Nike Air Max ST Dark Grey Black White August 09

The Nike Air Max ST has come back strong in 2009.  The pair pictured above is one of the first we saw back when Nike first announced they were bringing it back, and it looks just as good as it did in the previews.  With a dark grey mix of shiny full grain leather, suede and mesh, these find subtle accents from touches of black and a white midsole.  This pair should be out in August just in time for back to school, but you can pre-order a pair now on eBay just to be safe.

Nike Dunk Low CL Hot Red Volt Metallic Platinum
You never know what color scheme you’ll see next on the Nike Dunk Low and this latest version is a reminder of how wild things can get. This bold Dunk Low CL sports one of the most eye-catching colorways seen on the Dunk lately. The shoe features a solid Hot Red upper with a combination of smooth leather and patent. Accents are provided by a Metallic Platinum midsole and some bright touches of Volt on the laces, outsole and tongue branding. Obviously, these kicks are not for everybody, but if you’ve got the swagger to pull these off, they should be hitting stores soon. We’ll keep you posted, and for now, you can see some more pics after the jump. Via Dunk.Com.Cn

Collections: OG Nike Air Force & Air Flights 1985 1993

If only we all had held onto our old kicks and kept them in such good condition. This collector has amassed a nice assortment of OG Nike basketball models, mostly from the Force and Flight lines. Back in the late 80′s and early 90′s, these super-high clunkers were the cream of the crop when it came to basketball kicks. Many of these were among the first batches of Nike basketball sneakers to feature the visible Air bubble and many sport very Air Jordan-like midsoles. While the functionality of most of these may be a little outdated, the designs are still in many ways, more aesthetically appealing than many of today’s “state of the art” models.

The standout of this group has to be the Air Command Force, Nike’s attempt to compete with Reebok’s Pump technology. The shoe was immortalized by Woody Harrelson’s Billy Hoyle character from the movie White Men Can’t Jump and has since gone on to become a cult favorite. Actual OG Air Command Forces in wearable condition are pretty few and far between these days, so our hats are off to Lango for holding on to all these classic kicks for so long.  Photos via langox510x/SC

Nike Zoom Kobe IV Away PE Purple Haze

At this point, the number of colorways that we’ve seen of the Zoom Kobe IV is bordering on countless, but there are a still a couple out there that still haven’t been spotlighted. This version of the Zoom Kobe IV is an away PE that Kobe wore during some road games this past season. While it is similar to some other colorways that we’ve seen, there are definitely some notable differences. This pair sports a solid black upper and midsole with a purple outsole and lining and some splashes of yellow on the Swoosh, Flywire and branding. These are not expected to be released for retail, but if you have to have them, you can design them for yourself at Nike iD. Keep reading after the jump to check out some detailed images of this fresh Zoom Kobe IV and some on court shots of Kobe rocking them. Via Kenlu.

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III 2009 NBA Finals

Kobe Bryant’s special signature sneakers for the 2009 NBA Finals were pretty spectacular.  As made evident in their MVPuppets campaign, Nike fully expected LeBron James to be there with Kobe in the Finals, so naturally, they crafted King James’ playoff sneakers with that in mind.  The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III is pictured above a style similar to Kobe’s, except instead of numbers scrawled on the upper, the ZLSIII has adjectives that describe the NBA’s 2009 MVP.  It remains uncertain if these will see a wide release, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.  via LRJ23

Nike SB Dunk Low Abyss The Joker Sample

Looks like now’s a good time for Nike SB Dunk Lows inspired by movie villains.  This one takes its colours from Heath Ledger’s legendary portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight.  A previous sample had denim on the upper everywhere but side panels and eyelets, plus a black midsole.  The version pictured above goes with a white midsole replaces the denim with suede and nylon.  Who knows why they never made it to the expected Spring 2009 release, but that just makes them all the more valuable if you grab ‘em from Revive.

You already know the True Blue Air Jordan III (3) will release next month at international retailers, but maybe you don’t want to wait.  Hardcore sneakerheads can go ahead and pre-order theirs now to get some peace of mind.  It looks like jumping on them now will get you the True Blues in their original box, sans retro card.  Maybe the retro card makes them worth shopping around for, but if you just must have these, reserve them today from RMK Store.

Air Jordan Flight 45 Air Jordan XII Inspired Holiday 09 Releases

The Jordan Flight 45 has already been seen in some colorways that were obviously inspired by classic models like the Air Jordan I and III and even the Air Command Force. Now it appears that two more beloved Air Jordan color schemes will be borrowed for the holiday ’09 batch of Flight 45 releases. This time around it will be the Air Jordan XII lending its look to the Flight 45, with two tastefully designed nods to the longtime favorite. One version will emulate the White/Black model, with even the Black toe material and the Metallic Gold buckle staying true to the original look of the Air Jordan XII. The other pair stays just as legit, sporting the “Playoff” colorway with a Black/White upper and Varsity Red accents on the heel and tongue branding. You can keep reading after the jump for the release info and a better look at both.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Black White Baltic Blue

With a lot of suspect sample images of the Air Max LeBron VII floating around, it’s nice to see, not only a new colorway, but one that is actually confirmed to be legit. This version of the LeBron VII ditches the Flywire in favor of a woven upper, like the White/Red pair from one of our earlier previews. These colorways also just seem to be getting better with every new peek, with the later ones doing a lot more justice to the design than the early leaks. This version features a Black woven upper with full-grain White leather around the toe, heel and ankle and what appear to be Baltic Blue accents like the ones that were on the Zoom LeBron VI Low and Zoom Soldier III. There is also just a hint of red on the tongue, giving this color scheme a nice extra touch. Stay tuned for more on the Air Max LeBron VII and be sure to check out some closeup shots after the jump. Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Jason Voorhees Friday the 13th Sample

A lot of Nike SB samples from years back have recently found their way to the internet, it started with the Nike SB Blazer High Un-Supreme Omar Salazar’s and now here is a new Nike SB Dunk Low Pro SB that we haven’t seen before. This Dunk Low is being called the Jason Voorhees/Friday the 13th pair as it looks to have been inspired by Jason, the main character from the movie Friday the 13th. Rumor has it that these were scrapped for various reasons and never saw the light of day, however 24 pairs did make their way out into the public. These were produced in 2006 and haven’t surfaced until now, so that should give you sneakerheads an idea of how limited these are. Via Mentalkicks. A pair of these samples are also available on ebay.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium Un Michael Lau Available

You’d have to be ‘crazy’ to miss these.  Michael Lau’s release for Nike’s 1World Air Force 1 campaign was nothing short of stunning.  Then again, they were extremely limited.  The next best thing, then, is this new Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium that sports a similar quilted white leather upper.  Unlike the Lau 1World joints, these have a gum rubber outsole that nicely compliments the all white upper.  Get on the buttery soft leather and grab a pair today from Extra Butter.

Color: White/White-Gum Light Brown
