Air Jordan Phly Legend Holiday 09 Releases
Before some of the newer models that more blatantly go for a lifestyle look, the Jordan Phly Legend was one of the only options if you wanted a casual looking Jordan shoe. The model will be back in some new colorways for the holiday ’09 season, offering a simple silhouette that falls somewhere in between a classic basketball design and a lifestyle sneaker. Of the five new versions, the two that jump out are the Phly Legend Premium editions that borrow their color schemes from the Air Jordan XII, similar to the Flight 45′s that we showed you yesterday. Keep reading after the jump for a look at release info and pics of all five upcoming holiday ’09 colorways.

Thursday Throwback 2005 Nike Air Force 1 Miami 305

Thursday Throwback by: GourmetKickz

Year: 2005
Name: Air Force 1
Style #: 309096-181
Colors:
White/Clementine-Aloe (Miami)
NikeAirForce1.com 1Thology Profile

“This is how we take the old from new, the new to the old, the old from the new!” Yes we’re about to take you back….. Way back…… into time! So once again I find myself digging into the year 2005 to find some of the dopest AF1′s in my collection. Long before Pitbull was shouting out 305 on every club track and even before Officer Ricky was disgracing Dade County with lackluster street cred, Miami was doing big things! So big in fact that the Sunshine State’s gem of a city was included in Nike’s 2005 City pack. One of the few woven Air Forces to be released as part of this limited city pack is the eye-catching dish before you. Some clementine and aloe please! What ingredients better to mix up a tropical dish than two colors hardly ever used by Nike! The dog tag graphic with “305″ and “MIA” (using the abbreviation as a play on words to warrant the usage of dog tags)  is a nice finisher to an already complete sneaker. A tough colorway to hook up with  much outside of some Miami teams gear, but nonetheless a release few sneakerheads could live without. This AF1 Premium is a great summer sneaker to catch plenty of attention from unschooled “sneakerheads” whether you are dealing with inconsistent sun in the North, or dripping with sweat in a wifebeater sipping on mojitos in Miami. So if you are a true AF1 King like me, make it a point to reach into your collection, dust off your Miami Wovens and don them a time or two to see what knowledgeable necks you can break!

Nike Zoom LeBron Ambassador II Spring 2010

Kobe Bryant and LeBron James each have an NBA MVP Award, but Kobe has four championship rings, whereas LeBron has none.  If it’s any consolation, LeBron has three series of shoes, but Kobe just got his first secondary sneaker (the Kobe Strength trainers notwithstanding).  The Nike Zoom Lebron Ambassador II is pictured above in three new colours for Spring 2010.  There’s one in Cleveland’s uniform colours, another in white and black with metallic gold accents, plus a colourway that’s likely designed with the Summit Lake Hornets in mind.  Take a look at all three after the jump and let us know if you plan to cop these when they drop early next year.  via Kenlu

Nike Dunk High Nylon Premium Grey Red Blue

NYLON Magazine’s collaboration with Nike Sportswear won’t be the last time their namesake fabric will grace the Dunk silhouette.  This Nike Dunk High Nylon Premium comes to us in a grey colour that extends from the upper to the sole.  They have royal blue laces, plus the tongue tag, lining and Swoosh are a nice red colour that might turn out to be Nike’s new Monster Red shade.  These will be available soon and we’ll keep you in the loop, but if you can’t wait, reserve a pair now on eBay.

Palms Hotel x Supra Skytop White TUF

Sometimes simple is best.  Such is the case with Supra’s collaboration with the Las Vegas Palms Hotel on this beautiful new Skytop.  It’s done in white Tuf material, so they’d be nearly indestructable if Palms Operations Manager Jon Gray ever decides to wear any of the 23 pairs.  Then again, the lime green and lavander accents look so nice that we couldn’t blame him for keeping these on ice.  Take a look at more shots after the jump, including one of DJ AM paying his respect to this dope design.

Nike Sky Force High Black Metallic Silver Tecmo Bo

The ‘possible’ third Tecmo Bo Nikes are now official.  The Nike Sky Force High evokes Bo Jackson’s cannonshot of a career with the LA Raiders.  These have a black suede upper, plus metallic silver leather on the Swooshes and eyelet panels.  The standout features are the silver pixelations surrounding the Swoosh, plus the lower ankle collar that we can see more clearly in these photos has a tonal pixel pattern.  Another new addition is the ‘Tecmo Bo’ character in Raiders garb charging across the tongue tag.  Expect these within a few weeks or you can pre-order a pair now on eBay.

Nike Blazer Mid Premium Sail Metallic Gold Sample

With Blazers taking command of Nike Sportswear this year, we’ve seen plenty of ways to spice up its relatively simple design.  This one borrows the idea of omitting the typically sewn-on Swoosh and takes it a step further.  The Nike Blazer Mid Premium pictured above makes the most of its off-white tumbled leather upper by using perforations to create the outline of a Swoosh.  Metallic gold embroidery on the heel tab finishes these off nicely.  We haven’t seen this kind of design for Blazers other than our Spring 2010 SB Blazer preview, so the only place you can cop these is Osneaker.

Nike Hyperdunk Philippines Available @ House of Hoops LA

It probably won’t help subdue the annual monsoons, but the Philippines have been honoured with two excellent Nike basketball designs this month.  Hot on the heels of an Asia-Exclusive Hyperize is that shoe’s forerunner, the Nike Hyperdunk.  Pictured above, it’s coloured by the blue, red, yellow and white found on the nation’s flag.  They’re available now at Foot Locker’s House of Hoops specialty store at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. Nike Air Max ST Dark Grey Black White August 09

The Nike Air Max ST has come back strong in 2009.  The pair pictured above is one of the first we saw back when Nike first announced they were bringing it back, and it looks just as good as it did in the previews.  With a dark grey mix of shiny full grain leather, suede and mesh, these find subtle accents from touches of black and a white midsole.  This pair should be out in August just in time for back to school, but you can pre-order a pair now on eBay just to be safe.

Nike Dunk Low CL Hot Red Volt Metallic Platinum
You never know what color scheme you’ll see next on the Nike Dunk Low and this latest version is a reminder of how wild things can get. This bold Dunk Low CL sports one of the most eye-catching colorways seen on the Dunk lately. The shoe features a solid Hot Red upper with a combination of smooth leather and patent. Accents are provided by a Metallic Platinum midsole and some bright touches of Volt on the laces, outsole and tongue branding. Obviously, these kicks are not for everybody, but if you’ve got the swagger to pull these off, they should be hitting stores soon. We’ll keep you posted, and for now, you can see some more pics after the jump. Via Dunk.Com.Cn
