the way back in January, and now that the black version has already hit stores, we turn our attention to another upcoming colorway of the Air Max 90 Current Huarache. While this version may not have the collaboration appeal of the upcoming HUF or DQM editions, they still make quite an impact thanks to the bold solid red color scheme. Some subtle contrast is included on the white section of the midsole, as well as on the laces, lining and Flywire. These are expected to arrive at select Nike retailers towards the beginning of August, so keep your eyes peeled and be sure to take a look at some more pics after the jump.

Previously only seen in Europe as part of Nike’s Metro Collection, it looks like the Air Max Zenith will finally be showing up in the U.S. very soon. The shoe takes its inspiration from some classic Nike models, with the Air Max 1 being the most recognizable element. The Air Max Zenith simplifies the Air Max 1 design to create a sleeker silhouette with a stylish look. For starters, the shoe will be released in tonal red and black colorways, both with clean white midsoles, sections of patent leather and a textured material on the mid panels behind the Swoosh. These should be arriving at select Nike retailers soon as a part of the Fall ’09 roster, so we’ll make sure to keep you informed on specific release info and additional colorways. Via HighSnobiety.

Nike SB has plenty to offer to sneakerheads other than just fresh kicks. The Nike Skateboarding line has just released some cool new accessories that will surely be appreciated by the brand’s loyal followers. Nike SB has just come out with two new belts and two leather wallets, both coming in black or royal blue, but the standouts of these recently released goods have to be the two new pairs of SB socks. One pair captures the likeness of the Lucky Dunk and, you guessed it, the other reps for the Unlucky, both paying nice tribute to two classic Dunk SB colorways. All this good stuff is available now at in4mants and other select Nike SB accounts.
