Feride Uslu wasn’t satisfied adding her Uslu Airlines touch to one of the best in Nike’s 1World Air Force 1 series. Here’s another sneaker from one of the world’s preeminent makeup artists. The Reebok Courtee Mid by Feride Uslu appears to be a white shoe with metallic gold patterns overlaid. When the lights go out, the gold glows in the dark, creating a neon green on black look. Look for these about a year after the Uslu AF1, March 2010. via Uslu’s colette blog

Common Projects is well known for applying premium materials to clean designs. Nylon has rarely looked as good as it does on their new Safari Boot hightops. These feature a chukka-like construction with metal eyelets. The standout feature is a gold stamp on the inner heel detailing each pair’s serial number and size. Both the grey pair pictured above and a white edition you’ll see after the jump are among the many new releases available now from Oki-Ni.

The Nike SB Zoom Air Veloce is frequently overshadowed by high profile Dunks and other coveted releases, but these are sure to gain some extra tradition for the SB standby. With a mix of black, browns and orange, these somewhat resemble the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Vapors’ from a few years back. There are alot of colours here, but they’re all somewhat earthy, so they’ll do well with the fashions that coincide with their Holiday 2009 release. via N-SB.org

Vans recently fused two of their most successful models together in the Sk8-Hi and Mountain Edition High to make the Moda Hi, which they have collaborated with California streetwear brand, Crooks & Castles, on. Now it looks like Vans will work with New York’s Acapulco Gold on another Moda Hi that is scheduled for a March 2010 release. The Acapulco Gold collaboration on the Moda Hi is clean and simple and features minimal branding from AG. The sneaker carries a simple White, Grey, and Green colorway that uses a mix of leather and suede. via Hypebeast

Nike has recently designed some rugged outdoor basketball models for summer playground ballin’. One of the most notable offerings will be the Zoom Soldier III XDR (Extra Durable Rubber), a blacktop-ready version of LeBron’s popular secondary shoe. The shoe sports a clean look with a black on black upper and white highlights, not to mention the upgraded durability aspects that make these kicks ready for some concrete punishment. You may have already seen the Zoom Soldier III XDR alongside the Dream Season X as part of the recent W.N.I.K.E. viral campaign. The outdoor b-ball push from Nike will continue when these kicks are released very soon as an Asia exclusive. No word yet on whether or not these will ever hit the States, but if you don’t want to risk it, they are available for pre-order from Kix-Files.

First released earlier this year at a handful of Nike Tier Zero retailers, the Nike Toki has been one of the most well received new models from the footwear giant in a number of years. The Nike Toki combines the Nike Sabaku with the Nike Blazer giving it a simple yet classic silhouette that many compare to a certain Vans sneaker. This upcoming colorway of the Nike Toki features an upper that uses all Obsidian suede with a White outsole that features a Vivid Pink stripe running across of it. Look for these to drop at select Nike retailers in the upcoming months. via Osneaker

Last week, we gave you a peek at some of the classic heat that was on display at the Outerspace Sneaker Expo exhibition in Barcelona, and now we have some more pics from the event, including some pretty rare gems. There were plenty of vintage Nikes to drool over including some OG Air Mariahs and Cortez’s, as well as some super-rare forgotten jewels like the Hawaii, Attack McEnroe and Finland. The picks of the litter though have to be the Air Jordan II prototype and the Air Python which actually looks more like the Air Jordan II than the aforementioned prototype. Also on display in this batch of photos are some classic Vans and Converse models and the crew that helped put all this together. Keep reading after the jump for a look at a ton of seldom seen vintage kicks. Via Hypebeast.

This year’s Tour de France is in full swing and with Lance Armstrong currently sitting in third place, his LIVESTRONG foundation is spreading awareness all over the world. As you know, Nike Sportswear’s LIVESTRONG collection has taken many of Nike’s rare and classic models and given them a Black/Yellow LIVESTRONG makeover. To coincide with the ongoing race, Frank Liew and the Qubic crew created a beautiful installation that features the Nike footwear collection with a backdrop featuring a profile map of Stage 20 of the race (Montelimar – Mont Vernoux), which is one of the race’s most arduous stretches and a symbolic reminder of the struggles that Armstrong himself continues to overcome. Some other things of note were a yellow deconstructed bicycle and tools on the wall and also that many of the sneakers were encased in glass along with some history on each. Keep reading after the jump for a nice look at the installation. Via Hypebeast.
