Back in February, Nike released an NBA All-Star pack of two Quickstrike Air Force 1′s that were co-designed by DJ Clark Kent and Starks Laces. The pack featured black and white versions of the Air Force 1, both featuring purple, orange and yellow accents as a nod to the game’s host city, Phoenix. Now it appears that a third shoe was also created by the same design team, but this one was not sold for retail. Instead, this version was given out as a player exclusive to some of the All-Star’s taking part in the weekend’s events. Aside from the white upper with Phoenix Suns accent colors, this Air Force 1 also sports an embossed “09″ on the upper, as well as a visible Air unit in the heel and a special pair of matching Starks laces. As another added bonus, the insoles are graced with a printed excerpt from a classic Notorious B.I.G. rhyme, giving this Air Force 1 a clever extra touch. These will never be released and will be hard to find anywhere for that matter, but at least you can get a good look at the kicks after the jump. Via Starks.

The United States Basketball Select Team concluded their minicamp with a Blue and White scrimmage this past Sunday, July 25th at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Twenty NBA players attended the minicamp to try and improve their stock at making the United States Men’s Basketball Senior Team which already boasts, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and more. Of these twenty USAB Select Team attendees, the most notable were Kevin Durant, Rudy Gay, Andre Iguodala, Derrick Rose, O.J. Mayo, and more. Kevin Durant who some are saying all but locked himself up a spot to represent the USA next year during the World Championship Games in Turkey was seen wearing a pair of what looks to be the Nike KD 2′s in a Team USA colorway of White, Navy, and Red. The KD2 appears to feature a midfoot strap all while keeping a silhouette that is similar to that of the KD1. Additionally various other Nike Basketball athletes such as Rudy Gay and Andre Iguodala who were seen rocking a pair of the Nike Air Zoom Sharkalaids’s and Nike Hyperize’s respectively. Other notable sneakers seen on the court during the scrimmage were Rusell Westbrook’s Nike Flight Club’s in a Team USA colorway as well as O.J. Mayo and his pair of Nike Hypermax’s.

Right in the middle of the Blue Lobster hysteria at the Concepts release event back in June, the show was stolen by a pair of Yellow Lobster Dunks that created a lot of buzz and speculation. It turns out that only 34 pairs of the Yellow Lobster Dunk were made and given to Nike SB friends and family, as well as the crew at Concepts. These will never be released for retail, but this pair was given away at the Sneaker Pimps event in Boston last weekend. Given the extreme rarity of the shoe, this may be your only shot to get a pair now that these have just gone on eBay. Be prepared to drop some scratch though, because there are a lot of sneakerheads out there willing to go all out for such a scarce collector’s item. Even if you’re not ready to break the bank for these, you can at least take a look at some detailed photos after the jump. Thanks to Andre for the heads up. Photos: SUPREMExCLIENTELE.

Lance Armstrong came back to the Tour de France from a four-year hiatus and while he didn’t finish first, the seven-time Tour de France Champion finished in a very respectable third place. Lance, rode a Trek Art Bike designed by Damien Hirst, one of the many artists who participated in the STAGES exhibition that Lance, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and Nike put together. The exhibition was put together to raise global cancer awareness and it certainly has done just that and more. Lance who attended the exhibition was spotted wearing a number of pieces from the Nike Sportswear x LIVESTRONG STAGES Collection including a Nike Sportswear x LIVESTRONG x Loopwheeler tee as well as a pair of the very exclusive Nike Sportswear x LIVESTRONG x Futura “FLOM” Dunk High Supreme’s. via STAGES.

The wait is over, the Air Jordan III (3) Retro in it’s OG colorway of White and True Blue have finally been retroed and will be available shortly at select Jordan Brand retailers. The rumor is that these will not be sold in the US and will be an International Release only, but we are waiting to confirm the rumor. This pair of Retro’s are almost identical to the pair that was originally released in 1988, but of course the difference like many of the Retro Jordan III’s and IV’s is that the “Nike Air” logo on the heel has been replaced with a Jumpman logo. Joel Madden was spotted this past weekend with Nicole Richie and their daughter, Harlow, in Los Angeles just after breakfast. Joel, who is known to be somewhat of a sneakerhead, was seen wearing a pair of the Nike SB Dunk Low Premium “Angel and Demon” shoes with a pair of plaid shorts and RVCA tank top. While the outfit may not have matched to our standards, the kicks are hot. You may remember these SB Dunk’s from back in March when they were released. via tlfan.to // nitro:licious.

Along with the opening of his own skate park at LA’s Richie Valens Park, Nike SB held ‘A Day With Paul’, celebrating Rodriguez’ third signature release. There was plenty of skating and good eats, but perhaps the most interesting thing was the Nike SB showcase inside Paul’s indoor training facility. Pictured above is a new Nike SB Dunk High with eyes patterned on the underlay, displayed alongside a new maize Omar Salazar pro model. There are a bunch of other photos after the jump with sneak peeks at models we’ve seen before, plus some that are brand new. Click the jump and prepare to be teased. via Slap
