With a successful launch for her Nike Blazer High Supreme last year, Carri Mundane brought the Cassette Playa signature style to another Nike legend. The Cassette Playa x Nike Dunk High Premium comes to us in an eyeball laden nylon print upon which a black overlay is secured with white stitching. The same white stitches fasten a translucent plastic Swoosh to the sides while an otherworldly insect creature adorns the tongue tag. Carmelo Anthony was spotted in Los Angeles at the launch party for TAG’s new signature series of body sprays alongside his fiance, LaLa Vasquez, as well as Ludacris and Rob Dyrdek. Melo who is known for often having some of the best Jordan’s in the game since he’s been a member of Jordan Brand since his Rookie Season, was actually seen wearing a pair of the Louis Vuitton x Kanye West Jasper’s in the Grey and Pink colorway. Some other notable celebrities who were also seen at the event were Lance Gross, who was seen wearing the same pair of LV x Kanye West sneakers as Carmelo. Joel Madden who was spotted wearing the Nike SB Angel & Demon Dunk’s again.

The original Reese Forbes-designed ‘Wheat’ Nike Dunk SB Low Pro introduced a Timberland vibe that was replicated in 2006 with a cord laced Mid that might have more fully realized the inspiration. The new release above takes that Mid’s silhouette and chocolate brown toe to its logical conclusion. The rich brown suede upper allows the construction boot laces to really pop. The Nike SB Zoom Classic looks to receive a nice push this season. Its first ‘named’ release, the ‘Horror Eyes’ pack is set to drop for Halloween and this pair pictured above has a pumpkin vibe as well. We saw Dope Factory create some nice Nike SB Dunk keychains and then CBG crafted some mini-Air Jordans. Supra cashed in with their own releases and now New Balance follows suit. Japanese water bottler Vittel helped NB with eight designs comprised of brown or black 576s plus six different 996s in a range of colours. It looks like this might be a promotion where you can turn in bottle caps or UPCs to get the keychains, but we’ll update you with more as it develops. via Houyhnahnm

With a differently coloured cousin on the way in about a month, the latest Nike Dunk High Premium has made its way to retailers. Like that other pair we showed you in our Fall 2009 Nike Dunk preview, these have a perforated grid on the side panels and quasi-quilting on the rear quarter/heel. Yellow, orange and white scream summer, but the supposed no-no combo of navy blue and black tone things down just a bit. Grab em today from Caliroots.

Nike will be releasing a new lifestyle ND sneaker called the Nike Hybrid AC ND, that fuses a vulcanized Blazer outsole with an upper that looks to feature hints of a boat shoe and some parts of the Nike Free Hybrid Boot and the Nike Chukka Woven. The first colorway that looks to be available of this sneaker is this Black, Black, and Swan colorway that features some hints of Aqua Blue. The Nike Hybrid AC in this Black colorway is still a sample and change will most likely be made to make it better before we see it on retail shelves but if you want to stunt early with these than pick them up now at Osneaker.

The Jordan Brand Holiday 2009 collection will feature two new Air Jordan 1 High Strap colorways. We gave you a detailed look at the Black/Orion Blue pair a few days back and now we turn our attention to the other colorway. This version sports similar color blocking to the other, using a Black on Black smooth leather upper with Voltage Yellow accents on the midsole, as well as the removable ankle strap. Alberto Contador ascended the podium following Sunday’s last stage of the Tour de France wearing a white pair of Lunar Foam-equipped runners. The black ones also resemble Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG palette, but they were actually released as part of Nike Sportswear’s ‘Black Out’ collection. The Nike LunaRacer+ is available in black with either yellow or blue accents and sole. When the New Balance 850 debuted in 1991, the Cleveland Cavaliers were on the verge of adopting a new uniform that pretty well matches the pair on the right. These have a smooth mix of navy blue, powder blue and orange, plus touches of grey and white to balance the palette. Earlier today, we gave you a nice preview of the Sport Red edition of the eagerly anticipated Nike SB Zoom P-Rod III. Now we get another look at one of the first colorways to emerge, along with some pics of their luxurious packaging. As you may have already seen in previous sneak peeks, the shoe features a Black leather/suede upper with a White midsole and Red accents. Some extra stylish touches come courtesy of a Safari-like pattern that appears on the toe and midsole, as well as covering the insoles. In addition to the shoe itself, another selling point for the P-Rod III is their premium wooden Nike SB box and the drawstring bag that comes inside to keep the kicks at their best. The P-Rod III is expected to hit Nike SB retailers this fall, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated on the specific release info. Via SGT.

Diamond Supply Co. has once again teamed up with DVS for a new collaboration. Using the JDubbs sneakers, Diamond Supply Co. has chosen a colorway similar to their famous Nike “Tiffany” Dunk Lo SB’s. However this pair features a nice combination of premium leather, epi-suede and mesh. Rumored to be releasing as a pack with a matching New Era cap of the same motif, these sneakers are expected to drop in January coinciding the birthday of Nicky Diamonds of Diamond Supply.
