Nike Big Nike Low 112 Inspired Colorway

We knew DJ Clark Kent’s Nike 112 Pack welcomed two new additions, but now it looks like another Nike model has adopted a similar color scheme.  Pictured above is the new Nike Big Nike Low in 112 styling.  They have a slick upper that changes from black to a light grey through three transitions from front to back, while neon green accents remind you what’s up here.  These should drop soon, so stick with Sneaker News for updates or place your pre-orders now on eBay.

Nike Zoom Speed Low Spring 2010

The reason you think the new Nike Zoom Speed Low resembles the Zoom Kobe IV is because, well, it does.  Strip out the Flywire and accompanying indentations on the midsoles from the ZKIV’s side panels and anyone but the truest sneakerheads would have trouble telling them apart.  It looks like Nike will push this model as a lightweight shoe for guards come Spring 2010, and we have shots of six unique models after the jump.  Check out the photos and let us know if you think the design was worth revisiting like this.  via Kenlu

Nike Air Force 1 Low Entourage Fukijama Turtle Sample Detailed Images

Fans of HBO’s Entourage will recognize these kicks immediately. In the episode where Turtle is desperately trying to track down a pair of Air Force 1′s designed by fictional artist, Fukijama, he recieves this 1 of 1 custom pair from the designer himself as a consolation prize when he is unable to get his hands on a pair. These kicks sport some crazy designs, patterns and materials pretty much everywhere you look, and on an interesting note, the Undefeated logo is on the tongue of the right shoe. Obviously, these will never be released, but at least you can finally get another up-close look at all the details of these kicks and their intricately decorated collector’s box after the jump. Nike Air Force 25 Low LeBron vs. Kobe Pack Spring 2010

Along with a ton of NBA fans, Nike was drooling over the possibility of a LeBron vs. Kobe NBA Finals matchup last season. The whole MVPuppet commercial campaign eventually went unfulfilled with only one half of Nike’s dynamic duo actually making it to the Finals. Even though the showdown never took place, the Kobe/LeBron debate is still going on between NBA fans everywhere. Next spring Nike will bring back the Air Force 25 Low in two colorways inspired by the Cavs and Lakers color schemes. While it’s unknown if this is an official pack, the inspiration behind them is pretty obvious. These will both be hitting Nike retailers next Spring, so if you’re feeling these kicks, let us know who’s colorway you’ll be rocking. Via Kenlu.

For those of you that don’t live in or near the New York, Chicago or Los Angeles areas, it must be pretty frustrating to see all the amazing limited releases that drop exclusively at House of Hoops. Nike Zoom Kobe IV NBA Finals Away Finals MVP

So what if Kobe Bryant didn’t win the 2009 NBA MVP award?!  He ended the season hoisting both the Larry O’Brien and Bill Russell trophies, having won both the NBA Championship and Finals MVP, respectively.  We all know that Kobe’s signature sneakers during the Finals were spectacularly scribbled upon, and now the black version he wore during the away games is ready for purchase.  The Nike Zoom Kobe IV Finals Edition ‘Away’ can now be called the ‘Finals MVP’ edition, now that Nike added those letters in metallic gold to the tongue.  Other than the MVP tongue and graffiti, these only differ from the Purple Haze edition by their swapping of yellow for metallic gold.  If you prefer these, they’re available now from Marquee Sole.

Nike Dunk High Black Monster Red

Despite being available next month, these are some of the ‘scariest’ Dunks we’ve seen in a while.  Actually, we’ll concede that the Nike Dunk High pictured above isn’t all that frightening.  The truth is, the black leather upper looks fantastic atop a Monster Red sole.  Monster Red is just a shade darker than Nike’s legendary Infrared shade, so we’re excited to see more of this new hue.  Take a look at more photos after the jump and get ready for these to drop later in July or early in August. If you don’t want to risk missing them, you can place a pre-order for these now on eBay.

Air Jordan 1 High Strap Holiday 09 Releases

Last week, we gave you a look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat Premier colorways from the holiday ’09 60+ series, but they won’t be the only Air Jordan 1′s in the collection. Joining the 60+ versions, there will also be two new colorways of the Air Jordan 1 High Strap. Both feature simple Black on Black uppers, but there are some definite differences between the two. Obviously the accent colors on the straps and midsoles are the most noticeable variations, with one pair using Voltage Yellow highlights and the other sporting some touches of Orion Blue. There are, however, some other subtle differences like the materials of the uppers. The Black /Voltage Yellow pair uses a more traditional rich leather, while the Black Orion version features a combination of grid nylon and a material that appears to be covered with a snakeskin-like pattern. You can get a better look at both colorways after the jump, as well as the release info for each.

Air Jordan 2009 Unreleased Samples

Reactions to the Air Jordan 2009 were pretty mixed, and as a result, they didn’t necessarily create the stir that other Air Jordan models caused. Not many colorways were released, leaving those who liked the shoe disappointed and those who weren’t feeling them indifferent. Now we get a look at two unreleased samples that sport some traditional Air Jordan/Chicago Bulls colorways. The Bred look is always a favorite and it seems a shame that these versions never got a chance to shine. Both do justice to the design and the Black/Red color scheme always looks so right on an Air Jordan shoe. If you’re a fan of the Air Jordan 2009 or at least these colorways, you can check out some more pics after the jump for a look at what could have been. Via NT.

Maloof Money Cup 2009

The three-day Maloof Money Cup competition, which boasts the largest purse in the history of professional skateboarding, rolled into the orange County fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, California last weekend and hosted three different professional competitions—Men’s and Women’s Pro Street, Men’s Pro Vert and the U.S. Amateur Championships. The event, created by Joe Maloof, included an innovative new street course designed by some of the top names in the skateboard industry and a 40,000 square-foot interactive festival village featuring action sport retailers and skateboarding activities.

Because this is the richest skateboarding event in history, all of the street legends and icons made an appearance, including Paul Rodriguez, Terry Kennedy, Ryan Sheckler, Geoff Rowley, Chris Cole, Erik Ellington, Nyjah Huston, Eric Koston, Greg Lutzka, Chaz Ortiz and Braydon Szafranski.  Catch these big names on the NBC broadcast of the Maloof Money Cup this Sunday, July 19th, 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST.  Additional photos via Transworld.
