The Nike Dunk High continues to be a great canvas for all types of different concepts and themes. This latest version is rumored to be inspired by cult 60′s Japanese superhero, Ultraman. The shoe features two different materials on the upper, with some sections covered by grey suede and others graced by smooth red leather. Like some other recent Dunk High models, these kicks also feature a decorative perforation pattern on the mid and ankle panels. The color scheme is then capped off by a black midsole, red outsole and white laces. These are expected to hit select retailers some time next month, so keep a look out and be sure to check out some more closeups after the jump.

The Nike Shox R4 runner has been a top seller for the Swoosh for quite a while now. It has a sleek, well-cushioned design, but this newest edition takes the R4 to another level. We’ve seen multicoloured Flywire on the side panels of plenty of kicks since last year’s Hyperdunk introduced the resilient, ultralight ‘fabric’, but these look especially good with red on the forefoot and black at the back. All of that is atop a white upper that features just a touch of metallic silver. We expect the latest Nike Shox R4 in Q3 2009 from Nike retailers like Vault.

Despite its classic Nike running look, the Air Max ST is still one of the most underrated models in the Air Max catalog. This fall, the ST will finally be making its way back to stores as a Retro release. We gave you some nice looks at both the White/Black/Hot Red and Dark Grey/Black/White versions and now some new sample images have just surfaced by way of Ty from Leaders. Both sport a nubuck/mesh upper with clean white midsoles and large visible Air bubbles in the heel. We’ll keep you up to date on the latest release info as it becomes available. For now, you can get a closer look at both colorways after the jump.

The Jordan 16.5 Team is, as you would expect, a cross between the Air Jordan XVI and XVII. The shoe sports a pretty sleek design with the lion’s share of the design elements apparently coming from the Air Jordan XVI. The XVII is represented though, most prominently by the large eyelet rings that appear on the side of the upper. We’ve already shown you some previews of the Jordan 16.5, and now we have a look at the entire upcoming collection. There will be four colorways in all, three sporting White leather uppers with differing accent colors, and one pair that goes with a Black on Black look. The first Jordan 16.5 will drop in October, with additional releases following in November and December. You can check out the release info and get a closer look at all four colorways after the jump.

The third installment of the Jordan Ol’ School series sticks to the theme of trying to create new designs with a classic look. While the Ol’ School I and II took a simpler approach to achieve that goal, the Ol’ School III is a more ambitious attempt at designing a shoe with a unique appearance, while still holding on to the classic Jordan aesthetics. With the exception of the Air Jordan V eyelet panel on the ankle, these kicks definitely have an identity all their own. Aside from the obvious color differences, the most notable feature is the varying designs and patterns on the different midsole stripes. The shoe will be released in seven colorways between October and December, providing enough different styles that there should be something for just about everyone, depending on your personal tastes. Keep reading after the jump for a closeup look at all seven, as well as the release info for each.

Many of the recent Air Force 1 offerings have taken very simple approaches in terms of colorways and even color blocking and it appears that this Supreme Max version will follow suit. These kicks use a black 3M premium leather upper with tucked seams and some nice contrasting white accents on the Swoosh, laces and midsole. A black lining, tongue label and outsole finish off the clean look of the shoe and the visible Air unit in the heel gives the shoe an extra touch to help balance the simplicity with just a little bit of flare. This Air Force 1 Supreme will be hitting select Nike retailers in mid-August, so be sure to keep your eyes open for these super-crisp kicks. Pairs of these can now be pre-ordered on ebay.

Actor, Lance Gross, who stars on TBS’ Tyler Perry’s House of Payne sitcom celebrated his birthday a couple nights ago in Los Angeles at The Kress along with some of his friends, fiancé, Eva Marcille, and some Pussycat Dolls Dancers. Lance was seen wearing a pair of the newly released Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Don’s in the all Red colorway and matched them perfectly with a shirt that was almost as bright as the shoes.

The Air Jordan Sixty Plus has gotten mixed reviews so far, some of you Jordan fans as elated to see a new hybrid from the Jordan Brand while others seem to still be stuck on the Spizike. None the less Jordan Brand will release four new Sixty Plus colorways come the Holiday 2009 Season. The four colors are inspired by four NBA teams that MJ terrorized during his career with the Chicago Bulls. The four teams include the Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Atlanta Hawks. Look for these four colorways to drop during the last three months of 2009.

Following up the Air Jordan Sixty Plus (60+) Holiday 2009 Collection will be an Air Jordan I Retro Phat Premier Collection that features the use of the same four teams as the four Sixty Plus’ that are to be released this Holiday 2009 Season from Jordan Brand. Those four teams include the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Detroit Pistons. The reason that these four teams’ colors were used is because MJ scored 60 or more points against these four teams as well as the Orlando Magic. Look for these to drop at select Jordan Brand retailers this Holiday 2009 Season.

LeBron apparently got hammered on by a college kid, but he confiscated the tapes so y’all won’t be able to laugh. No need to worry when rocking kicks as smooth as these. You’ll have the last laugh in the dope new white Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III TB. It might be hard to keep these clean, but the way the metallic silver accents the pure white upper will be worth the trouble. No word yet on a release date, so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via FlightClub

Nike’s big-ups for Bo Jackson have extended beyond the Air Trainer retros and the new Nike Trainer 1. We saw a crazy Blazer with ‘Tecmo Bo’ emblazoned upon the tongue tag, and this pair looks to be part of the same pack. The Nike Sky Force High pictured above lacks ‘Tecmo Bo’ in Raiders garb, but keeps the silver and black and uses the Blazer’s pixelated side panels. Ty of LDRS1354 reported that these are samples, so they might not release. If they do, expect them alongside the Blazer and Air Trainer TW IIs.

The Air Jordan Phly Legend is looking great in its upscale renditions. This latest Premier release takes a simple colour scheme and uses some clever treatments to the leather to make make it one of the best in its class. The pair pictured above could be summed up as brown, with hints of dark yellow and a white sole. Then again, the side panels are a rich and dark tumbled leather, while the toe and eyelets have a distressed leather that reveals a nice tonal borwn harmony. These tonal hits bring in the yellow very nicely and do well to tie the whole package together. Grab a pair of these today from Kinetics, and soon from Jordan Brand retailers stateside.
